My 30-year old son was told he wasn't a candidate for dental implants, so I know how discouraging that feels. They seemed great, and maybe they are most of the time. At my initial consultation, they did not prescribe me the antibiotics or steroids I was apparently supposed to take the morning of my procedure (multiple implants) nor did they provide the literature they were apparently supposed to telling me to take them the day of the procedure. The day of my procedure, they said they were prescribing three different pain killers, the steroids and the antibiotics I was supposed to have already been prescribed. The pharmacy again did not get a prescription for the antibiotics. Since it was 5:15 pm when I realized this, we called and left a voicemail on the after hours line. They never called back. The prescription for the antibiotics finally went in the next day but since I was on pain killers and couldn't drive, I didn't get them until the following day. Turns out that even though I talked the dentist through my medical history at length - including that I was immunocompromised (they also had my med list showing this), and had a history of infection and sepsis, he still prescribed a strong steroid. In hindsight, I should have looked more into the steroid since I had never been on it before, but I trusted them not to prescribe me something that would make an immunocompromised person even more immunocompromised without telling me. I've been in the ER twice since the procedure two weeks ago, and still am fighting an antibiotic resistant infection and a seperate skin infection that being immunocompromised by the steroid caused. If the infection isn't improving by tomorrow, I'll be admitted to in-patient care until it is, meaning I miss even more work after already having 10 days of not being paid. On top of this, they gave me the post-procedure directions for the wrong procedure and only one of the pages of directions for the correct procedure. At this point, I likely won't be going back to even get the bridge and crown that's supposed to be going into the implants. I'd rather be missing four teeth than risk getting another infection. This is all after a two hour wait for my consultation appointment. I was fine with it at the time, they were unexpectedly short-staffed and things happen. But they never once said anything to me in the waiting room saying they were behind and clearly they rushed through the appointment if they didn't even talk about me taking medications for the procedure or send them in. read more

I went back to these people to have a replacement set of dentures made. The first set they made lasted five years. After I got the second set I immediately started having problems. The dentures didn't fit. I went back numerous times for adjustments and finally found out that instead of 14 teeth on each plate they had only made 12 teeth. Both dentures were 2 teeth short. Consequently the upper plate fit but the lower plate was over an inch shorter than the plate it was replacing. Despite letters and phone calls, the dentist refused to even respond. Finally when I sent them notice I was going to sue in Magistrates Court, I got a phone call telling me they were going to refund the charge. I went to Aspen Dental and got a proper set of dentures made. I'll never go to Affordable Dentures again. read more

Well I went there beginning of Dec. 2022 Ive had at least 4 visits in that month. So far all I choose to say is its been very interesting, to say the least at this time. Im holding my complete review until the end of treatment... I would like to say they were recomended by a lady I met... Everything she told me was incorrect. She said, "you go there for your free consultation & your 1st appointment. They take an Xray and the dentist gives you an evaluation... of your teeth... If you decide to go ahead with the dentist recommendation you make one more appointment. That for example: you need a partial they do impression right then... You go have lunch or shopping. Then you return and its all done... You leave with a happy smile and no tooth infections any longer..." Well after going to Afforadable Dentures Ive been thinking what was that women smoking when she described how the procedure would go... Or perhaps she has stock with them... lol ... Honestly I just can't understand why she said all that to us... I can tell you thats Not... how it goes.... I can also be helpful in sharing with you my experience of their procedures and how they are paid... I think I was told most dentist bill this way. Therefore its not just them... It was a complete shocker for me personally... So if you are not paying cash & using any credit they are paid the full treatment ahead of time... I just learned this and Im sure theres many of you who have experienced this with many other dentist groups... I personally used "Care Credit"... I actually went home from my 1st consultation, woke up next morning and called Care Credit just to see what was the % rate I would be paying... Instead I found out I had a debit on my card for the complete total amount I would be paying them... Well I was shocked... Perhaps Im behind on times or could I be naive... Whatever