This review has been long coming.. I just get lazy. I had my glass replaced in 2017. The gentleman who came out was quick, courteous and communicated with me throughout the who ordeal (they had to come from an hour away to do it). At the end of 2017, there was a fatal car accident in that vehicle and the whole front end of that car was demolished. The glass was completely intact and wasn't cracked at all. I was amazed. This company states first come first served- NOT TRUE. Three women were waiting for 45 minutes before the opening time of 8:00. Yet, when a bully of a man ducked into the door before all of the women, he was placed first in line while all of the women waited. Despite being told otherwise, the staff did not correct the order of service. It does not even matter how great of a job the technicians do when the customers are not treated fairly. Although scheduling was easy and showed up on time, repair on my 2019 Challenger was incorrectly preformed. Ended up having to drive to shop and have the repair done again because it wasn't properly sealed the first time. If I hadn't paid the premium to do it at home, I wouldn't say anything, but it was not worth the premium to do it at my home when repair was incorrectly done and ended up having to drive all the way to the shop. read more

When my wife's Q5 finally got a big crack from a (fixed) star, she did not want to drive around with it even though it was not in her line of vision. I called five different places getting quotes. Affiliated was $100 cheaper than the next place. Pretty much a no-brainer, especially with the good reviews they had. They asked for one day notice to get the glass. Brought it in at 8a.m. They called me at 11 and had it installed and the sensors calibrated for the auto windshield wipers. Now my go-to glass place. read more

Horrible place. Was recommended to get my windshield fixed here when it was shattered. When I received my car back everything looked fine but internally was not. There was glass inside my hatch door which was NOT cleaned or disposed of. This ultimately led to my trunk latch motor breaking and trunk not closing at all. When I called to tell them this they denied it and refused to pay the thousand dollars it was going to cost. This was a mistake make by them in which they should have paid for due to their lack of work. Do not come here. They will do a half ass job and leave you to pay for the mistakes they made. read more

Took in a small pickup (driven by a student at school) for a replacement windshield. Price and timing were right, but the windshield leaked air and water. The college student didn't tell me. I noticed when I got the truck back. Affiliated grumbled that I waited so long (never mind the warranty) and insisted I schedule an appointment for them to add more sealant. I've had multiple windshields replaced elsewhere in the past and this was the first one to have an incorrect installation. Taking another vehicle to another shop, I emphasized the need for it not to leak and mentioned this experience. The other shop inquired, "let me guess, the shop on the circle?" I said nothing, but it's clear Affiliated isn't the place to go for a great first time windshield replacement. read more

The windshield of my 2019 Subaru Outback had an unwanted meet and greet with flying debris from a utility truck on I-35. The cracks did not interfere with my ability to drive, but the cracks propagated further daily. The earliest appointment I could make work at my Subaru dealership was 2 weeks later. My dad recommended AAG from word of mouth and online reviews. From first contact with AAG, it was a breeze. We called to order the windshield on a Monday and it arrived to their shop the following day, I believe. I originally made 9am home install appointment made, but due to risk of rain, I opted to cancel this appointment and go in person on a first come first serve basis. Doors opened at 8am, and I arrived at 745- thinking I was an early bird. The 5 other already-waiting costumers were clearly savvier than me. Office doors opened sharply at 8, and after we all filed in line, I was handing over my keys the front desk within 10-15 minutes. It's in a great location off "the circle" and I walked to Magnolia House for breakfast (which I also recommend!). I think most of the waiting customers did just that too. Rudy's and Health Camp are also around the circle and are easily walkable from AAG, so it's easy to wait without feeling stranded. My car was ready about 1 hr 45 min later, with a beautiful new and calibrated windshield. They transferred all my stickers (oil change, registration, tx toll) for me- I felt silly for having ordered a new toll tag, thinking i would lose it. The new windshield and calibration came out to ~$560, much less than I was expecting. The mark up at the Subaru dealership had me prepared for easily double that. I felt comfortable and well informed from check in to check out! Hoping I won't need more windshields soon, but I know where I'll go if I do! read more

Had the roof of my old truck repainted a few weeks. Today I decided to take to the car wash and my windshield pretty much flooded. Turns out the guy that painted it removed the glass seal and didn't properly put back. Took it down to Affiliated and not only did they fix it right away, they refused to charge me. Great customer service. I've had my windshields replaced with them in the past and this is why I will never go any place else! read more

