Fortunately, I found this place, Affordable Dentures. Unfortunately, my teeth's life has come to this. I grew tired of the 15 years of temporary solutions and the five different dentists (more if I count the first-time appointments I didn't revisit) that I had been given. My front top bridge broke, and I just felt this was the next step to preserve my dignity. I knew Affordable Dentures was what I needed. I was able to get a quick appointment. Overall, my research on and conversation with Dr. Ravi Patel made all the difference. He is not only nice with an amazing bedside manner, but he was also able to come up with a plan that we both could agree on. I wanted something affordable, but reasonable for my age (39). He discussed solutions both now and in the future. He also stayed within his lane, referring me to get other dental work (fillings) with a doctor of my choice. He didn't even push anyone on me. While his staff did all the work on me, my one visit with him confirmed that I made the right choice. I had to have all my top teeth removed, and now I'm wearing a temporary denture that everyone who knows my situation thinks looks amazing. During surgery, Dr. Patel and his team had to make a significant decision bout my implants from another treatment. I was scared about what he was going to do, but he went the route that was best for me, safe for me, and the one I hoped for. Costs - I was getting close to the price limit, but I was able to obtain financing that was right for me. Note, I only needed a top denture, not a complete set. They allowed me to choose the medical plan that I could afford every month. The initial plan was quite intense, but after we discussed, we agreed to do the bare minimum, which is what I was looking for. The price is very affordable. Again, I was not pressured to go with the higher medical plan and was even told that we could revisit the plan in two years to see if I wanted to afford the permanent version. My follow-ups have been great, and they made an adjustment that was great for me. I had no issues thus far with Affordable Dentures after three appointments. Although it's a drive from the north side of the city, I'm pleased with this choice. I recommend Dr. Patel and his staff five stars, any day. read more

0 stars! They robbed me! I was supposed to get implants, but after receiving the temporary dentures that they made fun of me about, I decided NOT to move forward, but they charged me anyway. Mind you, they said that I would receive a refund, if I decided to not follow through. I gave them months to rectify this, but I work for Clorox, so I'm able to receive free legal representation. Worst customer service, Rude staff, messed up Appointment system. I called to book an appointment for my Senior age father, my appointment was confirmed over the phone. We were seeking immediate care and requesting care for him regarding Dental Implants. On the day of the appointment, we were being told that no appointment has been confirmed. I called 855-861-7220 which is their call center. My father was in pain and needed care, we waited for 2 days just to be told that appointment wasn't made by call center person and need to make new appointment. When I called the Oak park Clinic directly, the lady was offended as I expressed concerns due to delay in seeking care for my father. Without seeing and evaluating my father, she said they are not even sure if they will be able to help my father and denied care. This utmost unprofessional and unethical for a medical provider to treat their patients like this, denying the care what they need or delaying their treatment, posing risk to their health. Clinic should have owned up their mistake and should have taken responsibility to offer treatment and guided us in proper manner. read more

I have had continuous service with the branch at the brickyard on Narraganset Ave in Chicago over the years covering repairs , extractions, and a full set of their 2nd most expensive dentures my tab was at lease $12,000 the full set of dentures by themselves were $5,000 the day i got the final pair of dentrues' i was talking with the doctor that fitted, and had them made he looked at the lower denture and said "its going to take a lot of glue to hold those in" not what i wanted to hear i asked what he ment by that and he said you really should have implants on the bottoe denture got an estimate from him and it was and additional $8,000 not very happy the bottoms are useless they wont stay in longer than 15 minutes phil scardina read more

Bit disorganized. I showed up day of oral surgery and was not prescribed antibiotics or pain meds in advance. Apparently there was some issue with the doctors license. Anyways did get the meds before procedure. Post op prescription was horrible. I was given dexamethasone without any warning of side effects. Had terrible hiccups for two and a half days and made body extremely weak. So talk to doctor about the meds. Otherwise clean facility, procedure was without any hitch. read more

Earlier this year, I received from this Affordable Dentures location an expertly designed, fabricated, and delivered full upper denture...for which I failed to convey proper appreciation at the time. I suppose that I'd become so accustomed to the absence of proper upper teeth that I didn't know quite how to react to their presence. Today, three months to the day after having received the denture, and being very pleased with the outcome both aesthetically and functionally, I wanted to correct this oversight. Affordable was the worst of all my years I have worn some kind of dentures since1960 and this was a real eye opener when they girl made the impression I knew Things were going to be bad when I went to pick them up they were to long on one side so I told her and she went back and came back and she had cut the wrong side off so I told her they were loose and probably needed to be relined and she said that is 210 dollars I was shocked I said when I walk out that door they are mine and her reply was pretty much believe me their price is not cheap so my advice is stay as far from Affordable dentist my time spent in dentist office has never been so rude un proffecinal they always try and make them fit so if you don't heed my warning it is on you I paid 645 for a bottom plate and it was next to the cheapest one Check some where else befor you go I would not even give it a star read more

