This place is a complete scam. They take your money upfront and then take weeks to get back to you. Then they give you tracking numbers for your shipment, but the item never ships. Then they come back with excuses, such as, well... we had to order another part. It has been months and I doubt we'll ever see our $2,400 camera or a refund (almost $1,000). Not only did they help me learn how to use some cameras I wasn't super familiar with, but they also fixed my camcorder in just two days--which is already amazing on its own. At BurningMan in the Black Rock Desert this year, I accidentally broke the top LCD panel and protective glass on my Canon 5d Mark IV. There were no local shops in my city that could repair it before an upcoming trip so I went online to search for a camera repair shop that could fix this fast and get it to me within 10 days. I found Pro Camera Fix via a Google search, called, and spoke with Arthur. He assured me he could fix the screen for a reasonable price and clean the camera for free. There was a delay in the parts supplier getting the screen, but Arthur kept me updated and assured me his team could complete this and have it next day aired to me, the day before my trip. And he did! It arrived in like-new condition, fully functional, and they did a great job at cleaning all the BurningMan playa dust from the entire camera, including the sensor. Pro Cam Fix has had my camera and my money for over two years at this point. In the beginning they would respond by saying they had to order a circuit card for the repair. They then said it was on back order. Then they stopped responding at all. Once I finally reach a live person on the phone I was told the circuit card had come in and the camera should be repaired that week and I would be sent an email with the tracking number. I was told there was an 18 day wait on a part that I needed; that combined with their alleged 5-7 day turnaround time. So I was very aware that it could take around a month to get my camera back. it is now DECEMBER 30th AND I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY CAMERA!!!!!! Around the beginning of December, I reached out through email and calling, and after about a week of that, someone called me back on the 9th of December claiming my camera would get shipped the following day (the 10th). I did receive a tracking number but after 20 DAYS, USPS claims they have still not received the package! I dropped off my lens 2/3 months ago. I was told it would be fixed in a month. I depend on this lens for my income. I'm now unemployed. I really need this lens to make my money (truly). It's my standard lens and my only other is a fixed 50mm. I truly think this repair shop is holding my lens HOSTAGE. I paid for it in full to be fixed = $900ish dollars. Every week when I reach them (which is EXTREMELY hard) over the phone, they say "give us one more week" or something along those lines. I'm fed up. You see, My friend committed suicide a month ago and I want to film the memorial tomorrow morning. Now I cannot. I am the organizer of the memorial and as a professional videographer, am responsible for recording it. I have called three times today since this morning and have not gotten a response. What now? I cannot afford to rent a lens since I am unemployed. I am not even eligible for unemployment. I'm also disabled and waiting for disability insurance to possibly approve me. This is frankly ridiculous. I will be escalating this to the California Contractors State License Board if I do not hear from them soon. PROCAMFIX, if you want me to change this review, resolve the issue, and give me a partial or full cash refund for the inconvenience and dollars lost due to the unemployment. After 1-1/2 months I started to call. Finally I got to talk to someone and did receive my lens, however still not working properly. I sent the lens back in 6 months ago and still have not been able to talk to a person. Currently I am out $2000 for a lens I do not have and $350 in fees to fix the lens. This company is a total SCAM!!! Do NOT send your camera to them. You will either lose the camera and the money you paid to have it fixed. "Arthur" who was the person I spoke with is a smooth talker, but that is all. The details of my nightmare with liar and his firm is pretty much the same as what you will read below so I will not bore you with too many details. Suffice it to say, they have had my Nikon FA since March of 2023 and have been "trumping" me ever since. The good thing is I had my bank (TD Bank) go after them, so I did get the 250 dollars returned from these scammers filing a fraud complaint. I sent my Panasonic HC VX1 to Pro Cam Fix on Aug. 28th 2024. They received it on Sept. 5th (order #P1006006) They charged me $354.00 to change the P.C Board Main. To make a long story short, I never received my camera back. I called a couple of times they replied back and said that they were going to send the camera that week and that was in October. I've called numerous times and emails with no response. This place is a scam and they need to be brought to Justice. They are stealing people cameras and reselling them. I read all the mixed reviews and I was desperate to get a couple of cameras repaired, so I sent in my Sony RX 10M3, which needed a new LCD screen. Communication was great up front (before they had my money). They sent me an estimate with a time frame of when the repair would be done, so I sent in my payment. Several weeks later, I followed up and I was told that they were waiting from a part from Sony. I followed up a while later, and I was told that my repair would be finished in a few days and that I would get an email with a tracking number for my camera's return. Several days later, I received that email and my camera was returned with the repairs done. End of story....right? Not so fast. Now that I was successful with the first repair, I tested the odds and sent in my Canon G7X, which had a photo button that was stuck. I followed the same procedure and I paid when I was given an estimate of the cost and a time frame for when the repair would be done. About three weeks later, I called to follow up on the repair and I was told that they were waiting for the part. I told them no problem. When I returned from a trip, about six weeks after that first call, I was told that the repair was complete and that I would get a tracking number a few days later. That tracking number never came. When I tried to call them back, I was never again able to speak with a customer service representative. I called many times and left a few messages, but no one ever responded back to me. I then reached out to PayPal, through whom I paid for the repair, and I started the process to receive a refund for the money that I sent them. I was given a date by PayPal, by which Pro Cam Fix had to respond to them with an explanation or a shipping notification. My assumption is that they never responded to PayPal, since Paypal processed my refund on that same day. Pro Cam Fix still has my camera, however, and they have not responded to my inquires about having it returned, fixed or not. If you feel like tossing the dice, then go ahead send Pro Cam Fix your camera and hope that they repair it an send it back. If you decide to use this company anyway, document everything that you do and pay them with a form of payment that you can dispute later, as necessary. Based on the reviews of so many, it seems that there is no simple recourse for anyone robbed by a scam company like this. A lawsuit is the only recourse, and I suppose that they count on the fact that most people will not go through all that trouble for something that is not all that valuable. It really is a shame. Bottom line: Find a reputable company to do your camera repairs. Don't become another one of Pro Cam Fix's many victims. read more

I told them i decided not to have my camcorder repaired and will pick it up within the week. Although I live far, I was around the area so i tried to pick it up after a couple of hours I called. I found this company on line and inquired about my Panasonic Lumix camera which had a broken battery door and replace top P.C.B unit. They sent instruction for packaging and filling out a form to include in the package. I did this. I received an email that they had received my camera and the repair cost would be $231, paid in advance. I'm not sure it happened, but PayPal grabbed my payment (I was going to use my credit card- wish I had) and I received an email acknowledging my payment, and saying my camera should be repaired and returned to me within 5-10 days. Helped me repair my canon g7x pro mark ii. I gave them a call and they gave me an estimate. I drove over and dropped it off on a Friday for their inspection over the weekend. Artur, the man who worked there, told me that they would have a final repair quote by the end of Monday. I received the quote through email and replied that I wanted it to be fixed. I got a call for confirmation for it to be fixed and repairs would be complete by Thursday or Friday. On Thursday, I got a call from Artur saying it was complete and I picked it up Friday.
