I had an airhead house-sitting for me. She lost my keys and had some other, unknown and non-guild-affiliated guy pick my lock and make a new key...after the wonderful Temecula police tried to help her break into my home without verifying that she even had a right to be there. Fast response and were able to help for a same day re key for a new home. Although they go based off of appointments, depending on availability they may do same day. I was fortunate they had an opening and were able to accommodate. Great customer service, fast re keying, polite and ready to get it going. My wife got scammed by Fidelity Locksmith to the tune of $278 for unlocking a 5 pin Wiser lock which is by no means a bank vault lock. In fact I installed it and re-keyed it myself. In my effort to gather information about contesting the charge I spoke with the owner of Affordable Lock & Key and he took the time to inform me of the scam operation being perpetrated by Fidelity. They will quote you a $29 basic fee but conveniently neglect to inform you of the labor charge which in this case was $249 for fifteen minutes of work--wish I made that kind of money. I had some issues with some problem locks around the house and mainly the front door and come to find out most locks upon purchase along with doors were in really bad shape. Robert was not only friendly but he really could have sold me on fixing all locks and replacing a lot of parts.