the case I wasn't aware thats how most dental groups charge... Here I was expecting at my next visit they would bill me... We'd go over their detail summary of the charges... Assuming we all agree Id sign for the charges up to a certain point... Later Id be given another bill for work done up till that point and sign for the charges to be paid... I have to laugh because that does sound like a really naive person hahaha... Anyway as I was saying just be ready to start making payments soon if you agree to go ahead with their recommendations... For those of you who may be saying she should have known... What planet is she in... I say, I really wish someone before myself had used Yelp or Google to let others know how a dental payment plan works... Then I could have avoided the stress of finding out in less then 24hrs I was billed thousands for dental procedures that I hadn't even started... lol So for anyone who didnt know how the dental payments work you now know and can avoid the shocker... Remember its not only Affordable Dentures... its Most dental groups if you agree to get their treatment plans... I can also tell you Afforadable Dentures does Not have gas or IV for any surgical procedures... OMLord did I suffer... I felt every cut and every stich... I almost pasted out! I can't even think about it because it honestly causes me a lot of anxiety... At first when I thought back about the dental surgery I went through with them... I had a panic attack... I asked them and they told the truth about not having gas...But they use medication and I wouldn't feel a thing...Every one is different and everyone feels different degrees of pain... I can only say I will NEVER again have Any dental surgical procedures done WithOut gas... I wish the moment they told me they didn't use gas, that I had left right then... But I didn't leave, instead I believed whatever medication they use they have assured me I would feel nothing... Im only telling you this so you know in 2023 they don't follow the saying of "pain free Dentistry" " they don't use gas... They give you some pill that hits like a Tylenol. If you don't like dental pain then you don't want to go there... Thats all... I still must go back & forth for adjustments and eventually my permanent denture... The temporary ones are like the old fashion toys way back. The plastic teeth one would wind up and let go on the floor or a table. Lets see how the rest goes from here... Im learning as I go. Im also keeping in touch with Care Credit documenting any issues just in case it doesn't go as they promised me...Im praying when they are done that their teeth actually look like my own teeth did before I started with them. I will definitely let you know if its a happy ending! PS: Everyone that works there including dentist are nice very hard working ppl. So my implant journey begins, doing the permanent upper and lower. So far experience has been great. Came in at 6 am, out via IV sedation by 6:10 and walking out 1:30. Multiple extractions, sinus lift on top, and implants inserted and temp. teeth on bottom and temp. denture on top while bone graft takes. Sent home with numerous medications including pain meds, which were NOT needed. Minimal pain which considering all that was done, simply amazing! Swelling and bruising, absolutely but within 2 weeks almost all gone. Came back for suture removal and reline of the top denture, so much more secure now. Only issue is still numbness on chin but Dr. Harris reassured me, several people experience this and that he has never had a patient that it did not resolve itself. Staff is amazing in care and concern in my opinion. Tammy especially is wonderful and Dr. Harris has taken the time to answer my many questions. Wait times have not been an issue at any of my appointments. read more

This is Thomas Roach, I'm writing this review only because I am totally disappointed in the service I received from affordable dentures in Cartersville, the staff was nice up until there was a problem, which consist of my implants, it has only been 3 months since I had my implants and I'm having problems with them, which involves a lot of pain, even when I eat a gummy my implants unsnap themselves, so I had to move across the country and this happened about half way, so I called to explain to affordable dentures in Cartersville what was going on and they didn't care after I spent the 15 thousand dollars having this work done, they told me they wasn't going to do anything unless I come to their office which i explained that it was impossible because of where I am, so i asked if they could cover the cost of what I needed done and they told me absolutely not so I went to Affordable Dentures in Spokane, WA and they said if they would have done my implants and there was a problem they would have covered the costs of any Affordable Dentures in the US. They were really nice during the initial procedure, getting teeth pulled, the aids are friendly enough, but now that it's been a couple weeks my wife is dealing with bone spurs. There are many, and it's painful for her to even wear her dentures. The doctor and everyone there says that bone spurs are normal and will work themselves out, but we know other people who have gone elsewhere, and they didn't have as big a problem. read more

