Repair man came to fix my ice maker leaking water. Changed valves. We told him the ice machine that he just installed has pieces hanging down. He didn't even look at it. After changing valves it didn't need he left without even looking at the machine inside. Leaking right away. Very arrogant man. I asked him why he didn't look at the machine he said it's new. Still not fixed. Called Lowe's again. Now he refuses to come because he to embarrassed that he is so in a hurry that his work is subpar because he won't look to see if he's got the job right. Came to fix my mother-in-laws dishwasher which he ordered a part for. Got very snarky and rude saying he could not get the dishwasher out to put the part in and that she would need to rewire and redo some plumbing before he could replace the part. When all he had to do was move the stove to get to the back of the dishwasher. I mean really!! His name is Frank and he is very rude and then even charged her 98.00 for a service fee and didn't do a darn thing. Shame on them for taking advantage of a senior or anyone for that matter. Deserves zero stars. Frank, the owner apparently is very rude and lazy! He expects the customer to do all the work in providing him every bit of info and basically diagnosing the problem on their own. Then he came out and refused to fix my dryer because he has to pull it out or move the dryer. He said that was my job to do. I am not a repair man, don't know how to disconnect appliances which is why I have had Lowe's install both and I bought the warranty. He claims to be a professional appliance repair man but said he doesn't know how to disconnect a dryer. After we waited 2 weeks he just told my wife he wouldn't touch it and walked out. I have left 3 messages for him and he refuses to call me back he just hides behind his secretary who refuses to give out his cell number, after reading all the reviews I can see why. He is a lazy asshole and he hides from his customers, if he gave out his number he would just get yelled at all day by customers he fails to assist nor treat respectfully. read more

The owner came to repair our fridge under a Best Buy contract. We were told he would wear a mask while in our home because a member of our home is very high risk for Covid19 and other illnesses. He took the job. My husband took the day off work. He arrived and when my husband asked him to please wear a mask he refused. He wouldn't even discuss it. He turned on his heals and left. No apology. Nothing. This was one of the most disrespectful, degrading, and unprofessional experiences We have ever had with anyone. Ever. This person has absolutely no respect for others. Maytag set them up to repair my warrantied dishwasher, this guy(Frank) demanded that I take the dishwasher out full myself with everything still connected before he would come and repair it. Then I told him it's not possible it leave it all connected because the electrical cord wasn't long enough, he told me he couldn't help me then and that I should "make it longer". Like WTF,he wants me to get an electrician to rewire, then me to do half the work for him? Loser even has his business closed on Google to prevent further bad reviews. read more

My elderly mother needed service and they refused to help her because she didn't purchase her washing machine from them. Even after Maytag told them to take care of her they again refused. If you look at their website they are all nice and caring sounding, but that is all a front for POOR Maytag customer service. Maybe people would buy from them if they were actually about service. If you didn't get your appliance from them don't go there to get something fixed.. First part of December my Kitchen Aid refrigerator stopped working. Called warrantee company to get fixed they sent me to Affordable Maytag. First person that I talked to was Frank who was not friendly because I didn't get the refrigerator from them. They loose to much money from warrantee work. I heard that so many times I lost track. They only signed the contract to do warrantee work to take care of there customers. Told that by 2 different people. They did come out to look at my refrigerator after making me jump throw hoops. The control panel on the out side was broken and the compressor was out. Panel was a easy fix while the compressor was not. Panel was fix if a few weeks time. Compressor how ever still is not fixed. Called Affordable Maytag today January 31 2017 and was told that parts where on back order so Kitchen Aid told them to send parts back and they would call me.. Which was a total lie. When I called Kitchen Aid they told me that January 5 Affordable Maytag rejected the claim and where going to send parts back and didn't think to call me and tell me that they didn't want to work with me. It took me over 2 1/2 hours with Kitchen Aid to get this straighten out. I have to start the whole thing over all because they don't make enough money off of warrantee work. May be if they where more customer friendly and price there things better they would get out business. read more
