Went to Busy Bee to order a new door knob with lock for back door. Ready to make it easy with pictures and we live about 1.5 miles away. Lo and behold, no staff inside, A lady came out of restroom and walked right bye us into office. No greetings or " can I help you?" I guess we were invisible. Then some guy came in from outside who we saw Sitting in his truck on his phone listening to music. He finally came in asked us what we need. Told him, he left to go outside and never came back. Then lady came out of office, looked at me and mumbled and left for office and shut door. It had now been 25+ minutes with nothing from the Bee hive. We are not the "Invisibles" from Disney. Just little respect or acknowledgment would have got you a sale. Not!!! Ignored, so we left. On way out we saw guy who left us sitting in truck, again listening to music on phone. Used this biz before and were pretty good. Total pieces of C - - p today. No more biz from me for the family biz. This was a nice review considering how pissed we were. read more

I just had the most amazing experience in getting my son's fobbed keys, laser cut and programmed. Brody Howard was the gentleman that helped me. They were outstanding professional fast knew exactly what they were doing. Make sure that I was comfortable with the car starting and everything going on this is my new locksmith place. They do everything you can come to their shop. You can have them come to your home. They do home security safes E bikes, cars, programmable, fobs, commercial residential. I mean, they are the full service they do repairs and install installation and replace lockout. He was just absolutely amazing. He saw something on the front of my car that was hanging a little loose went inside found a panel clip and came out popped it on with no charge just so that I would be OK driving down the road. I needed copies of my key to my storage unit. Even though it was my lock, I'd been told that it was a special type and only the storage office could provide copies. Busy Bee proved them wrong. It took a couple attempts, but when I brought the lock and the key, it took them just a couple of minutes to find the right key blank and cut a copy. Well the good experience was last time. A month ago, I needed a copy of my mailbox key, when I called, I thought I was calling the local Murrieta store, it wasn't ! It was some mother store in San Diego. That's fine. Lady gave me a reasonable price, so I went to Murrieta store, they actually charged me less than the quoted price & I was supper happy. Today was totally different ! This time I bought a souvenir over the table small box from local discount store (donated stuffs) but they didn't have a key to open ! But it looked nice & I paid just $5 to get it . but I need to just open the box. So as a returning Customer I called, again call transferred to San Diego store, he (no name) gave me a hefty $65 price just to open it !! I didn't need to change the lock. So I drove to the store Murrieta, but they had already been warned via email from San Diego that I might be going there & the same hefty price was already coated to our local store ! But I wasn't gonna pay $65 for a $5 box... a process that would take them just 2 min, with minimum skills, (most basic box lock) ! No that's not fair, they should've been more reasonable. I'm a home owner with multiple cars, and any day I might need a locksmith, & could call them for help, in the future. But it wasn't to be ... they were not gonna work on the price with me, because San Diego store has already coated a price to them, written on the stone, can't be negotiated... , I'm disappointed. I came in about month ago about a roof rack on my SUV. I was told by the dealer they didn't have a key and by several locksmiths that they couldn't work on the type of lock it has. I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Busy Bees Locksmith. After having a new key made and completing the process in-store, I began receiving multiple follow-up calls--approximately 15 in total--due to an error made by the technician, who took a blurry photo of my ID. While I understand that mistakes happen, what truly shocked me was the call I received from Jennifer, the owner. Rather than handling the situation with professionalism and courtesy, she called me directly and raised her voice in a highly inappropriate and confrontational manner over a mistake that was not mine. As a customer who had already paid for the service and cooperated throughout the process, being spoken to in such a disrespectful tone by the business owner was unacceptable. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this company to anyone. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for locksmith services--professionalism and respect should be a given, especially when a business is asking something of the customer. read more

On Thursday, 23rd, 2025. I went into the shop between 3:30 PM - 4 PM. I explained to Brody that my unlock button for my key fob isn't working anymore and this is my spare one. Brody, was so kind to diagnosed and open the key fob and saw that the unlock button connection was disconnected. He soldered the connection back in place and the unlock button worked. I was so thrilled and thankful that, Brody, helped me fixed a "minor" issue. He saved me hundreds of dollars and time of having getting new key fobs, rekeyed and programmed - I can't thank you enough, Brody! I will certainly shared my story with people I know in Temecula and Murrieta area. Side note, for dog lovers. He has a beautiful white and black spotted dog hanging out at the shop, she is so well behaved and so loving. When Brody and I had a moment - she sensed it and came right away to me and her two front paws were in my hands and the rest is history. Haha read more
