I developed some blood clots and substantial pain in my arm. Without me feeling a thing, he opened it up and repaired it all. This past few weeks, I had a swollen lymph node beneath my ear drained in a local hospital - a simple procedure - and apparently the doctor punctured a vein and it swelled to three times the size it was when I came in. For two weeks I was in agony as it continued to swell while the hospital staff said "nothing we can do. It will heal eventually." This after CT scans, MRI's, everything. The swelling pressed on my ear canal, my jaw, and I looked like Quasimodo. I went to Keith Denkler in excruciating pain. In 30 minutes he drained 13 cc's of dark blood and relieved the pain - I hardly felt anything as he did it. The next day he drained another 13 cc's - and over the weekend, the massive swelling in my jaw continued to shring to 1/4 of the original side. He did it all with little or no discomfort. I've been able to work, sleep and avoid pain meds - none of which was true for over two agonizing weeks. This is a doctor who cares who knows, and should be teaching the others how to do this work. While I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of a facelift I was open to anything. Dr Goodman was so open and honest about all my options and actually suggested that a facelift was not the best choice. Ultimately she recommended filler to smooth out my sags and wrinkles. The filler lasts about 18 months, is much more cost effective, non invasive and is a natural substance. I will tell you, the procedure took less than an hour. Dr Goodman did the procedure herself and was absolutely meticulous. The results are amazing and I could not be happier. The office doesn't open until 9 but I was booked for 9 am and knew I had to come in a little early to sign the medical documents. The very kind receptionist was happy to see me at 8:50 am and helped me to sign the documents. She kindly brought me water while I waited for the esthetician to be ready. My consultation with the esthetician made me feel cared about as she took in my skin concerns and products I use. Sometimes during this process at other spas, one can feel judgement for their personal routine but she was so kind and genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good routine. She had excellent techniques and my skin was so clean and hydrated. She did give me extractions that I was nervous about but I know I needed it, she had the perfect touch to my skin as she was trying to make it as painless as possible for me. At the end she gave me some recommendations for my future skincare and I hope to see her again soon so she can reassess my skin again. Overall I had a great experience and would love to book again.

I've been trying to get multiple issues with my account resolved for over two months, and it has been incredibly frustrating. I've had treatments disappear from my account, had to repeatedly follow up just to get someone to address the issues, and have had significant difficulty getting appointments scheduled. When I raised the account issue, I was told I could monitor my remaining treatments in the LaserAway app after each visit. These are treatments I have already paid for, and I shouldn't have to monitor my account to make sure they remain properly credited. I was also specifically told I would be scheduled with one of their most experienced nurses, and I drove farther to the Novato location for that appointment based on that information. Instead, I was given a nurse who had been with the company for less than a month. I'm not saying she did a bad job--the issue is that this was not what I specifically requested and was told would be arranged. What's especially disappointing is that when I started looking at the recent reviews, I realized I'm clearly not the only customer experiencing these issues. There are numerous recent negative reviews describing problems with communication, account/package issues, scheduling, and customer service. Unfortunately, my experience has been very similar. I've spent a significant amount of money with LaserAway over the years and was once a very happy longtime customer. It's extremely disappointing to see how much the customer experience has declined. I've tried repeatedly to resolve these issues directly, but after more than two months, I'm still having to chase answers. I would strongly recommend considering other options before purchasing treatments or packages here.

Her referrals are that specific. Also, the doctors she refers to are not just skilled in their work, but are also open, receptive to their patients, kind, humble. I have also benefited from the after care services with Michelle when she helped me through a recent difficult surgery. She helped us to get access to better pain relief, made soup, helped with bandaging and organized a list of drug store needs that helped me to feel better fast. If you are investing ongoing with cosmetic needs and/ or considering a big surgery, I recommend working with Michelle. It is ultimately the best use of your resources to make sure you are planning strategically and have a coherent plan, and a good team to support you along the way.

2 stars - Disappointing and concerning experience…read more I really wanted to like this place. I try to support local businesses, and I hadn't heard of this one before, yet it popped up in a search and looked promising at a time when I thought I would try somewhere new, given the staff turnover at Laser Center of Marin. When I arrived, I was surprised to be the only client there. The owner mentioned she was a registered nurse, but there was no doctor on site, and she had to get approval via a video conference before proceeding. That already felt a bit unorthodox and uncomfortable. The actual procedure was, unfortunately, where things really went sideways. I'm someone who's been getting Botox or Dysport regularly for about 30 years--usually 1-3 times a year. In all that time, I've had one tiny bruise, at most the size smaller than a thumbtack, on my forehead after a treatment. After this treatment, I left with two noticeable bruises on my forehead--one of which ballooned into something nearly 20x larger than anything I'd ever experienced and was about half to one inch long. I contacted the clinic as soon as I got home. They recommended taking ingestible arnica, which I did diligently, several times a day, along with icing the area. The next morning, the bruising and swelling was worse. I've also asked twice for copies of the digital documents I signed as a new client, and despite giving them alternate email addresses, I've yet to receive anything. That lack of follow-through, combined with the strange approval process and unexpected physical trauma, left me deeply uncomfortable and has me concerned the person who administered the treatment was not certified or qualified to do so. I truly wish this had been a better experience. But based on what I encountered, I wouldn't return, and I can't in good faith recommend this business. I also believe regulatory oversight may be warranted--something about this setup didn't feel right, and I should never have ended up with this kind of damage to my face with an experienced practitioner.
