I felt uncomfortable here. I came here after I had purchased a treatment on Groupon. I was first put off because the waiting room was dirty. The treatment turned into an uncomfortable and forced sales pitch where Dr. Solomon insisted I need to purchase more of the product (which I don't), similar to what you experience from someone at a kiosk at the mall. Only after this did I find that a lot of other reviews on Groupon said the same exact thing. read more

WOW. I love this office. I have been searching for an office in the Thousand Oaks area and have been disappointed every time I was looked at just a $$$ sign. This office changed my viewpoint. The doctor and his staff took the time to actually talk to me in such kind and humane manner that you have to be blind not to see that they really do care. And to top it all, the level of knowledge about not just teeth but the whole head and neck along with the muscles was enough to make me want to know more about my dental problems. The new Dr. here is just amazing... He just took over the office and I am so thankful for finding this place. I recently moved to West Lake and needed a new dentist. One of my front teeth was chipped and I was very self-conscious about it. Whenever I talked to people or smiled, I always felt like they were staring at my shipped tooth. I decided that having moved across the country, I wanted a fresh start (including a new smile!) I am very, very picky about dentists. Sometimes it can feel like a truly wonderful dentist is one in a million! I needed a dentist that was honest, NOT painful, affordable, and that had a great bedside manner. I looked around different dental offices in the area, but this office was so kind and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Sid made me feel like I was his most important patient instead of rushing on to his next patients. Best of all, his dental work is AMAZING!! He fixed my chipped tooth and it looks so natural and just so pretty!! I never knew I would be so enthusiastic about veneers - but I just had to write this review because I had such a great experience. I came here with my mother on a Wednesday. My mother had purchased a groupon for both of us for 20ccs of Botox. This was my first time getting Botox, so the idea of having a needles in my forehead was quite unnerving. So, needless to say, I was nervous. The Dr., was super nice and cool. He made me feel at ease. I had 4 different needle pricks in my upper forehead, and it didn't hurt at all! I can see how people get addicted to this. After 4 days I started to see results. Dr. Agassi and her staff are amazing! She is very gentle when cleaning and uses an ultrasonic water-pick device which is a lot more comfortable than the regular metal picks many dentists use. Her staff is very friendly and welcoming while still being very professional. Every time I've seen Dr. Agassi, they've never been running behind so it seems like they have their scheduling down perfectly. read more

I made an appointment with this dentist over a month ago because of his high ratings on this site. What a mistake! He may be a good dentist but I don't care because his customer service is terrible. I had an appointment for 11:30 and got there about 11:20. I was given a medical history form to fill out, and that took about 5 minutes. Time for my appointment, right? No. I sat there for 45 minutes reading a 2 year old National Geographic, while twice, a different person told me they were "preparing" a room for me. Meanwhile, 4 other people came and waited only a few minutes until they were seen! I went and stood by the desk while one person was on the phone and another was on a computer.  The one on the computer completely ignored me. When the other got off the phone, before I even spoke, she had the audacity to say: "I understand you're being impatient."  IMPATIENT?!?  I sat there for 45 minutes waiting. That's the epitome of patience. They obviously don't care about customer service.  I need a lot of dental work done, so they just missed out on an opportunity to have a long-time patient. read more

Two years ago I decided to invest in new veneers because the old ones had some space between the gums and teeth. I picked Dr. Agassi because of her focus on aesthetics. I really was making an investment. I expected to pay between 4,000. to 5,000. When she met with me she convinced me that I should upgrade to 7,000. for (?Volcom) which was a thinner and translucent yet stronger material. As much as I didn't want to pay that much I did want a natural look that would last. I am permanently traumatized by the shots she gave me in mouth under nose area between lips and gums were violent and horrible! I was willing to go through this for better looking teeth. She put on temporaries, and I wasnt too concerned about their appearance because they were temporary. When I went back for the permanent veneers I was in shock. They were not my teeth. Not only were they a wierd glowing yellow but they were shaped unlike my teeth. When I got veneers as a child they were molded to match the shape of my teeth. She didn't do this and my teeth were gone so I can never have teeth again that match my originals in shape. Even polite people were shocked and told me the teeth looked horrible. I went back and even went to the lab to see if they could match color and make shape look more like old teeth. They improved color but my teeth still have a odd shape. Now one of them has broken! I just paid off the 7,000. and the strong material I paid more for has broken. They also were not transluscent or natural looking. She has not returned my call. read more

