If you are interested in watching her show, go to her website and select the dates you wish to go. She has 2 shows per day. You can sign up as many shows you like per week. Please plan to spend at least 4 hours per show. After you arrive at the parking lot, you will check in with the staff. Staff will hand you number for queue line. They will guide you in once they are ready to take the audience. Majority of the audience were all out of states. You will then wait again in the studio. It is the same studio Ellen show used to be. You can purchase Jennifer Hudson items at the gift shop area while you wait. Make sure to bring snacks or eat prior to coming to the show. They have vending machines outside the venue. I had a great time and enjoyed the being part of the show. I also attended other channel shows in the 80s and 90s. It's something different and for fun.

I…read morecome from a family of Disney fanatics and grew up watching all of the classic Disney movies. Walt Disney Studios is the largest film studio in Hollywood and the fifth-oldest in the United States. This 51-acre lot in Burbank is the corporate headquarters for the Walt Disney Company. Walt Disney Studios has prominent film production companies that include Walt Disney Pictures, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm and 20th Century Studios. This campus and the Disney animated movie making process were featured in the 1941 film "The Reluctant Dragon". I tried to do this tour before the Covid fiasco, but they cancelled all touring for a couple years after the pandemic. When I recently became a D23 member, I got an offer from them to check out this tour after they brought them back. Of course my crazy Disney family members were jealous of me. I had a fun time exploring the place where so many of the great Disney movies were produced and made. The tour lasted a few hours and we were able to shop at the Disney store located on the premises after the tour. "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" was the first feature-length animated film for Walt Disney in 1934. The success of that movie financed the construction of this studio lot. The tour included seeing many of the soundstages, the Disney Legends Plaza (honoring those who have made a significant impact on the Disney legacy), the Team Disney Building, the Frank G. Wells Building and the original Animation Building where many of the classic animated movies were made. We even got up close to the iconic Disney water tower. My favorite part of the tour was seeing Walt Disney's original office and being able to hold one of his many Oscar awards. Going on this tour is a must for any Disney fan if you want to see where Disney magic is made. I really enjoyed my relaxing afternoon here at Disney Studios.

A nice revelation to find out such a cool museum complex in the heart of Burbank!…read more I found out about Burbank Historical Society pre-pandemic and never got around to visit it. But I checked their site and noticed that they re-opened, so we went to check it out as a Valentine's Day activity in a Sunday. The museum is oopen only Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 4 pm. I would call to make sure it's open before you go, this was the first weekend the place was opened in 2022! Plenty of parking on the street and private lot. The museum is near George Izay park, so there are many options for that. There are a couple of docents working, they came to you from time to time to give you more information and guide you around since the buidling is bigger than you'd think! Very nice people at the front desk, you can visit the museum for free, can leave a donation if you can. The museum has a bit of everything: history of Burbank and the city developped, with many photos, maps, information. A bit about industries that made Burbank a home, like Lockheed Aviation, Disney Studios and NBC. So you have plane models, stories about Amelia Earhart, lots of memorabilia and fun props from Disney, NBC and Debbie Reynolds who used to be Miss Burbank. Cool trivia! And lots of private collections on display, automobiles (they rent them for movies or parades), pottery, train sets, old wineries and Burbank's agriculture and farming on display, old restaurant signs from the area, a bit of everything. The place is keeps going on, so you need 1-2 hours at least to tour it. It is fun, educational and entertaning! There are many restrooms and you'll barely see any other visitors! Great place for locals to learn more about the area, could be fun to being visitors, as a off the beaten path attraction. Cool for all ages! Wonderful museum complex, check it out, we had a very nice visit and we'll return!

We saw that there was a play called Jane Austen Unscripted being held outside the theater in back of the building. 8 of us decided to go and got a table just in front of the stage. It was lunchtime and local stores and restaurants provided some munchies, one per person, like fruit tarts, berry scones, a cupcake and cucumber tea sandwich. When reading the "program" we saw it was going to be improv with members of the Impro Theater, and as we've been to improvs before we know that it can be great or not so much. We, and every table at the show, thought it was a fantastic show. The actors did a great job that had us laughing and enjoying it to the 10-star degree. We understand that there's a bit of a different show based on the actors and audience response, but our show was great! It's still playing for a little while so if you can and like Jane Austin and improvisation definitely go see it!

From a design perspective, Ave. Six offers me the ability to created unique designs for my clients by providing what I call a "great foundation" to build on. For example, the wood plank floor in the East Stage would cost $1000's of dollars to install in a raw stage. By installing sets on this ready made floor, I can put my clients art budget towards other design elements more critical to their project. This also holds true for larger sets when I need to incorporate their standing set walls into my designs. Ave Six has great logistics (location, parking, truck space, easy load-in) They also have an exceptionally accommodating and wonderful staff whose goal is to help productions in their work, not hinder them. For example, on my last shoot there I was allowed to use Ave. Six backdrops in my designs from one of their stages not rented by the production company because it wasn't booked by anyone else. Ave. Six Studios is a great, unique stage facility and an invaluable resource for Art Directors looking to deliver the most for their clients. I would (and have many times) recommended them without reservation.

The studios aren't very big but they are functional. One studio has a U-shaped Cyc wall and an overhead lighting grid and the other studio has a basic lighting grid as well. Practically every inch of this place is straight out of your Pinterest aspirational decor board. Even the bathrooms are gorgeous (gold toilets, I kid you not)! The exterior walls are instagram worthy as well. There is also a secure gated parking lot with direct access to the studio for easy load out and they have equipment and even some set pieces that you can rent. In addition to being beautiful this studio is CLEAN. The bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is clean, the Cyc wall is flawless, etc. There are makeup stations with lighted mirrors though they are a bit short, better suited for talent doing their own makeup than for a makeup artist to use as a station. TLDR; this studio is beautiful, classy and functional. If you have clients that you want to really impress then this is the space to rent for your photoshoot or event.
