I hired afterglow cleaning for a move out clean when I left my apartment. I have pets and I am not much of a cleaner so I felt the need to hire help. They showed up and did an amazing job. I requested a deep clean. One of the employees who arrived at my home smelled strongly of marijuana. The clean was fair, one floor was not washed and rug not vacuumed, which they offered to fix. However I did not want another of their employees in my home. The worst is they chipped a glass lampshade on a wall sconce, one of 5 matching shades throughout the staircases of the house. They have offered to replace only the chipped shade, which would be an eyesore since 3 are quite near to each other on a spiral staircase. I was advised by my attorney not to pay until this was taken care of but, after another threatening message from them, I finally paid in full did just to get done with this horrible experience. I had a deep clean done recently by afterglow. I have never had a cleaning service clean my home, but with a toddler full of energy, both my wife and I working full time, me having a back injury, we decided it was time to hire a cleaner. The girls came on time and were very friendly and professional. Every room looked amazing. My wife pointed out that they cleaned things we didn't even know were dirty until after it was cleaned! It was so nice coming back to clean home and being able to just have family time instead of doing chores. I couldn't recommend the girls at afterglow more. read more

We had Gabby, Ebony, and Alyssa to our home today for a deep clean and they did an incredible job! I was honestly a little scared to let people see how messy my house was and they were so kind and thorough and put me at ease. They handled everything with such care and even lined up the little stuffies on my daughter's bed! My house smells amazing and SHINES top to bottom! we tried this company for a deep clean. the rates were fine and i would rate the clean a "B". would i qualify it as deep, no. i specifically asked for the cabinets and dining table to be wiped down and that was omitted. there were surfaces that were left unwashed, as well as areas that had been cleaned where dust, crumbs/dirt remained. Smaller furniture (like a shoe bench) was not moved to sweep around or behind. attention to detail was lacking - a good example was there was a dirty mark on the wall in our dining room that could have easily been wiped and was not, and the dresser drawers were not pushed all the way in. The rate was fair and i was sent a venmo request later that day. By 10:30am the following morning - less that 24h after being billed and the clean completed, I was charged a late payment fee, which no one explained to me in advance. i do not recommend this company and will not be using them again. read more

Aside from being an excellent and efficient cleaner, she was extremely accommodating to our change of plans. She was friendly and professional.
