Dr. Mohebali did a great job on my breast reduction. I always thought it wasn't affordable, but I was surprised at how reasonable his pricing was after a free consultation. I had an estimate for almost double from another place. I didn't have any drainage tubes and my incisions healed beautifully. Anya his PA asked for photos of what I wanted my results to look like. I had my Enbloc removal in January of 2019, by Dr. Mohebali and he was truly so comforting and skilled in his work. My questions were always answered honestly and his staff was so sweet and quick to get back to me with every concern. My nerves going into surgery were through the roof, although every part of me knew my implants were making me ill, the unknown of it all was very scary. So, far so good. I had a breast reduction yesterday. I cant say enough nice things about Anya the Physician's Assistant. She goes over every detail precisely. The only thing I wasnt expecting was drains. I am day 1. Yes the incisions themselves hurt. But, they put a block into your breasts for them to be numb for 36 hours. They really are numb but the incisions hurt. It is so hard to understand the concept. I was a 44 DD. I am hoping to get to a C cup. I can tell there wont be any cleavage anymore. This surgery was for medical reasons. I have had a previous cervical spine surgery. All the nerves in there are severely pinched. I have a spinal cord stimulator for the neck and shoulder pain. I was 32 years old and diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma of my right breast. I was devastated to say the least. As my team of doctors came together, words like chemotherapy, mastectomy, and reconstruction all were thrown out and I was caught in a whirlwind of testing and appointments. Flash forward 3 months and as I was nearly finished with the brutal chemo, it was time to evaluate options for surgery. I was given the names of two plastic surgeons who worked with my surgical oncologist and wow(!) did they have different styles. The doctor I chose was the one who exuded compassion, confidence, and above all, he explained the reconstruction process slowly and calmly all the while making eye contact (not easy when you are staring at someone who is completely bald with no eyebrows or eyelashes). Through his creative thinking, he saved me from having an additional surgery to replace a punctured expander (an accident that occurred at the hands of my surgical oncologist). It caused more work for him as he had to expand me at twice the rate he would usually but it worked! He was attentive, caring, and was always there for me when I had questions and concerns. He also treated my partner with the utmost respect and patience as she was there for every appointment with me. His results speak for themselves and I am very happy to say that his work has helped me feel whole again. In a very short span of time I nursed my mother to her death from breast cancer, received a breast cancer diagnoses, had a lumpectomy with radiation and then later a positive BRCA gene diagnoses. My next treatment plan was for a double mastectomy. It was an incredibly sad and frightful year. After the the BRCA diagnoses I just wanted the ticking time bombs gone! That was my focus. I was searching for a PS who would not treat me like I was insane for wanting my implants removed without replacement. I found that with Dr. Mohebali, Michele, and Edna! They were supportive of my theory that my implants were causing my current health issues and made me feel comfortable the entire time I was in their care. I'd had my under-the-muscle saline implants for 18 years and was ready to say goodbye, but needed them removed en bloc (including the capsule tissue). Dr. Mohebali not only did the en bloc procedure, but he made sure I was able to take the implants and the tissue home with me because I wanted to have more in-depth testing done on them. He also sent out some tissue for pathology and bacteria/fungus testing. In addition, I don't believe in using pharmaceuticals whenever possible and he was understanding of that - he didn't push me to take pain medication. I was grateful to see that they support the use of homeopathic Arnica Montana before and after surgery, and that they understand that nutrition plays a huge role in our health. Dr. Mohebali was able to determine that I did not need a lift (I would be going from a C cup to a AAA cup) even before we scheduled the surgery. I was compelled to write a review for Dr. Mohebali after an unexpected accident and what seemed like a nightmare at the time- was turned into a wonderful experience. I ran into a medal pole that was hanging from the back of a truck and immediately started bleeding. I panicked when I realized I would have a visible laceration right between my eyes. I'm so thankful I was able to find Dr. Mohebali. I wanted to get my 5-year-old breast implants removed en bloc (capsulectomy). Other doctors didn't believe that implants can cause illness (breast implant illness) but Dr. Mohebali did and had performed this surgery many times. Dr Mohebali is a kind, joyful, serious, reassuring and excellent physician whom I was lucky enough to discover when I had a serious burn on my arm. Unfortunately I spilled quite a bit of hot olive oil on my arm over a weekend.I was in excruciating pain and quite concerned that I would be maimed for the rest of my life. But my main concern was that the wound might be Septic as by Tuesday it seemed to be infected. Fortunately I was directed to the Advanced Wound and Burn Center in Kentfield. The minute that Dr Mohebali examined my arm and told me that he could alleviate the pain , heal my infection and take superb care of my arm so that it would not scar, I was able to relax. Over the course of a few timely visits, the magic bandages and clear care directions from