I broke the LES screen on my MacBook Air (which isn't mine) and didn't want to pay $600+ to have someone repair it. I found a comparable screen through DV Warehouse for $200. It was shipped right around the holidays and came quickly. It was packaged very well! I had to get through quite a few layers of bubble envelopes and tape, and the screen arrived in mint condition. Do not buy a used MacBook Pro from DV Warehouse. I bouught a used MacBook Pro from them 2 years ago. The price was good, but the problem was that when I purchased it, it was 9 years old, and close to the end of its useful lif, which they never told me. I paid about $400 plus tax, a little ove a year later, it would not come on, when i pressed the power key, I got the message Support.Apple.Com/Mac/Startup, I took it back to them & ended up paying them another $100 for a software reinstall, because it was over a year since I bought it from them. I was on vacation in Hawaii last November, and I had the same problem, I called them when I got home, and the problem resolved itself, and went back to working properly. They said I had 3 months on the software update, but it was working properly, until the same startup problem happened again today, again my being away on vacation, after several shutdowns & powering it on, again, the problem resolved itself. I called Apple, and they told me the shelf life of a Macbook Pro is not more than 10 years. I will not even call them any more, just go out and buy another, used, but much, much newer one with an OSX only 1 removed from whatever to newset version of Safari is. Just A Word to the Wise! Before I bought the MacBook Pro from DV Warehouse, I specifically asked them if there was any real difference between the cheaper one they offered to me, and a slighter more expensive one, but a more up to date OSX. They said I was fine with the cheaper one, which has caused me problems with it, due to the OSX Browser that was nearly 10 years old when I made the purchase from DV Warehouse. read more

I needed a few hard-to-find parts for my vintage Titanium PowerBook G4, including a display assembly. When I contacted DV warehouse asking for clarification on a display I saw on their website, not only did they send give me a full response, but they also searched their warehouse for the part I was looking for and emailed me photos of the exact one I would be purchasing. There was another small part I had asked about that they searched for, but couldn't find. Just after I placed my order they found the part though, and included it for free. My experience was a huge contrast from some other part sources that would only send single sentence responses, or cancel my order when it turned out they didn't actually have the part I needed. I searched forever for a MacBook pro part and every time I saw DV Warehouse pop up I said to myself "no... Find somewhere you can pick the part up. You don't wanna wait for shipping". Sooo stupid of me. I will never go anywhere else for ANYTHING Apple unless they don't have it. Not only could I pick up in person but online I was having a little trouble placing the order for pickup. I show up knowing I probably won't get the part today (my thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports were worn down from use so they wouldn't hold anything plugged in and it kept force ejecting my SSD's ) but NOT EVEN THE CASE IN THE LEAST BIT! I show up and not only do the have the dopest art I have ever seen hanging all over to look at while waiting, the customer service I got was probably the best I have ever received. I purchased an Apple Thunderbolt Display, used, a few months back that was working okay but started to make a quiet buzzing sound that got louder with screen brightness. I never got an email confirmation even though they said they'd send one. I got charged of course. It came about a couple days after I ordered it so relatively fast but the no confirmation or receipt kind of bugged me. Also I'm iffy about it being legit. It was so cheap and I wonder why but sometimes when I plug it in it sparks up a bit and the usb c side had like some glue or idk what on it so I had to clean it. Maybe it was a return. Kind of regretting it but they are so expensive for a regular price one and I needed a new charger since my sister stole mine. Apple would've also taken a whole month to send me one. read more

Okay, this is an easy one for me. I can proudly say that I have been a very happy customer of DV Warehouse since 2011 when I had to replace a G5 Mac which I had originally purchased new in late 2003. But when the original G5's motherboard failed, I first went to my local Apple Store to see if they could repair it (they were still supporting the G5 at that juncture). They quoted me $950 to replace the motherboard with NO WARRANTY!!! Seeking a second option, I did a Google search in an effort to get that machine back in business as I run a music production facility and needed it to continue running Pro Tools sessions for my clients (and I knew enough to realize that the system drive was still intact). Fortunately for me, that search took me to DV Warehouse - and their site showed a refurbished G5 of the same exact model as my failed one - and it was available for $289 WITH a 90-day warranty!!! Realizing that this was essentially a no-brainer and that they were easily within an hour's drive from my home in Orange County, I called them and then drove up to look at the machine. It delivered everything as promised (and then some) and is in fact still operating today! Since that time, DV Warehouse has been my first-call go-to source for all my Mac needs, whether it be accessories such as replacement batteries for our MacBook Pros or replacement computers, such as my very recent purchase of a 2018 MacBook Pro. As a very satisfied customer, I have referred them to numerous other people whose experiences have been very similar to my own. In conclusion I can only say that if you are in the market for a new Mac, I would seriously consider making DV Warehouse your first call as one of their late-model refurbished machines will likely fulfill the tasks you require - and save you LOTS of $$$!!!
