I did my research on the HCG Diet both my talking with people and looking on Yelp. Called around to a few places who had great ratings but this office by far deserves all stars. Everything that everyone said about Richard is true which is the biggest reason I chose this practice. Even though drops are available on line and you think you maybe saving money - I was not going to chance it, not with my health. I wanted a real doctor to prescribe the REAL HCG to me. It's definitely a worth while investment. It was more than weight loss for me, it was a journey in learning commitment, self-discipline, and self-control. Yes it can be hard at times, but having Richard a phone call away makes a huge difference. Now here I am 33 pounds lighter, starting off the new year right while most wait till after the new year is over. I feel fantastic in every way. Don't wait to do it - you're worth it. Had a 2:30 appointment today for a "consultation" for weight loss. Haven't had a car since COVID started so it's mainly been public transportation (why buy a car when you can't drive anywhere?). According to my friend the LA bus system it looks like I'm going to be about 10 minutes late for my 2:30. Instead of being a stereotypically rude Angelino and just rolling in like nothing happened, I call them at 225 when it looks like I'm going to be late and there's literally no way to make up the time. I'm making the call from a bus stop waiting for a late bus but because I want to get there as close to the original time as possible I have also called a Lyft to the tune of $12 to be safe. The conversation: Me: "Hi I'm running a little bit late unfortunately, but I'm on my way." Surly Operator: "Well, how late...?" Me: "Around 10 minutes.." Long pause. I wonder if I lost connection, so I'm literally ending the call when I hear "O--" and the beginnings of a k sound so I'm off. That's also right win both the late bus and the lift show up (because FML). At 2:41 I'm buzzing to get up to the suite (it's an office building with one of those "dial a code to be buzzed in" things) but all I hear is a single beep and a click. I'm thinking that maybe I'm doing something wrong so I'm listening very closely to the speaker and yanking at the door whenever I hear the tiny beep. While I'm doing me gesticulations and trying to get in another guy comes up behind me waiting to buzz in. I step back and tell him to go for it. Turns out he's trying to call the same place and gets the same result. While he's trying the same thing I call the same phone number that I called to tell them I was late (where I'd smoking with the human before). And now it's going into voicemail. The second guy who's trying to get up into the suite shrugs his shoulders and says "well that's not good news. And when the doctor is in usually parks right there." And he points to the two spots right in front of the door. Both of course are empty now. And as slow as I am, that's when I finally realize I've basically been completely blown off. Now for a GOOD company, there were multiple options to handle a tardy arrival that was admittedly my fault. 1) tell me straight up on the phone that I need to reschedule when I call in to tell them I'm late 2) if I hung up too quickly before they could say so on the late call, they could have called me back or texted me 3) pick up the phone when I called upon arrival and tell me "unfortunately the doctor had to go." 4) leave a post it on the door that said "unfortunately doctor had to leave." 5) any combination of the above Literally any of those options were available and they chose the "go f**k yourself, potential future patient" one. If they're that bad with just communicating, pretty sure I don't really want to deal with them prescribing me anything. Going to try another place a little further east. This HCG program really works!! I lost 20 lbs in the first two weeks! The first week on the diet was tough HOWEVER.. When I would weigh myself & actually see results it was worth it! Now, I really like the diet & can see the benefit to good health & weight loss by eating this way! I've made some permanent diet changes & I will never go back! Sh-t I thought it might be shady too.....but I went to see her in March...meaning 7 months ago Two weeks later Boom...back in a 2-4 I'm about to go back, because I have been traveling non-stop last few months and my waist has expanded...I still fit my clothes BUT...it needs to be addressed soon... I also referred a friend in Newport Beach, she also thought it was shady till she lost 10 pounds in a week and shes in her 50's meaning post menopause... Love the guy who runs the front office, is it Richard? I'm horrible with names but he always remembers mine. He's really the person that you deal with most and he's been awesome. I've called several times to change appointments or to ask questions and he's always as great as the last itme. The doc, very sweet! I can understand his accent just fine. It's a no frills, no extras kind of place and that's all you need, really. I've lost 10 pounds in a week and feel fine. I was sick the first two days and I think it was an unrelated thing, but I haven't needed the appetite suppresants and my energy is just fine. Richard & Dr. Stern are the most helpful people I have come across in a doctors office. They are both SO thorough with explaining the HGC diet process and can answer any possible question you have. Though they give you the tools for successful weight loss, you have to be dedicated! I have done the diet elsewhere before, but it did not come close to the experience that I had at this office. The diet is hard at first, but as you see results it gets better. I decided to do the 40 day option, but took a break after my first 20 days. I went to the AG Clinic to begin the HCG Diet for the first time. Richard handles the calls and reception. He is amazing. He is professional and so very nice. Richard has been incredibly helpful and he shared his experience with me of being on the HCG Diet. He really took my fear away (40 days of a super strict diet of a daunting 500 calories daily and giving myself injections) and made me very excited to begin. Dr. Stern is also very kind, very professional. He was thorough when asking about my health, examined me and explained everything about the diet. Went here for my HCG. Did it once before with a doctor in nyc. Richard the receptionist is very nice and helpful. HCG is hard but it works. I use to weigh 225 and now weigh 167. I will do one more round and I am booked here for next week. I tried three NYC doctors and one was good. Dr G has an accent but I understand her just fine. Office is sparse but hey I am here for HCG and the price can't be beat. I prefer profiled syringes like the east coast does but again I think one bottle makes it cheaper. I saw Dr Arkady Stern at this practice ad he truely was a miracle!- Together with Richard at the front desk- who goes above and beyond to help you! I was at an end before I saw Doctor Stern and after a few visits he managed to fix all my hormone/ weight issues and I have now kept it off easily for nearly 6 months!! Dr Stern is clear, concerned and answers all and any questions without being patronising. Hes a great doctor that I now have recommended to many people! Richard is amazing!
