Extremely annoyed and disappointed that offices continue to screw people out of more money. He SUPER down to earth and does a thorough physical exam. I have been suffering from thyroid symptoms for about 4 years. Been to several doctors and none of them could help me. My symptoms got to a point where I thought I was dying. Was having heart palpitations, EXTREME hair loss, excessive fatigue, random sore spots and bruises on my body, vision issues, rapid weight gain, anxiety off the charts (couldn't get more than 4 hours of sleep to save my life)- you name it. None of the prior doctors could tell me what was happening. And after a while, I believe that they started to disregard my complaints- EVEN after I did my research and TOLD them what I thought was going on. Dr. Launius LISTENED to me- and for the first time in years I didn't feel like the doctor thought I was crazy. After he completed the physical exam- he pretty much assured me the help that I needed. He also said that he would get my hair to stop falling out (as it was falling out by the handfuls- and was so bad, that for a moment, I actually thought that I might have had cancer). I know- an ignorant thought, but paired with the way that I was feeling in addition to the hair loss- that is the mindset that I was in. THE NEXT DAY... his team called me with the results. Sure enough, my levels were low. I got the prescription and was felling better by the end of the first month. Dropped 10 pounds almost immediately. I'm currently in month two- and guess what? For the first time in 4 years, I was able to comb out and wash my hair without any of it coming out. I'm ecstatic! I know hair seems like a small vain thing to most people, but when you start to lose it, it really messes with your confidence. My hair is pretty thin now, and is way shorter than it was 4 years ago- but at least I can now see light at the end of the tunnel. I'm excited for progress and my new hair journey. To top it all off, I feel great. I've never appreciated my health more than I do now. I'm so thankful to have run across Dr. Lanius- a REAL health professional. Just referred my mom and best friend who are having many of the same symptoms. If you are possibly experiencing issues with your thyroid, PLEASE.. go see Dr. Lanius. Dont waste years like I did- risking your health, weight, and hair. Wish I would have discovered him years ago. I LITERALLY feel like he saved my life. This is the second time we have been to this ER and had a terrible experience. The first time they…read moredidn't know what to do about a jaw issue, and the doctor came in and told my girlfriend she had herpes, that's why her jaw was locking up. Come to find out, after making an appointment with a dentist, she has TMJ. I'm not sure how the two are even remotely correlated, so we wrote it off. Fast forward two months, we came in for an infection she is having, and they hold her up in the waiting room telling her that she should go to an urgent care, and tried to convince her that her insurance provider will not cover it. The staff informs her it may be a 1-2 hour wait to get the tests results back from the Dallas Lab. After I recognize they're being lazy, and don't want to treat her, I start to clarify that they said insurance wouldn't cover it. I put my phone on the counter to make it seem like I was recording what they said, and evidentially they said "oh we didn't say it wouldn't cover it, we said it would be more expensive". What? Moving on, they decide the insurance will cover it, and they need to check and see if they have the medication to treat an infection. You are a whole emergency room, and you're telling an undiagnosed patient you need to check on medication? These are the front desk girls! Eventually she goes in the room, and there is a whole roach on the wall. (See photo). They forget to take her temperature, even after asking if she's had a fever or any fatigue. They leave the thermometer on the tray right in front of her. Keep in mind, we are the only car in the parking lot, so there's not any other walk-ins, and they are certainly not busy. We noticed about 10 minutes after there was a shift change happening.

This place is the absolute worst. A friend referred me here, but I wasn't able to see the doctor…read morehe's been seeing for years. I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.
