Our tour guide, Cherylin, was great! She was very personable and outgoing and very knowledgeable about the wineries and the wine itself. We are a social group so the planned tastings weren't going as fast as normal, however we had a schedule to keep. Cherylin was wonderful about checking in with us and making sure we received the tastings we wanted and didn't pressure us to speed up to meet our timeline. She arranged to modify the tastings with the wineries as the day went on. We also arranged transportation through Anne for after dinner and that was well organized also. An honest mistake but was this a foretelling of what was to come? This walking food tour focused on Pike's Market and pretty much stayed in the area between Union all the way to Lenora St.. As you stroll through this historic waterfront area, our guide Jerry gave us many nuggets of trivia and information regarding the area both past and present. A highpoint of this tour (and the many competing tours in Seattle) is the food sampling from various shops in the market. From asian teas to samosas, from crumpets to chowder, from smoked salmon to pickle juice, from salmon burgers to gelato and more- this tour does give you a chance to sample the many edible delights of Pike's Market, and many are special samples you can only get on the tour. This tour offering was especially long, about 2.5 hours long. I understand most tours run about 1.5 hours long. I can't really say how this tour compares with others being offered but I would compare the samples being offered ( they can differ) and go with the one that has the goodies you'd like to try. We enjoyed this tour, our guide Jerry was a friendly, affable type of guy that made our "intimate" group of four enjoy our experience. The kicker for us was that we were able to use a group-on coupon so we only paid $29 per person instead of the usual $44. Because this is probably one of those kind of tours you would only go to once, I suggest you read the reviews (on Yelp of course) of the various companies, see if there are any discount coupons to be had, and make your choice. This company is one that should be kept in the mix as a possible choice.

As the groom, I took on "honeymoon planning," and to be honest, was struggling at it. Feeling overwhelmed, I reached out to Lexi, who in the past had planned a vacation for us in Italy (which was stunning). I was on the phone with Lexi within 24 hours, describing what we were looking for in a honeymoon and asking if her service would be a good fit for us. She was honest with us in what her service could provide, and we ended up giving her the keys to our honeymoon. It was perfect. Lexi was careful about respecting our budget, and with that in mind, gave us 3-4 realistic options for trips we could take. We settled on Anguilla -- an island I had literally never heard of -- with an extra stop in St. Martin, and it was everything we had asked for. Side note, if you enjoy beautiful beaches, wonderful people, relaxation and delicious food, go to Anguilla. The BEST part about working with Lexi is that the experience does not end when the planning is finished. Lexi was available to us throughout the trip, from packing and pre-departure, and then during the trip for things as simple as finding us the best rental cars, modifying our reservations while we relaxed at the beach, or finding the coolest little spots to explore. A final note on how helpful Lexi is - there was an unfortunate death in our family while we were on the honeymoon. Lexi was immediately available and helpful in evaluating our options and planning our return home.
