I came to Dr. Citrin in July 2024 after drastic changes in my weight, digestion, mood and mental clarity.  I have always been petite and have never struggled with unexplained weight gain, and up to this point in my life found slight changes in diet or exercise could make me shed weight easily.  In less than 3 months, I had gained 15# with no change in diet or exercise, and my GI tract  felt sluggish, backed up and bloated.  Brain fog was becoming a daily occurrence, and I felt like I was struggling for the first time in my own medical career. This practice has been nothing but unprofessional for the past 2 years that I've been introduced. The employees are robotic, unprofessional, and demeaning in every way possible. They have yet to ever contribute to doing their job. Every time I ask the simplest of questions, I've been given the run around and never called back or even responded back in a timely manner. They charge an arm and a leg for everything. They had the tendency to nickle and dime you for everything. They even impose a 3-4% charge for using credit cards. I've never heard of any establishment imposing that charge other customers or clients. You offer payment options as a convenience to people for your services. Staff is absolutely useless in accomplishing anything and huge revolving door here. At first I thought it's the staff then I realized it's the employer himself that is imposing all this as well as allowing his staff to be so inefficient. I can't waste my time or money here any longer. Please spare yourselves the time and money and go elsewhere where you are treated with respect and you get what you pay for. Never returning again. You leave multiple messages for the doctor to contact you and he never responds. The staff hangs up on you as you're still talking. I came to this practice because I wanted someone to teach me how to use the peptides that I had purchased on my own. I was told by the person on the phone who I believe was LAUREN that in order for me to have this done I needed to meet with Dr. Maria first. That fee for one hour consultation was $600. They said once I had my visit with her, I could come in and they would show me how to use my peptides. I ended up having a one hour conversation during which I received a hard cel from Dr. Maria to do an SOT. Despite the fact that I told her I had done three in the past several years ago and they did not work. She continued to go on and on about how I needed this treatment. When I told her I wanted to know how to use my peptides. She glossed over this and did not even address it. I was really uncomfortable that I wasted my money because I could not afford another SOT, which cost $3500 that they charge as well as me having to spend an additional $400 for the galaxy test and $100 for someone to come out and draw my blood. When I called and complained, they said they didn't know who I spoke with but that they only usually give Pepto assistance if you buy them directly from them. That's not what I was originally told. Then I was told after arguing with them in emails and on the phone that they were going to refund me my money. When I asked about the refund, they told me that she id no longer at the practice and that I would now have to go directly to her and get the $600. I told them I was not gonna do that and that I wanted the $600. Finally, they agreed to refund me my money back. They told me on February 13 that it was processed when I called on the 17th asking why it had not hit my bank account. Lauren told me that the holiday weekend would mean it would take a little bit longer. It is now February 27 and I still have not received the money. I had to file a dispute with my bank. She told me it was processed then and then when I called this morning Loren said that it was just processed this morning. So actually it was never processed in the beginning and I was given the runaround. They also didn't acknowledge my email that I wrote two days ago. When I spoke to Loren this morning, she hung up on me and said that's all they could do for me. I had asked to speak to the owner and she won't even let me do that. I'm still waiting for my $600 refund. I do not recommend going to this place. And I don't appreciate being hung up on and given the runaround and having an email ignored. I was a business owner myself, and if I ever had an unhappy client, I immediately took care of it, gave them credit for my services, and sometimes even sent flowers if needed. Not only that, but they don't have a place where they can draw blood. They send someone to your house. This place is not professional at all and does not follow through on their word. If I could give them no stars, that's what I would do. Also, she should've told me that it was re-processed today and that I could expect it within 3 to 5 business days, but I had to be the one to call to find out this information. Dr. Guy and the entire team at Citrin Wellness are absolutely phenomenal. I came to the practice seeking treatment for on-going gut issues, that had been (at best) poorly addressed through minimal testing only (i.e. a colonoscopy at age 30) ordered by a gastroenterologist, that resulted in absolutely no treatment plan despite results indicating levels of extremely high inflammation in my gut. Literally zero treatment plan was given to me other than telling me "you don't have Crohn's or ulcerative colitis"...so of course my slew of gut issues/ discomfort symptoms persisted. After years of discomfort followed by months of feeling completely hopeless and having zero idea how to help myself, I made the call to Citrin Wellness (referred by my partner) and had my initial session with Dr. Guy. Dr. Guy uses a holistic approach to treatment, beginning with a thorough assessment, and then the suggestion of various types of testing based upon your symptom presentation. I was never offered any of these types of tests through the many gastroenterology providers in the past. It was very scientifically clear that several of these tests (two of which were just blood tests alone!) would help the Dr. to get the clearest picture possible around what was going on. I was amazed that even prior to all test results coming back, that he was also able to provide me with some immediate instructions and supplements to soothe the gut while awaiting my results. The additions of the supplements and dietary adjustments were almost immediately helpful. It took about a month for tests to come back and he was able to develop a more comprehensive treatment plan that had me 75% better, the rest was up to me in my opinion, more in the realm of lifestyle changes- to change my diet to a more nutritious one! So I went ahead per his recommendation and schedule a session with Nutritionist Tihiana as I felt lost around how and what to eat to support my body. Tihiana is a superstar. I am seriously feeling 90% better at this point, mood wise I feel better than I have in years. My relationship with food has improved, and I see the value in investing in one's health and the positive ripple effect it has in so many areas of one's life. Thank you Dr.Guy, Tihiana, and to the FANTASTIC staff members such as treatment coordinators Lexi and Asa who were always available to answer questions, and express genuine empathy and kindness. Dr. Guy and Dr. Kim are incredible in their profession and treatment quality as well as being attentive to not only my needs but to all the patients. I'm an athlete without a sport, a weight lifter and fitness addict. I see doctor Guy for his regenerative medicine services. I've had 4 treatments in a row for my hamstring years that cause me issues in two different ways: one with chronic pain from the surgery I had for my 2.5 cm retracted tendon (ischial origin) in 2018, and on the left same spot that has compensatory tears multiple times throughout my 22 years of non stop extreme athletic life of lifting eating sleep repeating that I love. I went in to try this method with a sober mind, truly not a expecting miracles, more like "can I get it to less pain 24/7, from scale 1-10 a 6 instead of a 10? Citrin Wellness review I visited Citrin Wellness to have Dr. Citrin do a PRF injection in my knees and I am so happy and thankful that I did! I tore my meniscus about 6 months ago and the healing and rehab journey has been brutal so I sought out this treatment with the hopes that it would help with my recovery. I have been amazed with the transformation I have experienced in my surgical knee in just a few weeks since the injection. I am so incredibly thankful I found Dr. Guy when I did. He genuinely cares about his patients more than any doctor I've ever met and is so knowledgeable!
