It was very clean and spacious with multiple options for dining, sitting on a porch or reading corner. I'm a pastor who has visited dozens of retirement facilities and while many/most of them feature the same calming colors, bulletin boards and wide hallways, this place strikes me as one of the best for safety, care, and community.

The facility is clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The food was delicious, nothing like most institutional fare. The nursing aides were compassionate, friendly, and attentive. Nursing staff and doctors were very helpful and patient with our questions and concerns. The therapists were simply the best! They were able to help my mother overcome her fears and quickly begin working to build her strength, skills, and confidence so that she could return home safely. I am so thankful that we were able to go to Salemtowne, and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

It is a gated community and you must pass through a gate and a security guard to get in. There are lots of activities for the seniors here and they keep them busy and entertained. The staff is very hospitable and caring with all the residents. They make you feel welcome and warm. The area is maintained and landscape is always on point. I would love to live here when I am older.

They advertise lab services on site. NOPE! When I suspected UTI they said they would do labs "later that night" and results would be back "sometime next week." He could have been dead by then.

This man was walking, driving, going grocery shopping before this place touched him. He was also able to get up with assistance to go to the bathroom, and was told to use the diaper that he was put in because the night nurse didn't want to do her job. Please find another facility and do your research. This is not a good place for anyone! I would give negative stars if I could
