I called them for a quote and they responded right away. They came out while we were on vacation to inspect the job. It was 5 trees we needed to be removed. One of the trees we had another company say they didn't want to take on the liability since it was over our neighbors roof. John texted me the price after he left and I thought the price was way too low.Specially cause I know the danger in the tree we needed removed. Plus we had a few palm trees along the pool and fence. They showed up today on time, nice looking equipment and ready to work. It took them half a day to cut all 5 down, grind the stumps and clean up. They were very respectful of our neighbors and our house. I ordered them pizza as they were working like animals. At the end I tipped them $800 since the other quote I received was $1200-3000 more than them. After reading one of the reviews they have about someone crying their price was high I wanted to laugh. Trying to find an actual licensed, insured and bonded person to do the work they do their prices were dirt cheap. After seeing the Yelp positive reviews.... I called John and Eddies Tree Care to see about the removal of a large tree limb that had broken and was dangling at a 15000 sq ft commercial office building. I had found that its difficult to find someone "knowledgable and professional" that has insurance and is bonded to do this kind of work. CHECK...CHECK...CHECK...CHECK!!!. Both John and Eddie came out to the building to review my sitsuation and provided me with a "reasonable quote". We discussed what needed to be done and I was very impressed WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND QUOTE. I ended up having them remove the tree in question and stump grind it's stump (which they advertise and do on all tree removals at no additional cost) In addition I had them remove another tree, top and trim 3 other trees and trim IN HALF a 200' long overgrown Oleander Hedge borderning the property. They were very professional arrived on time with a professional crew of 6 including John (who I give props as he worked right along with his crew) and they completed the work in the estimated time, and cleaned up everything like you never new they were there!!!!. Eddie came out to evaluate the situation with my trees, when I showed him the 63 year old maple tree in my front yard looking sickly- he knew right away that the issue was carpenter bees had burrowed into the tree and were sucking the life out of my tree. He also advised me that I did not have to cut down my gorgeous Modesto ash in my backyard in order for me to benefit from solar as we stood there and evaluated the sun working its way across my roof without any problem (in spite of what my solar contractor had told me).
