I dropped my keys off the dock at a marina and needed to figure out a solution on a Sunday afternoon, with my car in a public lot that it couldn't stay in overnight. The job should have been straightforward (I thought) but apparently my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek shows up in the locksmith manual/database/whatever as being a push-button start, and my car is a key-start. After another technician came out and was unable to assist me, I called Alan, who encountered the same snag but stayed for 3 HOURS (!) to get it all sorted out. He had all the key-cutting equipment, blanks, and programming tools that he ended up needing in the back of the van, and was super courteous and professional. Washington, verbally quoted $125, guaranteed he could perform the required the repair and only took 20 minutes! The right side door was repaired by a simple squirt of WD-40-no charge! I wasn't expecting, but also received a new key included in the price! No wonder he has such a busy shop! Quality work at a fair price! $295 is NOT good value and obviously not worth it!
