I have made several purchases from their fine jewelry collection over the last 18 months. Most of the visits have been pleasant and the staff is mostly nice. The store is nice and clean. The prices are reasonable. The parking is relatively easy. I have referred people to this store as well. They have super cute items- so it's an overall nice store. The star shortage is not a reflection on any-one staff. But, a disappointment on the "policy" on how things work (are handled). Short story: purchased piece of jewelry. They offered to engrave it for additional charge. Promised time was 4-5 days. We agreed. 4-5 days went by and we didn't get the promised called to go pick-up. Called them on day 7 - and they said to give it a couple more days and they would follow-up and get back to us. Nobody got back to us. Now is day 10 and still do not have it. It turns out that on day #9 they sent us an email saying they couldn't do the engraving. We are now at the store because we just want the piece of jewelry we paid for back even if it is not engraved. They tell us they don't have it there (it's in the engraving department) and we need to wait until the following week ... although we all know (because we saw when we first purchased) that they have more (of the same exact product) right there in the store. The nice lady there (young) tells us she has no authority to make the decision to give us one from the drawer (right there in the store) - and she calls someone and she is not able to get anyone on the phone to help her out to help us. She tells us that NO managers work on weekends (today is Saturday). She is desperately trying to talk to someone on the phone and nobody has authority to authorize for her to give us the piece of jewelry back. They have nice comfortable chairs... so we seat there while she goes to the back to keep on talking to someone. She comes back and her eyes are red from crying and it is obvious that she is upset. Nevertheless, she is very professional and tries her best to give us the best customer service. She suggests that we buy the same piece of jewelry again and then on Monday we get a refund for the one that is being held hostage today. She arranges for the lady in the phone to talk to me. The lady on phone directs us to send an email asking for a refund. The nice young staff person at the store steps away and while the lady on the phone was trying to be helpful too. Unfortunately, the lady on the phone tells me the same story: none of Gorjana's decision making personnel works on Saturdays. Wow! This is Awful! I feel sooo bad for the nice staff that it's left with no support when they need it. So, we agree to purchase the same piece of jewelry again with the understanding we would get the refund from the first piece on Monday. That was the only way for the staff to give us the piece of jewelry without getting in trouble. Then to our horror... they had the same exact product in several sizes, but they were out of the size we needed! The lady was super nice. She got on her computer right away to find which of the other stores had it. While we waited another staff lady offered us something to drink. It was nice and cold. She called the other store on the phone. She had them put it on hold for us. She wrote down the address for us. By the time we got to the store that had it, it was ready and it took all but two seconds to pay and walk out of the store. I am trusting we will get the refund on Monday. read more

I will start off by saying I like their jewelry. I've gotten a lot for of gifts here for my GF, but I think the last one will be my final purchase from them. I got a nice gold bracelet that after a month started to fray, went to return it and it was discontinued (I assume because that was a common issue), my girlfriend was told about a small gold chain bracelet that had a letter on it. She wore it two times before it must have broken off because it is so dainty. We called but they "don't replace lost items" even if they make bracelets they can't handle simple wearing. Will by the last time we spend that kind of money for products you have to look to make sure are on just for wearing them. read more

LOVE their products but had a TERRIBLE experience with their store manager Cheryl. We have spent thousands of dollars here but will not be giving them our business unless something changes with their management. I went into the store several weeks ago after purchasing a bracelet a few days prior. The other girls on the floor have always been friendly and we have had no issues until this point. There was a malfunction with the bracelet I bought and when I came in to get a replacement, not only was I refused the exchange, but Cheryl was incredibly rude and undermining from the moment I stepped into the store. I have noticed this behavior before when she talks to her associates but never thought a client would be treated the same. It's a shame that a quality store is so poorly run. read more

I visited this store for the first time today. I called ahead to find out where they were located because this mall has changed so much since the renovation. I also asked if I could exchange a purchase I made in error online and was told "bring it in and we'll see". I found the response odd considering Gorjana has the same service level as Nordstrom. It is true five star customer service (until today). I was immediately greeted by a young woman when I arrived which was great. I got in line to exchange my necklace and was pulled out of line for assistance on the side (also fine). I pulled the items out and started explaining what I think happened with my order. She asked if I called earlier and I told her yes. Clearly she wasn't listening because she looked at my receipt and said "this order is right". Well duh, I knew that which is why I asked the question when I called and just explained I must've accidentally ordered it twice because one was already in my cart instead of the one I thought so I ordered it again. I told her I wanted to exchange one of them for the one I wanted AND I wanted purchase another one. You'd think I was speaking a foreign language. It was so uncomfortable when I clearly just wanted every Aries necklace they had. I didn't think my request was that complicated. I honestly did not feel welcome by her at all. I have ALOT of Gorjana pieces. It's the only brand I wear. I have been shopping them for years. I have never felt this way in any of their stores. I've shopped Laguna and Fashion Island and never did I feel like a customer of no value like I did today. I typically brush things off and keep going but since I likely wont return to this store I felt it necessary to share my experience. I will continue to shop at Century City where I ALWAYS feel appreciated and welcome. I don't recall her name which is why I didn't mention it but this 2022, I should be able to shop any store regardless of the prominent race in that area. I am very disappointed with the quality of the items that are sold here. I was gifted a beautiful ring from my cousin on the day of my wedding which I only got to wear once as the band just broke it half when I was typing on my computer at work! This was not the only expensive piece of jewelry that I had from here that was a piece of crud! I was gifted a really pretty pearl bracelet for my birthday and it didn't even last on my wrist! The bracelet came off and is lost forever! I am not upset with this store in particular but their customer service is seriously lacking, I went into the store with my bestie who had to exchange a turquoise ring because one of the stones fell out (not shocking because the quality is crap) to which she was told by store associate Lily that they actually recalled the ring she had purchased due to quality of the item and lots of customer experiencing the stones falling out. One would think that if there was a "recall" of sorts on a ring that was purchased from their store they would have sent an email to their customers that purchased it asking them to come and exchange or letting them know that their item was defective! Well in this same conversation I mentioned that my beloved pearl bracelet hadn't even lasted on my wrist before coming off somewhere to which the associate replied that she had heard of that happening with those bracelets!!!! COME ON! If you know your items are defective why are the customers not receiving an email to let them know? The jewelry isn't cheap. I was encouraged to email into customer service since the associate had mentioned this happening to not just me but others as well, well customer service was less than helpful, and although I didn't expect them to offer a refund possibly offering a replacement would have been nice! I have purchased many items from here for other family members as gifts, and also for my best friend. I will never purchase another item from Gorjana. They are over priced and their jewelry doesn't last! If you are looking for beautiful gold pieces check out Mejuri, you can get almost the same items for less cost and they do not tarnish or break and disappear forever. read more
