I asked for deep tissue, and she must've taken that as a personal challenge because WOW. This wasn't a massage, this was an exorcism of knots. Andrea's hands were like tiny sledgehammers sent straight from the gods of relaxation. She found tension in muscles I didn't even know existed -- I think at one point she was negotiating peace treaties between my shoulder blades. Now, don't get me wrong, it hurt so good. That perfect combo where you're thinking: "This is slightly painful... but if she stops, I'll cry." By the end, I felt taller, looser, and about three stress levels lighter. Pretty sure I left the table speaking fluent dolphin. The spa itself? Super calm, smells amazing, and has that soothing music that makes you wonder if you've accidentally wandered into a yoga retreat. Add Andrea's superhuman strength and skills, and you've got a winning combo. I sprang for a "journey" package which included a few things that I will outline below: 90 min Higher Realm CBD Massage - Dale was fantastic. They made sure I was comfortable and communicated well through the process. It was a bit more movement than I've experienced for a massage before but found it really quite enjoyable. Aura Photography Reading - Lex was kind and listened to what I had to say and used both that information and my photo to dive in deeper to my life. Obviously it's all a little "woo woo" but there are certainly learnings that can be taken from it. I love card readings because they help me critically think about things. She was great and I would love to come back and see if and how my reading changes in 6 months - 1 year. She seemed very knowledgable. Infrared Sauna - This was the part I wasn't very excited about but it was super pleasant. There are different options that change the temperature and the run time of the sauna. My cycle was for "pain relief" which I found to be hot but not to the sweating point. Included was a CBD gummy as well as a glass of kombucha. No way I can afford this on the regular, but I would totally return for special occasions or once a year as a lil treat.

There is an online booking option which can be daunting but easy to navigate. Parking: there is a row of parking spots at the entrance of the Spa, which only has a few spots. I luckily had one spot open when I arrived. Would recommend coming a little early to the appointment to ensure you can find a spot. Greeting/First impressions: when you walk out of the elevator onto the third floor, you enter a calm, green, serene entrance. When you walk into the gift shop, there are many beauty/skin care products for sale, bathing suits, a bar, and health snacks available for purchase. The greeters in the front checking you in are nice and go over all of the spa rules and give a tour. Amenities: you first get fitted with clean slippers to use throughout the spa area, the slippers are nice and warm. Then you get a plush robe to go with it. The locker rooms have large lockers, towels, skin care, and hair care products along with rain shower bathing areas. There is a himalayan salt sauna room in each of the mens and womens locker rooms. There is a eucalyptus steam room (it gets HOT!), a hot therapy pool, and cold plunge available for use. This is available to anyone who has access to the amenities pass (any service over $100). There are menus with drinks and snacks available to order, this can be brought to you while in the pools or the relaxation room. There is also a small rooftop area to relax outside. Massage: I got a deep tissue massage with Aura. I typically ask to have the shoulders worked on the most, but she hit trigger points in even the smallest muscles in my hands and feet. Her hands are truly magical - would recommend booking with her if able! Checkout: check out was simple and quick, you pay at the end of your visit. They even gave a little parting gift of a thank you note and a sample anti inflammatory dark chocolate for the ride home. Overall, the bang was worth the buck!

She asked a lot of questions about what I was looking for, gave me options to choose from, and even priced me out before getting things started. That was really appreciated by the way. She sold me on a membership type deal where they collect $50 on a monthly basis and add it to a "bank" that I can use for services in the future. It pretty much adds up over time until your next visit and then it doesn't feel like as much of an expense when the time comes. I've done this at nail salons and can confirm it's a nice thing to have. For this trip I went with some wrinkle relaxers, aka botox. It had been a hot minute since the last time I got it and it was a breeze. Pain free to the point where I hardly felt it. My results came in within a week or so and they're great. I definitely plan on continuing so I can maintain some youthful skin as I age. I have no doubt that I'll give their other services a go in the future. I was never expected to function as well as I do today and it is all thanks to the more holistic health care I get with Modality. Aimee has introduced sound bowls and sound tuning forks that produce sounds and vibrations that reduce inflammation and help to calm my brain from sending bad messages to muscles in my body. It is truly a gift to have calmness restored in my body without resorting to medications that are toxic to kidneys, liver and other parts of the body and additionally I have no side effects that cause discomfort either! Aimee has taken the time to explain the process, help me to acquire tools that allow me to then be able do some therapy on myself between sessions. The one different aside from Grandview being larger than Dublin is that Grandview didn't offer champagne prior to the massage like Dublin does. The lighting was dim, it was beautifully decorated, the couches and chairs were super comfy with the warm blankets, and there was tea/coffee/water/trail mix to enjoy prior to my massage. Ashley did a wonderful job on my massage. She made sure to ask me how much pressure to do, and if there was anywhere I needed her to focus or anywhere I didn't want her to focus. My "deep tissue" massage was more of a Swedish medium tissue massage - I still had tension in my right calf (I get Charlie horses here sometimes and it flares as I work long ER shifts) and my back could have been worked out more. The massage itself was not worth the mark up and there are other spas that have better pressure & a significantly cheaper price. Left feeling like the massage was not worth the price and slightly disappointed.