Been doing business here for over 25 years, have had multiple windshields replaced and several windows tinted and have never had a problem. However, from now on I will never use them again nor recommend them. It's just not very professional when the owners son, Lenny, calls you liar and says it's not his product when they are all I have ever used. I called and lodged a complaint and the manager didn't have much to say because it was the owners son. Needless to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere and, it's not because the product failed, it's because they are very unprofessional. This is not the story of a perfect, no problem windshield installation. It is the story of a windshield replacement that left me recommending Affiliated to family, friends, and strangers. I called Affiliated about my windshield that had a crack on a Wednesday. They quoted a very reasonable price and instructed me to bring it in that Friday. They replaced the windshield and I was on my way. However, my windshield has a rain sensor and something was off because the sensors were going off whenever I started my car. I called Affiliated. They were extremely apologetic and asked me to bring it back in the next morning. They made an adjustment and I was on my way. Then it started happening again. I called back and again they were apologetic and asked me to bring it in the next morning. I did and the problem is fixed. I was not upset about having to take it back in, because they were always apologetic and friendly. Affiliated always took ownership for the sensor issue and I appreciate that level of integrity. Got my windshield replaced on my F-250 and noticed after that it was a lot "noisier" in the highway after they replaced it. Called and they said bring it back in and they would check it out. I recently had my truck door window replaced. They were reasonably priced and easy to schedule an appointment with. However, the quality of service was sub par. They completed the job with the window, but left glass from the broken window all in the window sill and in the door. Also, when I received my truck back, it was in 4 wheel drive low. Not sure what reason they had for driving my truck around in 4 wheel drive at all while on paved roads in waco. Wouldn't return and for a window replacement in the future. read more

Been going to Affiliated for years to have my truck tinted. Literally driving hours to have them do it rather than going somewhere closer or cheaper. After my last experience I will not be back. I exchanged emails, with who I thought was the owner, turns out it was the guy working the front desk. I asked for a quote on having some tint stripped and re-tinted. He gave me the quote and I asked if it could be done on a Saturday, he said yes and to be there early. The following Saturday I arrived a half hour early and was told that what I needed done could not be done on a Saturday because it was too much work and they would have to turn down other customers. He also told me that it would cost $50 more than the original quote he gave me. So I went on down the road and found another business to give my money to and will send others there as well, just as I did with Affiliated, before they pulled this. read more

I recently hired their mobile service to replace the windshield in my truck. They replaced my broken windshield with ANOTHER cracked windshield the first time. The replacement had two cracks about 5 inches long coming from the edge on the drivers side. The second time they replaced it, I went into their shop, they made a HUGE mess of my truck. My truck is my baby and I am meticulous with it. They got the black glue that they install the windshields with, all over my paint, my dash board, the plastic interior sides, and on my UPHOLSTERY. There are permanent black markets on my seats now. They attempted to clean the driver side seat and used some chemical that only made it worse and the seat foam is not shaped the same anymore. It is extremely noticeable, not just little black dots of glue. The workers were friendly, but the office staff was very unprofessional and the manager was rude when I talked to him on the phone. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

VERY pleased with the pricing. 2006 Ford Mustang windshield replacement with logo, BEST price I could have expected. (I did call around and James Auto Glass was almost double!) Affiliated pricing was very reasonable. When I called to make the appointment, Brandy was very professional and applied the coupon that was advertised that I was not aware existed. Appointment was made for a three hour time block, 1-3 PM, the next day at our home. Michael was very professional and personable. He called as a courtesy to fit us in earlier that day but it did not work for our schedule so we agreed to keep the 1-3 time block. He was able to make it by 3:45 and was done by 4:15 PM (recommendation: for service calls to your home try not to be pressed for time, in a hurry or have an appointment/engagement scheduled immediately after. Garbage. Had them come out and replace my windshield on my 2011 Volvo XC90 R-Design. This is the first XC90 they worked on and screwed up completely. I let them know there was a leak after they replaced it. They returned and found two pin holes on the lower left and right corners. While removing my cowl, they broke the retaining clips. They came out again to replace the windshield since it was a crappy job the first time. After telling the manager three times that they left off my rain sensor, and it needed to be replaced they failed to bring it out with them, so no fixing the windshield still. As I took my car through the car wash this morning, a waterfall poured in from the top left corner. FML..I called them and said they need to seal it today until they get my rain sensor, clips for the cowl, and replace the windshield. Don't go with them ever. My brother in California is a NGA verified and certified installer. He let me know they cut corners to get as many cars done as possible. Don't f***** do a job of you are not going to do it right or take pride in it. .. read more
