Lengthy Post-- Austin quoted us $2100 to trim 2 of our trees. Which is fine, I know they are pretty big trees. Overall not happy. When we first were talking about the quote, we wanted all of the branches that were over the roof and over the neighbors fences to be trimmed as well, that is why we ended agreeing to that price. He only trimmed the ones hanging over our roof, and when the job was done he said if we wanted the ones trimmed over the fence, we would have to talk to our neighbors and it would cost more $$$$. All of the little sticks left in the yard front and back, branches left in both of our neighbors yard. And he told us "if they complain, I'll come back and clean it up." Don't get me wrong Austin and his associates were out there in the heat doing all of the work themselves, but I feel like this job was "rushed." The clean up of yards could have been done a lot better. And 2 of our roof shingles are broke, got cracked from a branch falling on them. When we messaged him to let him know about it, he told us that those were already there, which isn't the truth. ----(he ended up calling and saying maybe one of his guys stepped on the roof shingle and cracked it and he's going to have his roofer come out to fix it. He said everything was roped down and nothing hit the roof.) ---- We have a dent in our dog run from a branch falling on it. And I heard several other branches hit the roof as well while they were working. He said they didn't drop nothing which is BS. Just own up to it and admit you made a mistake. I was in the house and heard everything. Piece of our fence board was cracked as well and more branches/sticks etc., everywhere. ***They came back the following day and fixed the roof shingles and put a new board on the fence*** (not even a long enough board. And also another cracked board that I just noticed...and on my google doorbell camera it shows him raking the sticks/branches into our bushes lol. Learned my lesson. If you don't know, Oleanders are very invasive and poisonous to kids and animals. I had two oleanders in my back yard for the last ten years. We have cut them back many times and they kept returning bigger and bolder. I was fed up with them and needed them removed immediately. I found Ag Cuts on Facebook, I was hesitant to contact Austin as I thought my job was to small and that he would not have time to come take a look. I was wrong! He messaged back very quickly. We then set up an appointment for a quote. He was very prompt and well mannered. He assured me that he could permanently remove both oleanders and that he could clean up all the debris I had in the yard as well. He gave me a great quote and I decided to go with Austin immediately. We set up an appointment for that same week. He stayed in contact with me. He sent me a message when his other job ran over a bit. Austin and his helper showed up and they removed ALL of the two oleanders. They also removed all of the debris left over in my yard. Austin then went above and beyond by removing two other tree stumps that I had in my yard. My yard is now free from those horrible oleanders and looks amazing! We were very disappointed with AG Cuts. No professionalism and what a waste if time! We were quoted a price of $2200 & hired them to take out 6 trees. On the day of service, the owner, Austin, did not show up nor call. I finally called him after 3 hours to ask if they were going to show up, then he said he had an emergency but would show up later in the afternoon at 2:30p. At 2:30p, again, he did not show up. At 3pm, he called my husband and said he would show up the next morning at 8am. The next morning, he showed up 30 minutes late. This wasn't even the worst of it!!! He started to trim down the first tree. An hour into the job, he calls my husband and tells him that the job will be double the price, $5000. WHAT?! Needless to say, we told him we no longer needed his services. Do not even waste your time even calling this company. Horrible & unreal! read more

My mother-in-law's yard had become overgrown and needed a lot of work done to clear it all out. She had called a few other landscaping services, but they wanted to add a lot of extra charges over their base quote to cover everything that she needed to have done. AG was the only one with a straightforward quote (and a great rate), which was a relief to not have any surprises in the bill, and to know that they were going to make sure everything was taken care of in the service.
