I called River Run Appliance Repair on Tuesday, scheduled me for Thursday 8am-12pm. Of course, he arrived at 11:45. He worked on it for about an hour & could not get the door open. Had to keep looking online & calling his boss. He didn't even bring his own tools. Asked me for a coat hanger, which I didn't have the wire kind. Gave him a skewer which I had to throw away it was so mangled. Asked for a metal or wooden ruler. I mean come on. Then he gave up, but not before charging me $120...for nothing!!!!! He called his boss, I guess it was Jeremy, the owner. I could hear him saying that when I scheduled the appointment I agreed to the fee. NEVER AGAIN. River RUN from these shysters!

The owner was highly responsive to my initial online inquiry and emailed me back with detailed helpful information (no strings attached). I decided to have him come assess the situation in person and he determined that it was going to be a pricy fix and we discussed the pros/cons of repair versus replacing the entire double oven. Although he would make no additional money off of my service call if I decided to replace, he didn't push me toward any particular decision. Instead, he provided me the information that I needed so that I could reflect on my options and make the most preferred decision for myself. He was also happy to talk with me about concerns I had related to my dryer and to run a few checks for me. This led to the conclusion that running my dryer on "energy saver" mode was actually causing me to have to run it through multiple drying cycles and that there was nothing tangibly wrong with the dryer. This guy is the real deal as far as being a knowledgeable and friendly repair person who cares about his work and his customers. I will most certainly be reaching out to him in the future whenever I run into appliance issues! Thank you!!

There was no obvious reason for the failure so Pro-line proceeded to replace the circuit breaker, the junction box and the connecters. The oven works again. We've bought and built several houses over the years, and we have lots of experience with builders and contractors. Given Pro Line's quick response and the thorough work they did I think the best thing I can say about them is I trust them and their work. Well done. Now we can have the pizza we were going to heat before the oven mis-behaved.

The house was built in the 1990s with a combo wall oven unit. The cabinetry and facing molding are good hard wood. Lowes wanted to sell us a replacement cabinet made of junk and do who only knows what to the molding, not to mention matching special, paint cured in a paint booth. Other Appliance installers just wanted to drop the unit in the hole, a 30" combo oven, and leave us with a 5 inch gap. Old unit was 47 x 30; new 42 x 30. There are no good answers to this on the net. There are trim kits available online, but dimensions are hard to find and they are vents. Box store sales forces are clueless. Some box stores want you to pay for a consultant after purchase - who know what they do for about $100. They do not assess your home in advance of purchase, apparently. Lots of wasted time, dead ends, people wanting to make a mess in our home. Then, praises, Mr. Anthony and specialist were found! Professional, clean, efficient and well versed! Problem solved quickly. They scheduled install around delivery of 2nd new combo oven and installed it with little fuss. In the situation where the new unit is shorter, they have to build a base in advance. Electric power was relocated behind oven to make all fit in the space properly. Wood was put in the gap at the bottom of the oven. A week or so later Pro Line Appliance installed a matching steel plate. They had to see the actual new unit before construction of the plate so that it would match perfectly. This took 3 pleasant visits from Pro Line Appliance and 3 phone calls. Again, what a blessing!! The price was very reasonable and was half of what a box store wanted to destroy and waste good wood. What a wonderful experience! Please use Pro Line Appliance. They also sell Miele appliances. Call today and stop being frustrated or at sea. We are so very pleased after months of searching for the right answer. Be happy!!!

Who would've guessed that Samsung is not a common brand that appliance repair contractors can fix…read more I contacted a few different contractors with no success. It looks like they serve a large area, so when I called I was told that they would be in the Richmond area on Wednesday and estimated the timeline of 11-1pm when I called Monday. The interaction was super quick and cordial. I did a search using Yelp, contacted someone I've used before and others sent me a quote. The company I used previously did not work on Samsungs. Professional Appliance Repair responded and told me to give them a call which I did. Talked to them and they were up front telling me $79 for the service call and if they find the issue and fix it they charge would go towards it. This also happened to be a rental home I manage so they asked me for the tenants number so they can work with them as far as time line. Everything was seamless, they came out to the house that morning and worked with the tenant. They found an issue with the sensors, which required that they order the part. They indicated it would take 3-4 days or so to get the part in. They got the part in the following Monday and fixed it. They accept venmo which is what I ended up paying through. Overall great experience and super responsive. I would totally use them again for the rental and my own home!
