Service repair deserves 4 stars. This 1 star rating is given to ADT's phone customer service. Rude, pushy account representative. She talked over me during our conversation elevating the volume of her voice as I tried to ask questions. She was condescending and annoyed. Out of necessity, I repeated the phrases "Cancel" to what ever question or statement made by this overbearing Rep. Cancelling is an adventure and will try your patience. The absolute WORSE system we've ever had!!!! Doesn't deserve 1/2 star. Had the same sales woman that we had when we signed up for ADT. Naomi S. After our 3 year lease program with ADT ended we call Naomi, who we thought was a friend, to see what new products that ADT had to offer. When we got ADT we agreed to a 3 year lease where after 3 years of monitoring all your alarm devices would be paid for. So made the call to Naomi S and she was all excited that we called and she informed us that she didn't work with ADT anymore but now worked for AIS. So Naomi came over and we were told that AIS works just like ADT did. She asked what we wanted and what extras we wanted ie: sensors cameras, etc. We agreed on a price $30 cheaper than ADT, and she had me tap this and tap that on her tablet. Explaining what each page was about. Next day all our upgrades were put into place. GREAT, huh?? NO!!! About 10 days later my wife was checking our checking account online. There was a charge from a Pinnacle Financial for $24.99. So we called Pinnacle to see what all this was about. That's when we found out that we had been scammed by Naomi!!!!!! NEVER did she or her brother tell us that this involved a loan at 10%. But she did tell us that this worked the same as ADT where you rent to own and our payment of $64.99 covered the monitoring and the equipment that we had at the time. Seems she neglected to tell us when I was checking the boxes that she told me to that we now have a loan of $3,280 at 16% interest for 63 months!!!! We're both senior citizens with a small pension and social security. This has affected our life tremendously!!!! We no longer can travel to see loved ones in Massachusetts. We no longer can enjoy our golden years because of 1 person whom we thought was a friend but turned out to be a back stabbing thief!!!!!!! read more

Today I had my ADT system installed. Customer service as excellent and everything was installed in less then 24 hours. My installer was Dominico, he was very professional and courteous. He made sure I completely understood my new system and how everything worked with all of the smartphone apps and capabilities. He did not rush and really took his time. ADT far surpassed my expectations with the equipment and services provided. I will definitely be referring them from now on! Thank you! read more

Terrible terrible customer service. I Spoke to the supervisor of cancellations (Amber) she yelled at me, spoke over me constantly, wouldn't let me talk and then She told me I "needed to take a step back" and that I needed "to educate myself" then put me on hold. I was not rude or mean in anyway. I just tried to finish a sentence. I tried to get someone else to speak to me because she wasn't the right person, but I didn't get one. She was actually screaming at me. The call wasn't recorded, but if it was, she probably would have lost her job. She was so mean and terrible! I have never seen customer service this bad in my life. Do not use this service! I am a young teacher in the community and have always been kind and respectful to people who work with the public, and this woman was so disrespectful and should not be in customer service. I've heard from other people they were terrible and they pad their reviews with good reviews to give themselves high stars. I wish I would have never signed on with this company and instead believed the people around me. read more

Very friendly and professional! I was shown how to use my system and everything was explained in detail. They didn't have one of the cameras due to the storm but said they would return to install as soon as it came in. This should take place in a couple of days. read more

My salesman that sold me my system, Ted, wasn't particularly knowledgable, which resulted in my installation agent, Steve, having to make multiple call backs for additional equipment. Steve was great about explaining the options we had available for our home security and really helped us select the ones that were right for us with our dogs and living habits. Ted told us that ADT would be able to use our existing hardware to provide coverage for our windows as well as doors, but one look at the state of the existing hardware was enough for Steve to warn us that it likely would fault constantly, and in the few hours he was setting up our system, my fiancé and I decided to forgo the existing hardware because it was already having so many problems. Ted could have saved Steve at least an hour an a half by giving us a realistic quote on capabilities rather than just trying to push the sale. read more