Was able to get an appointment very quickly. Everyone was wonderful. My mother-in-law got dentures and is extremely happy. She raved about everyone. The doctor was great and was very informative about the process. She asked for a product and the doctor told her it wasn't needed therefore saving her money he certainly could have just agreed with her and we'd be none the wiser. 11/10 Service with same day dentures = best dentist experience ever! I called in and asked if they can give an immediate appointment for my mom because she needed "partials" ASAP. The receptionist first said no, but after some begging she talked to someone and said yes. I arrived 30 minutes later to meet Dr. Patel, a dental assistant (white coat), and a receptionist/DA (blue scrubs). I forgot their names, but they both start with an M. First, I'd like to compliment Dr. Patel on his empathy towards his patients. He explained everything A-Z to me and then reexplained it to my mom in Hindi. He was in the room with us for a good 15 minutes just explaining stuff because I had so many questions. He also advised on what my mom needs to do in the future for her teeth and what needs to be done today. He won't push you to do anything just so AD can make more money. Then, the receptionist or DA (i'm not sure what she was, I'm sorry if I'm wrong), came in an explained the prices and what benefits go with each. I was super confused with all the terms and benefits and probably asked the same question 10 times because I wasn't going to say "yes" to Dr. Patel performing surgery on my mom without me knowing what exactly is happening. I'd say I spent a good 30 minutes talking to her until I fully understood what exactly was going to happen. Then I spent another good 15 minutes reexplaining everything to my mom and the receptionist kept checking up every 5 minutes to see if we are ready to move forward. Once we gave the yes, I asked Dr. Patel if he can numb my moms gums so she doesn't feel as much pain and he politely agreed. They also gave her some oral spray to numb the oropharynx. He started the procedure but my mom kind of messed it up once. Yikes! He didn't get frustrated and redid the entire thing. I really respect him for that because some Dentists would have expressed signs of annoyance. Great guy. The waiting area + restrooms are SUPER SUPER clean. Spotless. Not even a piece of wrapper on the ground. I think they take one patient at a time and most everyone has an appointment. So it was also super quite which was odd because I'm so use to congested waiting areas. Highly recommend Dr. Patel for your dental procedures. read more

