Emergency towing which I'm guessing they are under the same company as Affordable Paint & Body. My car was towed from my apartment complex. I went to go and pick it up. Make a long story short the youngest guy that works there was very nasty and disrespectful. I was called a BLACK BITCH AND A NIGGER. All while the other employee said nothing. All I did was ask a question as to why he took another person before me. I spoke my peace after listening to him insult me through the window. This company is nasty and it needs to be closed. No one should've been treated this way. He had an attitude from the start after being told to get out of his car by the other guy. I hate I had to deal with such a nasty person. Scam artist beware! Not honest and they don't deliver a good paint job. Took my part on 4/30/2021 owner or whatever he is Claudio don't trust him! Paid $235 for my wing to get it painted with this body shop if you can called it that, when i picked up i was impressed because they had packed neatly into the box really careful and I thought it was perfectly painted and clear coated and took it home without inspecting it, boy I was wrong. Clear coat was dry run all over the edges they didn't took the appropriate time to disassemble the spoiler the tape down everything didn't took attention to detail! Anyways when i got home and found about this I immediately call Claudio who instead of treat me good or help to fix the problem he shout that i didn't know anything about clear coat and paint jobs like if was my mistake and that he would not paint any more spoilers in his body shop try to explain myself about this situation but he kept yelling and on a unprofessional manner yelled bring the part back and then hang up on me like it was completely my fault. What a clown he should join the circus better yet they just need a popcorn machine on their office, now I understand why the called body shop was empty should've known better! Okay how do I start. I had a quote from this so-called affordable paint shop a year ago for about $980 to paint my 2008 JK Jeep Wrangler. I was happy with the current manager not the current manager excuse me the manager at the time he gave me a price for my wife jeep was a TJ 2002 Sahara for about $1,200 I said no I would like the factory paint and turn it end up costing about 3200 which is probably the right price. today I met with a manager there which is less than incompetent but regardless I told him I had a quote for about $980 in writing a year ago and I understand with inflation and what have you it's going to be more expensive he looked at me as though I was crazy and said he would take that proposal or estimate and rip it up and that that's absurd. Inturn I told him okay if it's absurd when it came to my vehicle what would be the price to just paint the vehicle as it is a Jeep, which is a box no angles nothing, you're painting a box. he in turn said I don't know I said how would you not know this is your business it can be anywhere from 1,800 to $3,800 I said sir this is not a Porsche or Ferrari I am talking about a Jeep what will be your price as a fair price he again stated it would be 1800 to 3800 but he's not sure. I again turned around and said do you know your business or are you just shouting out figures randomly. he said you know what I don't want your business get out of here there was also one of his employee standing behind him shaking his head as though the confirm the situation being bad. I again turned turned around and told them look I do construction it is embarrassing that you are a paint shop and you cannot look at a Jeep which is a box no custom color and not come up with a figure just to paint the outside of the Jeep. I hope you read through this and see that this guy is a crook also he's inept to be a manager and should be fired because he cannot sit down quickly give a price to paint a box a Jeep. I turned around I saw so many cars unfinished to me as a business owner this is an embarrassment. unfortunately the company states its name as being affordable body paint whatever it is it should be the unaffordable body paint shop. I always try to buy local I've patronized these guys I've actually had them paint my wife's Jeep if I show you what they did on the door and still tried to work with them but with the overturn of so many people coming in and out of that paint shop it's an embarrassment I hope you guys read this. buyer beware I will never patronize this place again I'm generally a local guy like to buy local these guys are not susceptive to people in the community and they really don't care. Three years ago, I'd have given this place top marks, but my recent experience there left me disappointed. My car was held for an extra week, for a fog light plug, they couldn't find. I got my car out and went to the dealership 3 miles away, and got the part in two days. I brought the part back to them, I was then told I also needed a light, but when i asked the manager why I wasn't told about a light he shrugged. I waited for almost an hour for them to install it, it only took a few minutes. I once thought they were great but now they no longer have my trust or my business. read more

They get the job done, but you might run into problems along the way. I'm 100% happy with the paint on my car right now, but I had to go back multiple times for them to fix sloppy mistakes. It's probably the best price you can get for paint jobs. At the same time, I would probably not go there for paint jobs on high end cars. read more

My car had suffered the strain of the weather in Florida and looked horrible. There were rust spots, paint worn down to the metal, cracked bumper cover, etc. Affordable Paint & Body restored it to like new condition. My eagle eye wife could not find any problems in the body work or paint job! And the price was VERY reasonable, about half what other companies wanted to charge. All I can say is buyer beware! Yes they fixed the body of the car well. However, it is likely that they took this car out on a joy ride and blew the engine. Dropped it off with 3/4 tank of gas and picked it up with only 1/4 tank left. On way from shop engine was clanging and smoking and mechanic says the engine is blown. We knew we had a oil problem that needed repair after body work but car drove well in to the body shop no engine problem. Called the owner Mauricio who denied being the owner, not honest. . . Denied anyone driving the car too. If you leave your car there I would recommend taking a pic of odometer reading and gas level especially if it's a red Mustang GT sports car! read more

i went to Affordable Painting to get a quote on painting the roof of my car. I spoke with the owner & he gave me a quote of $275. Mistake #1 on my part was NOT to get this quote in writing. It took me a awhile ( a month or two) to figure out how I was going to leave my car there & pick it up after the job was complete. So after I figured out the logistics of everything, I decided to go back on a Saturday with my boyfriend to finalize the deal & set a date. Now the price was up to $300. When I asked the owner why the $25 hike in price, he just shrugged his shoulders & never gave me a legitimate answer. I went ahead & set a date to have the paint job done. On the day it was supposed to be done, I had planned on driving there on my lunch break to pay & pickup the keys so I could pick up the car after work. I called the paint shop the day before to confirm the job would be done the following day. The next morning, I called them again to confirm that I would be coming on my lunch break. Surprise! when I arrived, I was informed that they only take CASH only for payment. Not once, ever did they mention this. Not when I signed the contract to have work done. Not when I called several times to confirm. Luckily, I was able to drive nearby to a branch of my bank. I thought this was very inconsiderate on them to surprise their customers. Not many people walk around with $300 or $400 cash on them. If I would have known about this, I would have made sure I had the cash on me upon arrival. Two lessons here: always get a written quote. Always ask what form of payment a business accepts prior to making the deal. Advice for this business: If there is a hike in price, be able to justify why.
