Well all I can say is they were unreliable. I had an appointment on a Sunday morning where I drove into the town from 300 miles away. Appointment was confirmed on Sat night and her last text was " looking forward to meeting me tomorrow". Then on Sunday she no showed and was completely silent. I called l, texted, even called the additional number (her backup) to make sure everything was ok. And now it's been over a week and still no reply. I pray nothing bad has happened to her but leaving someone completely ghosted especially knowing I from out of town and leaving as soon as the documents were notarized is beyond a bad business practice. read more

I have really come to appreciate the convenience of a mobile notary, especially the service provided by Amy of After Hours Mobile Notary. I have used her several times, and each was a nice experience - instead of an impersonal transaction, it was personal service with a smile. Arranging appointments was super easy: it was possible to do everything through text. Then for the appointment itself, any questions or confirmations could be done by text as well, although calling is not an issue if you prefer that. Personally, being able to handle things over text is so convenient. Amy has a paralegal background which gives her business insight for questions that might arise regarding certain documents. I noticed some documents have a generic notary signature area which does not apply for California and which she is always prepared to handle. Once she came and my 90+ year-old mother, who had severe vision issues, had to sign a document. I booked her from FL to swear in multiple CA witnesses throughout the Bay Area to testify in a FL court room all at the same time. She immediately had a person stationed at each witness' home/office at 10am pst with extremely little notice. Every witness texted me that everyone showed up on time and was courteous and professional and prepared. When court was delayed, her crew stayed over till they were dismissed.