I took my time to write this review. Because I don't want to be unfair or hurtful. This place, this practice...they are awful. I didn't know what it would mean to have all my teeth pulled and dentures installed because if you Google: dentures: how does it feel and how hard is it? All you will receive in your search are dental facilities and they will talk about how easy it is and how affordable it is: BS! If you can't afford the extra 4K you can't be put to sleep to have all your teeth extracted, which means for 2 hours you'll be given shot after shot to keep your gums asleep all while your mouth is wide open and someone is sawing your teeth out of your mouth. After that, when they are finally done, someone will hand you a hard piece of plastic in a container and tell you that this is your healing denture if you have to go out in public. And they will send you home, with your 'bald' mouth, and Tylenol with codeine for pain relief. I ended up in the ER that night in so much pain you can't even imagine, thank God they gave me something! I had to come to the office the next Monday (my extractions were on a Friday) and insist on waiting for help. I had bruising all along my jawline from the forceful extractions. They finally gave me an effective pain reliever: I don't take pain meds, have always hated how they made me feel, but thank God I got them* then...there were the 'measurements' for my permanent dentures. The 1st one consisted of a person shoving a fitted denture into my raw mouth and gums, and when I was like Ow, that hurts, she shoved it into my mouth and because I didn't know what to do, I was like stuck there while she shoved it into my mouth sideways. This meant that my future 'healing' denture were off-kilter, meaning they were sideways. If you looked at my temp dentures they were sideways, leaning far to the left. I asked at every appointment if they could see that my dentures slanted to the left, and if they could help correct it, and they never did. They never did. If you use this facility know this: all they want is your money and all you will get is pain and heartache. read more

Joni Gravitt Went in to have a bottom denture made ( having teeth pulled elsewhere) I was under the understanding that I was getting the immediate denture, 3 adjustments, then a permanent denture. Ok I misunderstood that was if I pd $1049. So for $480 I get immediate, 3 adjustments, 1 alignment & 60 days to change my mind on upgrading to the package. Ok we will go with that for now. I asked them not to make the denture to thin just in case the dentist had to adjust it or what ever. After I got home is when I looked at the denture and noticed it was so thin that you could see through it. The next morning I went back to ask why it was made so thin, they asked to look at it & said we are just going to refund your money. I was like what? She said we decided yesterday that this was just not a good fit so we are going to keep the denture and give your money back. I ask why, what happened? She said nothing we just don't think it will work and as long as you have our product then we will have to work on it and it's just not a good fit ( that's all she would say) she said our dentist has that right. I asked if it was b/c I didn't buy the package yesterday, she said no, I asked if I done something to upset the she said no, I stood outside and waited my turn b/c I can not wear a mask b/c of medical reasons (which they didn't care and still told me I had to wear a mask and that's why I stood out in the cold). I have used this affordable denture location for many years, I have had 2 top plates a top partial and 2 bottom partials made and have never had the issues I have had today . That was just sorry. I have been calling for weeks to get the x-ray sent to the dentist that will happily do my extraction and they NEVER answer their phone or return your calls. I took my mother to this location in Hope's of boosting her self confidence. We were initially given a price but with each visit thousands were added to our bill. Every procedure ultimately cost us $17,000. Yes! That's how much it cost for a disabled veteran to restore her smile. A year later my mother saw a different dentist and we're told we overpaid and did not have the final procedure. We paid $17,000 for temporary solution. To say the least we're furious. Still we didnt complain. The reason I'm writing this is because now the Cartersville location will not provide my mother with her dental records. It's been a month and two records requests later and we are given the runaround for her records. Enough is enough. This company misleads the public on the cost of their work. I have a broken tooth and am in excruciating pain. I'm short on cash, so my Dad called these people to see if he could pay for my appointment over the phone. They said that he could. So I took an hour out of my extremely busy work day to drive all the way up here, filled out paperwork for twenty minutes, and then the girl at the front tells me that it's their policy that card payments have to be in person. Let me