I ran the Second Annual St. Patrick and St. Joseph Day Party for our church, Our Lady of Mercy, last Saturday night, St.Patrick's Day itself , for over 165 people ranging in age from 8 to 90. Moreover, Dave has got a great welcoming , courteous personality that goes over the footlights and easily segues the party from announcements , calling tables for dinner and dessert and getting everyone on the dance floor . From the first time we spoke to Dave, you can immediately tell this wasn't just a "job" for him, it's his passion. We immediately knew he would be a good fit.  He takes what he does very serious and wants you to have an amazing experience.  He takes the time to understand your vision, musical preferences and program details. He is very knowledgeable and makes suggestions based on his experiences.  He has an amazing personality, punctual, and very organized. He is very detailed oriented and didn't miss a beat throughout  our wedding.  He even stepped in to help us with the reception entrance line up (something he didn't have to do) and im glad he did!  He saw an opportunity that could have caused stress on us and was quick to suggest something to make sure everything continues to run smooth. He does this cool thing at the end by gathering everyone on the floor to take a group photo, I thought that was amazing!  Also suggesting a bride and groom last dance was a perfect close out to our wedding day. DJ Afino was amazing for the #Phantangstic wedding! The highest praise I can provide goes to him. He was professional, prompt, helpful, and produced a quality product for my wedding. My wife and I felt that, without a doubt, David had the success of our wedding as his utmost and important priority. My husband and I wrote a list of over 12 DJ's for our August 2015 wedding. We were so overwhelmed and so many family and friends had continually added their recommendations to that list. Dave did such an amazing job for our outdoor rooftop wedding in Midtown NYC! We received many compliments on our choice of DJ! Our venue was a little bit challenging in terms of loudness of music and noise as we are on a Midtown rooftop, but that limitations did not stop Dave from throwing such an amazing fun wedding party! He had such an awesome selection of music and had everyone dancing nonstop! The night before the wedding, me and my now husband can't decide on what music for our first dance, dance with parents etc.. and Dave's suggestions are very impressive! it feels like we've been friends for years and definitely knows our styles! everything turned out so perfect! Dave at Afino Entertainment was our DJ for our end of the year work party held at a restaurant in NYC. He was absolutely amazing! We cannot say enough good things about him. Prior to the party we sent him a few songs to play and he played them along with other songs to fit our theme. The party's attendees were from 30-80 years old and EVERYONE had a great time. There was not a single unhappy partygoer. The next day everyone continually asked how we found the DJ because he was so fantastic. He even appeared to have as much fun as we were having, you can tell that Dave truly loves his job. He came early set up and started playing music as soon as his set up was complete prior to the party beginning. He brought lights, DJ equipment and giveaways. Dave went above and beyond for our wedding May 20th. We planned our wedding from San Diego, so distance was a struggle, but Dave made it seamless. We didn't even meet until the day of and I'm bummed because he was awesome! The uplighting was beautiful, he performed our pre-ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour and long extended reception. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and Dave used all of his wireless equipment. The crowd never stopped dancing and he read everyone's mood to keep the dance floor full. He even customized our first dance song, and managed to capture us completely. Music is a VERY important part of our lives and we're honored to say Dave was our wedding day DJ. My wedding was amazing and it's all thanks to DJ Afino! Dave gave my guest the time of their life. At the end of the night they kept asking me, where did you find him? He was phenomenal. He kept the guests moving all night! He was very kind and knew how to keep everyone entertained. Dave is super professional and is genuinely a great guy. We could feel how much he really cares about his clients and the music and will go out of his way to make your wedding as perfect as he can make it. He nailed all the little details about how and when we needed certain songs to be played during our reception. Since we had a daytime wedding, we didn't think we wanted to dance and also didn't think our guests would spend much time on the dance floor. We were so wrong! Dave is incredible! He dj'ed our wedding on May 7th at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ and did an impeccable job. He was amazing from start to finish, and made our day so special. His process is extremely streamlined, which helped make things easy for us. He has a great presence, and voice on the mic, is very easy-going and was a real pleasure to work with. He played all the songs we asked for and added to that vibe by filling in the gaps with his own additions. Everyone had an awesome time and danced the whole night. Just amazing! From the moment we spoke on the phone, I knew he was the DJ for our wedding. Wedding planning is stressful, and you really need to have vendors you can trust will get the job done...and Afino entertainment was exactly that. Anything I asked for, any concern I had, Dave responded right away with a solution and some other options. It really made the process so much easier and made the night such a blast! Afino deserves 5 stars across the board! Dave is amazingly talented and was the icing on the cake at our wedding! He paid close attention to details, like pronouncing the bridal party names correctly to editing our songs as requested. Dave just DJ'd my 60th Halloween birthday party! We had a great time and the music was great! Dave brought his energetic personality along with great music with him! Dave was the Dj of our wedding on 4.20.18. He was extremely easy to work with; just a few phone calls and a comprehensive questionnaire, he was able to perfect our set. Dave was Incredibly nice and responsive through the whole process! We spoke before the wedding and he knew what we wanted to hear, there were a few more slow songs than we wanted, but I was also feeling sick for a part of the wedding and he played the slow songs while I was catching my breath outside.