I have to agree with AJ and give Aesthetic Dental Group a negative review. Not only was I pressured into multiple root canals and crowns - The work was not even done properly (I'm in more pain now than before the work was done). Also, my insurance denied her claim due to insufficient evidence that the work needed to be done. On some occasions she attempted to bill my insurance more than once for the same service. I have since switched to a responsible dentist who says my original teeth (not the fake ones I paid Dr. Agassi thousands of dollars for) are in great condition and that Dr. Agassi had taken advantage of me. read more

Dr. Agassi was recommended by a friend who works in the dental profession. I'd had very painful dental procedures in the past and dreaded going. My friend recommended Dr. Agassi at Aesthetic Dental (not the dental office my friend worked for.) Dr. Agassi's office was calm and relaxing. My dental procedure was painless. I've been a patient since 2004 and drive a good distance to get there. (I drive all over L.A. for the best care.) Referred my partner next, who was terrified of dentists. Since going to Aesthetic Dental, my partner no longer needs anti-anxiety medication before a dental appointment. Referred another friend to Dr. Vahadi at Aesthetic Dental for extensive oral surgery. The procedures were handled with the same high quality of care. I take health care very seriously and don't give out references lightly. The office is pristine; the environment relaxing. We receive the best of care. Both dentists are skilled, caring professionals. In the past, I'd felt pressured by "car salesman" dental offices. I didn't get a sales pitch from Aesthetic Dental at all. For dental or medical care, I highly recommend asking around, reading a lot of reviews, etc. Receiving poor health or dental care is not like getting a bad hair cut at a salon. It's your health. Really research before you go. For family dentistry and oral surgery, I travel 50 miles each way. Totally worth the drive. read more

I hate to give this negative review since the staff was very nice, the office was clean and fashionable, and Dr. Agassi actually did a good job cleaning my teeth. The reason for my 1 star is for blatantly trying to take advantage of me as a new patient and of my excellent dental insurance. I am diligent about my teeth, getting them cleaned every 6 months, xrays every year, brushing twice a day and flossing every night, flouride treatments as a kid, and drinking lots of water. So, I was SHOCKED when she said I had cavities that needed to be fixed right away. I told her my old dentist had a couple areas he was keeping an eye on. She said no way...they are absolutely cavities and need to be fixed immediately. What I didn't know until I was making my followup appointment is that I needed to fix a whopping 5 cavities spanning 2 appointments!! WOW! How does that happen? This is serious! ...either my old dentist in Montecito wasn't doing his job or Dr. Agassi was a bit, shall we say overzealous. I called my old dentist, Dr. Scarcello . He was on vacation, but his partner, Dr. Downen, who's been practicing for years and sees my mom agreed to see me. I couldn't wait for Dr. Scarcello to come back from vacation, since I'm trying to conceive and didn't want this work done while pregnant. First, they could not read the digital xrays Dr Agassi had done...too fuzzy! Dr. Downen redid the digital xrays for FREE. He confirmed my suspicions...I only had one definite cavity and one that was borderline that had mild shading...both needing to be fixed according to Dr. Downen. NOT 5! He fit me in right away and fixed the two. I asked about the others Dr. Agassi said were cavities. He said one area is just being watched since it is NOT a cavity and will be fine for another year! (the other areas are clear) I have it in writing. I will now stick with my old dentist and do the drive...well worth it for the honesty I obviously wasn't getting from Dr. Agassi. read more
