This store itself is simple and hidden (took me a while to find it) but AWESOME! There is a very large selection of traditional African items/merchandise to choose from :) t-shirts, long skirts, short skirts, headwraps, pants, jackets, jewelry, purses, handbags, books, essential oils, artwork, etc... Obe, the owner, was really helpful. He answered my questions and helped me find the headwraps to go with my dresses. A few words of advice... Set out a good chunk of your day to shop there. Set a generous budget for how much you want to spend. Why do that, you ask? There is a very large selection of clothing to choose from. Also, the items are *reasonably priced and of really good quality*, so you will end up spending more time and money than you intended too. Seriously, I spent over 3 hours there :) I also bought a lot of stuff, which I wasn't planning to do either. Side note: Overall, it was a great experience. I walked in and this place is loaded with for my Fraternity. I am here shopping for me and my line/pledge brothers a gift for our Fraternity anniversary. The selection was so large it took me awhile to decide. The owner was very friendly and allowed me try on some shirts and a sweater. Well I did buy gift for my brothers but I also but me somethings. The good news here is that they do have a layaway plan- and the owner will work with you. Now the store is full of merchandise. When you get there you will have to set aside some time for browsing. It really is a one stop shop when it comes to African clothing and accessories. I'm so glad I found this gem because so many places over charge for African head wraps. He only charges $5.99 if you look online for the exact same head wraps they'll charge you $20-$40 BEFORE tax. I knew that was way over priced. They also have the African style midi and maxi skirts and dresses for half the price other online retailers charge. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and go here before ordering the same exact product online for 5x the price. Also the owner is a very friendly and a down to earth guy. Who can beat great customer service! I've attached pictures of the head wraps I bought along with the store flyer.
