Has a terrible experience. Went in for a line up $20. Wow. $35 for a regular cut. If you are going to charge those prices, you better be worth it. This was my first time at this barber shop and it was not a good experience. I made an appointment for 4pm two days in advance. I arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment and my barber had a customer in his chair. When he finished with the customer he told me he was running behind and I would have to wait 15 additional minutes before he could get to me. I reminded him I had an appointment and he side that call in appointments are considered walk ins and he was going to cut some else's hair. He then said I can wait or have another Jr. barber the my hair. This displayed extremely poor customer service and it came across with an attitude. Unfortunately, this was just another example of how poorly some african-American manage their business and why AA have a poor business reputation. I wish him luck but I won't come back. read more

No other clients were there and their reasoning was they had a long day and they were tired. I wish I could close early at my job when I am tired but unfortunately I don't have that option. I was in search of a good barber closer to home for my two teenage boys, so we dropped in for haircuts. We'd been here a few times before, but after their barber left, we started going to a different shop. We didnt have to wait too long, which should have been a clue. Both of my sons wanted a tapered fade on the sides and back, but sort of in the shape of a mohawk. This guy butchered their hair badly. No fade whatsoever and the lines were so bad that my husband had to fix it as best he could, when they got home. It was so bad that I question whether the guy was even licensed and he had the nerve to charge $30! I could have done a better job myself! Never again!! read more

If I can give 0 stars I would, we used to come here last year and had a good experience with a man I forget his name, but that guy was no longer working here, the barber today didn't seem professional at all. I can't believe people are claiming this place is clean, professional, and a positive environment. They are very unprofessional. They have no respect for women and/or children being in their salon. They curse, have lude conversations, and show zero professionalism. It's unfortunate that they are the only salon in this immediate area that deals with African American hair. There are some good barbers who work there, but they should do a better job of making sure that the other men in the shop show respect when women and children are present. I choose to drive further to get my child's hair cut in a more professional environment because giving this shop any of my money is not an option. read more