get this straight - every single business I can possibly think of takes credit card payments over the phone, but these people don't. So now I have to drive back to work, still in a lot of pain and with a broken tooth, and all in all this will add two and a half hours to my work day for absolutely nothing. What do they think they're going to accomplish by not taking payments over the phone? They are single handedly going to wipe out identity theft while inconveniencing their customers? Furthermore, the woman on the phone told my dad that a simple extraction would be $95 and a complex one would be $150. She didn't say anything about X-rays. When I get here, the lady tells me that X-rays are an additional $80. Then when I walked out of the place fuming mad, the girl at the front calls my cell and says that they won't charge me for the x rays. What a poorly run clusterf$@k! Terrible! Horrible! An absolute nightmare! If I could give this place negative stars I would. To be fair I'll give the positives first. I did not have a long wait time. The office staff (not the dentist) were nice and the assistant (a nice black lady whose name I forget) was very nice and helpful--she seemed apologetic toward me for how terrible the dentist was! The dentist was rude, obviously didn't like me and was very unprofessional. She almost yelled at me to turn my head when giving me novocaine. She then got impatient that it wasn't numbing me fast enough (she didn't wait nearly long enough at all). She tried extracting my bottom wisdom tooth before I was numb and when I bolted in pain she got irritated about giving me more and then stormed out. She didn't wait long enough for that shot either and tried taking it out again with the same painful result. She then slammed down her instruments and stormed out rudely saying (almost yelling!!) I'm giving you one more and if that doesn't work I'm sending you somewhere else. She gave me the fourth shot and then didn't wait long enough but thankfully it numbed me. Then she yanked the tooth out forcefully. I thought she was going to pull my head off. It took so little time I was shocked. I was initially impressed until I got a look at my socket and now see she stretched a canyon into my jaw. I've been in terrible pain for five days and she didn't even prescribe anything for pain or antibiotics even though I told her it was inflamed and infected before the extraction. This was nothing like any dentist or extraction I've had before (three wisdom teeth prior with good experience at other places). I think this dentist is actually a racist black lady who hates white men! That's how she acted and her attitude was obviously in line with such hatred. I had an appointment on 5-22-2020 and received a email and text confirming my appointment well I get their for my adjustment only to be told that the cancelled my appointment because I didn't respond to their phone call which the never made, then said they had the wrong phone number for me, but I just had got a email and a text the day before. I also need to talk to someone in billing because my insurance company denied my claim because of missing information on the forms they gave me, and my insurance co. said they had been trying to get in touch with them on several occasions even once with me on the line no one picked up. If I could give this place no stars I would!! Today was my mother's first and last appointment!! We went there so she could have 2 teeth extracted, we looked at their website for pricing and on their website stated that for a routine extraction it was only going to be $95.00, We got there, she checked her self in a filled out the new patient paperwork and then we waited for over an hour and a half before they got her back for her x-rays. At around 10 o clock (keep in mind we have been there since 8:40am) they final told her how much each tooth was going to cost, They told her it was going to be $250 per tooth because it was categorized as an emergency even though we made an appointment ahead of time. So we decided that we should only get one out today and thank god we did!!! The uneducated dentist decided to start the procedure before my poor mother was even completely numb!!! and on top of that broke the tooth in the process!! my mother whom can handle pain was in complete tears and extreme amount of pain!!! Then the dentist had the nerve to tell her that she should look for small pieces of tooth to fall out of the hole through the next couple of days!!! The stuff at these location are extremely rude!! and only care about socializing with each other and nothing else!!! They don't care to get to know the patients or the issues they are there for!! Had to succumb to having upper dentures this year. They took me in promptly and I found a plan that I could afford without insurance. Dr. Adedoyin and all her staff were wonderful and caring through the whole process of removing bad teeth, fitting me with the temporary and back again for the permanent ones. I was a difficult fit, being new to dentures and my gums changed a good bit and required several visits for adjustments. To shorten this to the point, they took good care of me and I am a happy customer.
