The Aerie & OFFLINE Store located at the Manhattan Beach Village Mall has been one of their top stores for me! I found the customer service from the clerk to be amazing. She was welcoming, warm, and willing to offer any needed assistance. She went out of her way to make me feel like anything I may need - she was there for it! I appreciate that the store was well stocked and had every size available in the items I was wanting to purchase. This was great for me since the size I needed is unavailable a lot of times in many stores. Best of all I was happy about the pricing for my items. Their stock is made of premium materials, so I understand the high tag prices, which is why I love it when they have great sales available. The store was clean and well kept. Music was playing at mid-level which made it easy to have a conversation without straining. There are no steps or curbs that would prevent handicap access. There are many handicap parking spaces available in the many parking lots and structures surrounding the mall. read more

I went to this Aerie & Offline store on December 3, 2025 to pick up an online order. I told the sales associate I wanted to try the item on. After seeing that it was too big, I let her know I didn't want to keep it. She told me she couldn't process a return and that I had to keep the item for 24 hours because she processed my purchase the moment I walked in as part of "company policy". She proceeded to point out that the sweatshirt was one of their "uncensored" items implying that this policy exists so customers don't "steal". But, she did not say this with confidence. She was looking all around, avoiding eye contact, which made me think this was really just "her" policy. I was forced to leave with an item I didn't want and had to make a separate trip the next day to return it at another location. When I went to a different Aerie to return the item I was told that was NOT company policy. Not sure if I will continue to shop at Aerie, mainly because the clothes run a little too oversized for my taste. But I definitely will not shop at this location again. My experience was much better at the Century City location and I was not charged for an online pickup until after I tried the items on and decided I wanted to keep them. read more

Apparently this store closes at 8pm, but if you look online and call their store it will say 9pm. What was worse is an employee saw me but chose not to acknowledge me nor answer my question. Extremely poor customer service as this could have easily been settled with "apologies our answering system and online hours are outdated." My recommendation to this location is customer service training and updating their call answering system and online hours. read more

Had a wonderful experience today with Isabel. She was so friendly and very very helpful. She suggested some really cute fits and signed me up for the mailer and I got 15% off my total. I'm a plus size girl so shopping in a store like this can be intimidating but Isabella made me feel comfortable and took the time to make me feel special. I ended up getting a really cute set and I feel amazing in it. Great store, great location, great customer service. read more

Terrible shopping experience! One staff member was getting a complaint about service while I walking in then the whole team talked rudely of the customer and just stared at me from the register the entire time there. Super weird and judgmental vibe from a bra store. No thanks! read more

The supervisor on the floor was so rude and unprofessional with a situation I was having with an item I was purchasing. When I asked her for her name she lied and gave me a fake name. She said her name was Ashley but her name was MARJORIE which I found out after asking other employees. Never going back! read more

Misleading customer service, I applied for the credit card there, the employee told me if I applied and I had informed her of my credit not being so well, she claimed that she would still give me a discount what it would be, and she changed up the story of saying I would not get the discount I was gonna spend around 150. I spoke to the manager about it and she told me that she couldn't do the discount something about getting it in the mail they could refund it and give me a discount, but the main part why i was so upset what because it was false advertisement. I went to eat and I just decided to return everything. I said I would not be returning to this location because of all of that drama, Aerie please do your customers a favor, I worked retail for 11+ years please hire employees that's really want to help the customer out, not people that just put our shipment and not help the customer, theses days people go to work and get a check and they don't care about the customer, I also submitted a complaint with the company and they never called and I wanted to either have them sent me coupon or something else for this horrible instore experience for now i'll just shop on the website and I intend to avoid coming here due to the reasoning listed above, so upset with how I was treated very poorly as a customer and I've been shopping at American Eagle since I was 13 and now i'm 32. please do better as a company and as a in store experience! I love this clothing line. They use a high amount of cotton in their clothing which feels so much better than all of the polyester type garbage that most clothing lines now use because it's much cheaper to produce. Their cotton underwear are so soft and are much healthier to wear. I only wear their underwear. And their jeans are so soft and flattering. The people who work in their stores are so sweet and so helpful. read more
