I initially went in two years ago for toe pain. I was basically told that I was wearing the wrong shoes and maybe if the pain continued, they could prescribe a topical steroid. But the issue should resolve on its own. Multiple shoes and two years later, I still have a problem. This isn't the main issue. I was going back for an appointment, and through unforeseen circumstances plus a lot of traffic, I was running late. I called them five minutes after my appointment time to let them know that I was running late and that I would be there in a few minutes. (I could not call earlier because I was driving and needed a solid red light to look up their number.) I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled and the doctor was no longer in the office. I asked when they were planning on letting me know when the appointment was canceled and I was told that I would have been informed when I went into the office. Because I was a few minutes late, they assumed that I was not coming in, and the doctor left for the day. I get that appointment times are for a reason and it's important to be on time. People's time is valuable. A phone call from the office would have gone a long way to actually see if I was still coming in. I think that it's hilarious that I am expected to not be late, but it is perfectly fine and reasonable for me to be kept waiting for an appointment. This happened both times I was in the office. To see both one of the doctors, and a shoe fitting specialist. (The shoe fitter was an epic waste of money, by the way.) I completely own being late. But how it was handled is honestly horrible. The doctors aren't good enough to make up for what the front end is lacking. They seem to have forgotten that customer service is important. That means that sometimes you need to give people a grace period to get into the office. Or at the very least, call to confirm if you're still coming in read more

I would advise anyone with insurance to go elsewhere. As soon as they knew I was a medcare/medex patient the attitude changed. I did get the custom inserts, handed to me by a young woman while I was in the waiting room, I was on my own after that. If they do not want "old people" business they should not accept the insurance and be upfront about it. I came to see Dr. Lee after sustaining an injury from playing soccer and had no problems scheduling an appointment. The admins were so pleasant throughout, from the phone call to the check-ins/check-out. After taking some x-rays, I was told I had a fracture. Dr. Lee was extremely professional and thorough and took the time to explain the extent of my injury and instruct me on what to do while in the cast. I had follow up appointments every few weeks and each time was smooth sailing throughout each appointment. I really recommend Dr. Lee if you are looking for a foot specialist. read more

I had a wart on the bottom of my right foot that I was unable to eradicate on my own after trying all the at-home remedies offered by pharmacies. After my regular doctor was unable to resolve it over the course of a few more months, she referred me to a dermatologist. After 6 months of treatment, the wart was not getting any smaller so he referred me to a foot specialist, Dr Johann Entinger. Dr. Entinger told me up front that it would take two to three procedures over the course of a few months. He performed these procedures around my schedule so they would not interrupt my quality of life and was successful in getting the wart to disappear! In this case, my third doctor, Dr. Entinger, was the charm! . I would recommend his services to anyone! read more

Very bad scheduling service -- I scheduled an appointment, making initial contact through the web form which included putting in my phone number, I was called asked for my number again, and it was verified. I wrote down the date and time of the appointment - and told I would get paperwork in the mail which never arrived. The day before my appointment I called to reschedule, and I was told that it had been the previous day. They claimed to have called me, and then told me my cell phone number which ...well the area code was right but nothing else was. It was weird, given the online form and previously verifying it but I wanted to move my appointment anyway and figured this was fixed going forward. The next appointment was in 2 weeks. I was told to bring my paperwork (I requested they resend it to me). A few days later I received it in the mail along with a card for the new appointment time. I put the appointment time in my calendar and scheduled time off of work. When I showed up for my appointment, I was told that none of the doctors were there and that they had called me to reschedule. They never called me, I have caller ID on cell phone and can see missed calls. On the plus side, they now had my correct number listed but they had not used it. The woman at the desk told me, "Oh well, your appointment is listed as 'rescheduled' in our system, let me check the new date... " and there wasn't a new date. My best guess is that when they moved the appointment over the first time, it was marked as rescheduled. When it needed to be moved due to the doctor's absence, that note meant they thought it had been. The receptionist barely apologized. I was mad as hell as I wasted hours of vacation time over this but I rescheduled the appointment to another week. I figured I would cancel it if I could find another doctor who had openings before that date. 3 DAYS AFTER the appointment with no doctor there, I received a letter from the office indicating that I would have to reschedule that appointment since the doctor would be out. The date stamped by the Post Office on the outside of the mailed envelope was the DAY BEFORE my appointment. There was no way a letter sent that late would arrive in my mailbox in time for me to see and do anything prior to that date. So the office sent me a notification that would never have reached me in time to be meaningful. At this point, I had an office that hadn't called me and instead of it being a mistake in how the calendar item had been entered and overlooking that I needed to be notified (which admittedly mistakes happen, and while it's not great, I could eventually get over), the office had instead *known* that my appointment hadn't been changed and that I didn't know that there was an issue. I should have been notified prior to showing up. I didn't find another doctor (but I didn't try hard, and now wish I had), so I went in for the next appointment date, once again taking time off of work. The good news was that I did have my appointment after all of that. I waited for almost 40 minutes in the waiting room prior to be taken into the back by the nurse, x-rays taken etc. Then I waited some more until I got to see the doctor. The exam with the doctor was in the 5-10 minute range, he went over my x-rays and medical history, and offered me the choice between expensive custom orthotics and Superfeet orthotics which the office could sell me there. The nurse came in and asked if the doctor had explained how to break in orthotics (he hadn't, so she did). I bought my orthotics and I have not been back since. The doctor was fine and seemed like a pleasant enough guy, but the office staff just seemed not to care. read more

I would strongly advise you to look elsewhere. I was recommended this office by my primary physician. I had to have my toenail removed and a mass sent to the lab to ensure it wasn't cancer. I found the doctor to be careless with blood spilling everywhere. Afterwards, I was sent a bill by the laboratory. They didn't have my insurance and I was marked as a cash patient. When I called the office to share my feedback it's their responsibility to share my information if they're going to outsource my care. They took zero ownership and attempted to deflect the problem elsewhere. Honestly, if healthcare is going to be run as a business, I strongly advise you take your business elsewhere! read more

Could not recommend Dr. Lee more! I had been having some bad foot pain, most likely from landing funny after jumping to hit a smash while playing tennis. Dr. Lee was very meticulous in running tests to determine what the problem was, and in explaining my injury and the process to fix it. I've had bunion surgery on both feet in the past 4 years done by Dr Lieke Lee. I cannot say enough about the complete procedure. She explained the problem and the repair fully, and was very clear and accurate about the recuperation from surgery. I have complete trust in Dr. Lee and highly recommend her to anyone who is suffering from foot pain. I also have to mention that the staff is very pleasant and professional. If I could rate zero stars I would, lousy service. Scheduled an appointment and when I showed up after taking time off from work, they tell me there are no doctors there to see me and I'll have to reschedule. No calls or messages sent to let me know in advance, even though they had all my contact info. Receptionist could not have cared less. Thanks anyways, I'll go somewhere that appreciates my business and treats me with respect, plenty of other options around Boston, I would suggest anyone seeing this review do the same. read more