Fast forward to 2021 and I am returning to get the treatment. Living with dentures is not how I picture living in my prime (severe bone loss causing my face to age). I went to another affordable dentures and the dentist said there was nothing he could do due to not enough bone left in my face to hold the implants. So back to Dr. Patel who gave me the option of fixed dentures (all-on-4 & 6). His bedside manner makes you feel so comfortable. They were kind, answered all my questions and seemed like they cared for me as a person, not the money. On surgery day for my implants, I was treated so well. I was looking into trying to help my mom feel better. She has no teeth on the top, and four in the bottom, on either side. We went to "Dental Dreams" in the brickyard for routine care, and and they said that they could do the dentures for her, and the top would be covered by her Medicare with prioauthorization, but the bottom I would have to pay for out of pocket, which was around 1700-1800. It would take months of impressions, fittings, and in 4-6 months she would have a "new smile." I wanted to check other options, and while literally driving to the other side of the brickyard, there was Affordable Dentures. I took their number, called them, scheduled appointment, and didn't tell my mom yet because I didn't want to get her hopes up. It was very easy to get an appointment, even super early before I had to go to work. Told her about this place, but "don't get your hopes up." We went to our appointment, front desk was great, assistants were great, and Dr. Patel was amazing! My mom can be a little childlike, (repeating stuff multiple times, asking same questions in different ways.) but he was very patient, and explained our options to her multiple times, and then to me since I was paying for her. I really appreciated this and he was just so pleasant. He recommended a deep cleaning for her four teeth, and not to pull them so that the bottom partial could anchor. We did temporary dentures, because the deep cleaning could leave her swollen, and come back in about two months to be fitted for the official set. We were told to come back in the afternoon to pick up the temporary set! She was thrilled to be having temporary dentures, after not having any for over decades. The cost was literally just a little more than dental dreams for too and bottom, but she could have them way sooner, and it saved me time off from work, as dental dreams wanted multiple appointments and fittings, and almost half a year to get. I wish I had know about Affordable Dentures a long time ago, and felt bad for cheating my mom into not getting them sooner. Her temporary set helped her learn to eat and prepare for the official set. Her official set didn't take long to get, (maybe less than a week?) and she loved them. I am so thankful for Dr. Patel and his amazing stuff. Thank you for making my mom not be ashamed of her smile. I had 13 teeth removed, 4 of the teeth broke at the gum line & had to be dug out. I was going to have the 6 lowers that were left pulled as well but was guided by Dr Ravi Patel not to because of the functions of the jaw. He suggested having them to hook onto to be sturdy. I didn't know but quickly understood. He fit me with temp denture & bridge & suggested coming back in 8 mo for the permanent set. His chair side manner along with his staff was outstanding and very warm. It took a procedure I dreaded and made it not a problem with the minimum of pain. My mom Pam Wojcik is a patient of Dr. Patel's. She has had her original dentures for 38 years. She has never had luck with having new dentures made. She has gone to 2 different professionals and both made faulty dentures. The latest experience was a $5000 job that resulted in a horrible overbite and bad fit. She then found Affordable Dentures whom she called and spoke to a woman named Maggie, who was wonderful and reassuring. God bless this office! My grandma took a really nasty fall into a concrete curb the Thursday before the 4th of July which resulted in a broken nose and her upper dentures being obliterated. This office was able to schedule us in for a same-day appointment to take a look and attempt a temporary repair to get her through the Holiday weekend, and the doctor, who is extremely nice and compassionate, was able to do so, despite the rough shape the dentures were in after the fall. This office has a great staff, they have an amazingly positive attitude, and it was WELL worth the drive from Batavia (over an hour away) to come to this location because these folks were some of the very nicest people and had the best customer service, not just of a dental office, but of any kind of business. Thank you so much. Once the swelling goes down from my grandma's injuries, I'll be bringing her back out to get her a new set of top dentures, because the culture of this office made me feel like they cared about my grandma as much as I do. read more

Doctor Patel did 24 extractions in less than 3 hours and I felt no pain! By the time he was done, I thought he was done giving me anesthetics. I had my dentures and a natural smile after 44 years of not smiling. I am HIV+ and Dr Patel Reviewed my CD 4 count which was 157 and he did not take my $6,000.00 right away without getting clearance from my Infectious Disease Doctor. I wonder how many Dentists would not bother to care and just take the cash! I can't say in words how much I appreciate this Doctor. A side note after having the 24 extractions my CD 4 counts is now 324. Anyone who has any immune system related disease to see Dr Patel, and his staff are incredible as well! read more

They are truly affordable. My last dentist was a Chinese hack who sent me to a specialist for a root canal .while drilling my molar like he was drilling for oil, the tooth fractured sending half of it into outer space. He puts in a temporary filling and sends me back to this Chinese money grubber. I was so pissed I didn't go back to either of them. After 3 years the temp filling started wearing out so I figured to stop all this root canal nonsense and have an implant done. Enter affordable dentures and Dr. Patel. He extracted what was left of this molar ,which was not an easy extraction, did the bone graft,and very patiently explained all the procedures involved with an implant. In the meantime I went to my new dentist for a teeth cleaning, and they pulled up the results of the bone graft and it was coming along nicely. I go in around the first of Oct. for the 3D scan . Dr. Patel is very patient and seems to care about his patients, taking as long as necessary to explain what he is going to do. Plus, the cost was about half of what everyone else is charging. I originally met him at the grand opening when he took care of my nana and made her 1st pair of dentures in almost 20 years. In passing I happened to mention that my mom has terminal cancer and had lost all of her teeth due to a gum infection. How I wished we had just come here from the beginning because we had just spent a lot of money on dentures elsewhere that she couldn't wear because they had been improperly made & caused her a lot of pain to wear. Dr. Patel was very empathetic and actually met with my mom and offered suggestions on what to do but the dentures where just unwearable. When out of the blue a couple weeks later after having a rough day at work on my drive home Dr. Patel called and asked me how my mom was doing, I explained to him that aside from not eating she had been depressed because of her appearance without her teeth. It was then Dr. Patel said that was exactly why he was calling, he had been thinking about my mom a lot lately and what he could do to help her. He asked me to bring her in so that he could make her a new set of dentures and when I asked him how much that would run us he said "absolutely nothing" he and his practice wanted to give my mom a beautiful smile and a way to feel better. He'll never know how his kindness has made the biggest difference in the world to us and there aren't enough words in this world to ever thank him. Thank you for just being you Dr.Patel.