this most able and gifted physician , enabled my arm to heal and to look and feel almost as good as new again. Being an honest doctor, Dr Mohebali Reminded me that it will take some months for the scar to completely disappear because it was a serious second degree burn. I do not think that it will be that long! I am tremendously comforted by the existence of the Advanced Wound and Burn Center in Kentfield where Medicine is practiced with the most sophisticated kind of Bandages and care designed to ensure relief and alleviate suffering. I wanted my 11 year old breast implants out due to some health issues. Specifically, I wanted a procedure called en bloc with a total capsulectomy to ensure the implants AND the all of the capsule surrounding the implant was removed. I had several consultations with other plastic surgeons in California, as well did a ton of my own research. I can honestly say that Dr. Mohebali is the absolute best. I did not have the easiest case. On the operating table, he discovered I had silicone on my ribs, and a small amount on my left lung. Not only did he get EVERYTHING out of me, he made my breasts look great as well. They are now more symmetrical and my scars are right under the crease of my breasts. I really did not want to have to get a lift, which is what another recommended surgeons swore I needed. Dr. Mohebali insisted that I wasn't going to need one. He was right, and I'm so happy I followed his advice. This man is a miracle worker and I cannot speak highly enough about him. I contemplated posting to keep my identity private, but this is the most personal review I have ever posted and likely ever will post, but I think that it should be known just how amazing Dr. Mohebali is as a physician. We all have vanity problems and as we age it becomes worse ... but definately I have a corrugator supercilii (I totally had to look up that spelling) muscle problem or a "frowning" muscle problem. I use to have a permanent vertical line between my eyes which my daughter would say I looked angry all the time!! A dear from of mine I knew at the time referred me to Dr. Mohebali. From what I knew before going into the office is that botox is costly. Dr. Mohebali uses the botox in a super cost-effective way by targeting just want you want to relax and using just enough. His pricing is competitive with everyone else I have used, but his treatment was exceptional. It's difficult to trust people with your face and obviously I am no plastic surgeon to know what I need. Dr. Mohebali explained everything thoroughly, he explained the different muscles we have, what happens when one is weakened vs. Not weakening specific muscles to obtain the perfect relaxed look. The radiation caused the right breast to form a capsule all around the breast and harden, causing it to be uncomfortable, limit range of motion and look deformed in comparision to the right breast. My breast cancer surgeon recommended Dr. Mohebali. I live in Rohnert Park and he is in Corte Madera. I immediately asked if I could see a local Santa Rosa doctor. She said there are none who can compare with Dr. Mohebali -- especially in dealing with problems relating to post-cancer issues. I visited Dr. Mohebali and felt immediately comfortable with him and his entire office staff. They made my husband and I feel as if our concerns really mattered and Dr. Mohebali and his nurse, Gina, took the time to explain to us the issues and recommendations. Dr. Mohebali even stated that there is no guarantee that the scar tissue will not return and that he would not know the extent of the reconstruction until he actually performed the surgery. I was sent a booklet explaining the entire process. I was given complete information about my costs and what Medicare would cover. It was done thoroughly and professionally. I was encouraged to contact the office with any questions. The entire staff, including Edna the receptionist, were very knowledgeable. The surgery turned out to be quite complicated with a rupture of both breasts. Any silicone leakage was carefully removed from the right breast; the left leakage was confined to the capsule, perhaps because of the scar tissue. The pre and post-surgery was done in a very professional and calm manner. My husband was fully informed of everything by Dr. Mohebali. Recovery had its usual discomfort, but Dr. M. and his staff were available every step of the way either over the telephone or in person. I had weekly visits until Dr. M. was assured that all was well. He prescribed necessary medication to ward off infection and assist any sleep problems. The number of visits exceeded what was originally anticipated, but Dr. M. obviously had my interests and recovery as his focal point and was not concerned about how long it took. I was actually saddened to leave and stop seeing the wonderful group of people we dealt with. I am not perfectly symmetrical on both sides but I never expected absolute perfection. When you have had cancer and radiation, it is difficult to make both sides absolutely symmetrical. I am very happy with the results and I feel Dr. M. represented everything perfectly. My husband and I would recommend Dr. Mohebali to anyone needing reconstructive surgery. I am honored to say this on his behalf. read more

I cannot express the extent of my gratitude to Dr Mohebali. He first treated me in the emergency room the day before Thanksgiving in 2011. I had fallen and had significant lacerations on my face. A year later and no one can tell I was injured. Not only is he exceptionally skilled (and a perfectionist -- a good attribute for a plastic surgeon) but he is compassionate. He made me feel calm and comfortable. I saw him again this October for a procedure that I had wanted for over 20 years but was always afraid to pursue because of the invasiveness of surgery.
