Wish I could give zero stars. Seriously. This woman has no business dealing with patients. When I asked her what my options were for treatment of my foot pain, BESIDES the $500 insoles she kept pushing to sell me, she actually said "I don't have a magic wand" Yeah, um.. too bad, cuz that's what i was looking for!? How about some medical advice? Are you not a dr.?? No bedside manner whatsoever and just plain rude! If you have a foot problem, I suggest you go elsewhere. I went in for a ingrown toenail. I was super nervous about the procedure but Dr. Wexler was awesome! I would highly recommend her to anyone. She was so nice and was knowledgeable in the procedure and made me feel way better about the whole thing. The only part that was uncomfortable was the shot to numb my toe, but that's due to my fear of needles. The procedure itself was painless and quick. She was so nice and accommodating. She saw how nervous I was about the shot and adjusted my seat to lay me down and kept conversation to distract me. I'm so thankful I found her as a podiatrist. read more

I had a surgical procedure on my toe, which took almost a year to see the results of regrowth, by that time she wanted to charge me for a follow up visit. She's all about money, way overcharged me for my insurance portion and had to refund it. I wouldn't recommend. read more

My ingrown toenail removal has basically ruined any chances of having nice looking feet for the rest of my life. Dr. Wexler did not explain to me that the procedure would eliminate half of the natural nail and leave me with a very small, uneven, jagged nail that is nowhere close to resembling the one on my other foot. I can't even fix it with acrylics because the skin has grown attached to the nail, leaving no space in between the nail and skin which hurts and also looks repulsive. I had to spend $200 on a gel nail kit and UV light so that I can literally create a new toenail. This procedure has been nothing short of a nightmare and I will have to deal with this for the rest of my very long life. Thanks Dr. Wexler! read more

I saw Dr Wexler this summer when I was at my wits end . I had developed a perineal tendinitis of my ankle since April . It was not improving . I attempted to make an appointment with MGH podiatry , but they were not able to see me until mid August . Dr Wexler was able to see me in a week . I was very happy with her care and professionalism . She was able to get me into a pair of custom made orthotics . They were pricey , but they made a tremendous difference . If you have a flex spend account , the orthotics will be covered . I stand on my feet all day and the orthotics worked well for me .Through her care and treatment , my problems with my feet resolved ! read more

She needs to update her office which is filthy and in need of a major renovation. Patient chair is not being wiped off between patients, equipment is old, rugs in the operating room, waiting room are disgusting. She doesn't care if she runs behind in between patients for more than half an hour, and then she is in a rush to get you out of the exam room. The only thing she was really good at was to collect the small copay ahead of the visit, asking at least 4 times if I had brought my check book. read more

I was so happy that I went and saw Dr.Wexler. She was extremely knowledgable, friendly, and helped to solve my issues going on. If I ever have another problem or know anyone that does, she will be the podiatrist I reccommend. She is fabulous !! read more

I visited Dr. Wexler today for the second time in a few years and always, she was very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend her to my family & friends! My visit was painless (thank god) and nothing serious like I thought, but she did fix the problem. She is always willing to listen to my concerns and make sure that I clearly understand the problem & most importantly, educates me on foot issues. I don't seem to understand the negative comments/reviews, but I hope everyone's experience in the future is as good as mine. read more

I would rather go to Dr.Kevorkian than see this mean spirited condescending woman again. I went to see her for plantar fascitis, and all she would treat me for was a non painful wart, that I never had an issue with. She used painful, expensive treatments on it and made it into a problem. It eventually went away with a cheap and painless over the counter cream, while she never wanted to deal with the original problem that brought me to her. She is also one of the rudest people I've ever met. read more

Like Angela, I wish I had zero star, or even negative star. This quack has no bedside manner. I went to see her and was a little nervous. I sat lightly on the part of the seat where you are supposed to put your feet on. Instead of politely telling me to sit in the right part of the seat, she told me how much it would cost if I broke it. Then I started to explain my toe problems. Before I was finished, she decided she heard enough and just went to trim my toenails. I was uneasy about that. I tried to show this quack 2 of my toenails which are thicker than the rest and suggested maybe it has fungal infection. She just ignored me. She just cut all my toenails and did not even examine the thick toenails. I made the mistake of letting her take her clippers to my toenails. She clipped too much of my toenails, more than just the part that was growing out, and cut some skin too. It didn't really hurt at the time, but probably because the clippers were sharp or something, but I can definitely see that the tips of my toes are more exposed now. She then says all of my toes looked fine. I now realize that she trimmed waaaaayyyyy too much of 1 of my toenails. She cut past where it normally grows out. Weeks later, it is still not growing out normally (other nails are growing out slowly). It is somehow damaged. Wish I could sue her, but there is no way for me to prove that she did it. I still have a little tingling, itchy, and achy sensation of where she cut it. I kept insisting that I have an unexplained rash on my toe. She said that it was my shoes. So, I put on my shoes and she felt around to see the fit. She admitted that there was enough room in my shoe for my foot. The shoe is not too tight. She said my feet and toes were perfect with nothing wrong. I insisted there is a rash and tried to show it was a little red. She just said it could be normal pressure from the shoe...end of story. It was pointless arguing with her as she clearly did not want to recognize that there is a problem. I also asked this quack about my 2 thick toenails and if those were signs of fungal infection. She said no and my toenails were normal. So, I told her that my PCP did a lab test on the thick toenails and they determined that there was fungal infection. She just dismissed it and said there is fungus in everything (basically saying the lab test was dumb). This quack was dismissing ACTUAL tests ordered by another DOCTOR and done in a lab, without looking at any lab report or anything...unbelievable. Then this quack told me was that I have no ingrown toenail. It is like she only knows how to deal with ingrown toenails. I NEVER even mentioned ingrown toenails to her. The only reason she kept bringing it up was because my PCP might have mentioned that to her. On the new patient form I filled out for her, I never mentioned that I a problem with ingrown toenail. She brought up something (ingrown toenails) that I did not bring up and there was no sign of and ignored everything else I was telling her. Anyway, towards the end, I refused to simply accept her nonsense answers and she became impatient. She decided to write out some treatment just to get rid of me, after she said that my toes and feet are perfect. As she walked over to her desk to write out the treatment she kicked my bag (on the floor between the examination room and her desk) out of the way (you can't really accidentally kick someone's bag sideways as you are walking forward). NOT COOL! There was more than enough room for you to sidestep my bag, but you chose to kick my bag out of the way. So, this quack gave me treatment for sweaty feet and some prescription-strength stuff for my perfect (her words) toes. It just doesn't make sense. I then asked her why some of my nails feel a little brittle. She said because my toenails are thick. I asked her which nails are thick and she said ALL of them. Seriously, really? Are you kidding me? Never even asked which nails I think are brittle. Never bothered to look at my toes again. Just sat at her desk hoping and waiting for me to leave. I was being very nice and polite to her when I asked her questions (she is the doctor after all and may be able to help me). She just had this "I'm the doctor, just listen to me, accept my answers, and stop questioning me" attitude. This quack said all these things to me without even pointing to my nails. She obviously didn't know what she was talking about and kept repeating the same script she probably tells everyone. I told her that one time I had a toe infection and my PCP gave me antibiotics and I got better. She then lectured me why it is bad to take antibiotics if it is not a bacterial infection. No shit, Sherlock! This quack is incompetent and dismissive. I basically paid $265 to be mistreated by this quack for 20 minutes. This experience was HORRIBLE! I am definitely worse off having seen this quack. read more
