The issue was noted when we washed one of the (2) blankets and noticed the strings were loosening on one of the blankets. So as stated we visited the location so that we could express our concern. The lady at the counter would not allow my spouse to explain the problem and automatically blamed us for the defective product. The employee would not even examine the blanket for herself. The employee was very argumentative and stated that all items must be hand washed, our blankets did not have any type of instructions on how to care for them neither did the receipt describe otherwise. The blankets in question were not ruined we just wanted to be reassured on how we can have (1) of them possibly rethreaded? Unfortunately the Lady working the counter chose not to listen to the customer but rather argue and blame us. There were "Red Flags" from day one when we placed the order, since that day our blankets were over 10 days late and we never received a call from them, we had to contact the store and they told us their sewing machine was broken and that is why there was a delay?? A phone call would have been nice! More so the older gentleman who placed the order indicated that once the blankets were washed to not be concerned on how wrinkled they get but to make sure to have it ironed. Not once did he state they should be hand washed. On 05/24/16, The older gentleman was also there and admitted to us that he did not indicate specifically on how the blankets should be washed. Both women and older man were extremely disrespectful to my spouse, our new born baby and Myself. I was in total disbelief. I apologize for such a long review but we have never had such unprofessional interaction from a store that should be more mindful of their customers. The store sells what appears to be very nice Spaniard fabric clothing and other apparel and accessories for babies but as for the customer service and overall treatment you might as well go to a store front in the slums of Miami! Horrible experience! Stay away. They will kill you with kindness at first but once you give them your hard earned money don't expect them to help you with any type of exchange or return. We were not looking for a refund or a new blanket all we were looking for was a way to help fix the product and we were not given the opportunity to explain that to the people working there.

We arrived at 6:45pm and they close at 8pm. We walked around a bit and then a lady came up to us and told us they were closing in 10 minutes. We saw that it was 10 minutes to seven and asked if they didn't close at 8pm? She replied that they were closing early because they were having their holiday party and that they had a sign on the front doors. She also said that their Black Friday sale was 10% off. Of course the signs everywhere said 30% off. But how is 10% off a Black Friday deal?!? Ten percent!!??!! So, obviously we weren't going to buy a new living room set in 10 minutes. So we left and went next door to Rooms To Go and spent our $4500 there. So, I hope your party was worth losing a $4500 sale. I give two stars because I'm sure the furniture is nice. But I'll never know.

We were told one item was on backorder with an ETA in 6 weeks (mid-to-late June). No big deal -- our new home wouldn't be ready until late September/early October anyway. And then the circus began: July 15th: I follow up (because no one bothers to communicate) and am told ETA is now August. August 8th: I follow up AGAIN. Now it's magically moved to 9/1-9/11. I follow up AGAIN, and voilà -- now it's now been pushed back to mid-October and the item is now a clearance item that they cannot get! Oh, and surprise! Another item for another bedroom is also backordered until mid-October. But wait, it gets better. The manager calls me, says he's going to "look into it" and get back to me. Shockingly (or maybe not at this point), I never hear from him again. The next day, instead of a call back, I get an email saying my order was canceled -- because apparently he "wasn't getting a response" from me. So, after waiting FOUR MONTHS for furniture for THREE bedrooms and a living room, I'm now starting from scratch -- with 12 days until we move into our home out of state. If you're looking for a master class in poor communication, broken promises, and customer service that vanishes into thin air, congratulations -- you've found the right store. As my order was canceled while working with the manager on a work around, and I've made 3 payments for furniture that I never received or could receive, I would also like a refund for the interest paid - a total of $302.66.

    This complaint is not about the lines. I'm patiently…read morewaiting for my turn to fill up when someone taps on the hood of my car. I was about to be upset when I look up and see it's a BJs employee! He angrily motions for me to pull closer to the car filling up. Mind you, I'm about 4 feet from the car. I move a bit closer and he keeps aggressively telling me to get closer. Before he lets me be I'm like 1.5 feet from the car. Too close in my opinion. We are all there waiting, lines are long but I don't need someone knocking on my hood telling me what to do, if you are going to have an employee out there harassing us at least bring someone out there that is not ornary and making things worse. This time, the lock on the hose (or however the thing that locks the trigger on while pumping so you don't have to keep it pressed the whole time while pumping) did not disengage when the tank was full. Which means that my cars side ended up rained in wasted gas, the floor ended up with a pool of gas and my hands got soaked in gas while trying to unlock it, which while wasn't that hard, did take two or three tries of pressing/releasing until it unlocked... that is a waste of fuel, and a waste of the money you're supposed to be saving... not to mention it is probably a bit dangerous for humans to be covered in flammable liquids, even if they evaporate fairly quickly... Now, this is the firs issue I have in the Marlin Rd BJs, but considering the Coral Way BJ's sometimes has pumps about one-tenth of an ounce per hour (okay, maybe not that slow, but you get the idea), maaaaaybe they need to check their pumps are in working conditions more often.

Salesman said individuals couch would be 10 inches shorter. Had it delivered and it was not any shorted as Salesman stated. Way too long. They refuse to let us return it but will give us credit towards something else with $99.99 return fee. Salesman misrepresented lenth, his fault. Will never consider this place again.

    I've been to BJ's Optical before and had a great experience during my first visit for both my…read moreeyeglasses and contact lens exam. The gentleman at the front desk, Gene, was incredibly kind and helpful, and Jose, the tech, was patient, attentive, and professional. The lady at the front desk, Sheryl, helped me order my glasses at that time, and everything went smoothly. Fast forward to today -- I called to refill my contact lenses, and she was the person who answered the phone. The conversation started off fine; she mentioned that she couldn't find any prescription for me in their system and said I'd need to come in for a re-exam, but didn't offer to help schedule an appointment. I then mentioned that I also needed to refill my boyfriend's contact lenses and offered to provide his name and phone number. I had to repeat myself several times before she understood, which was fine -- it happens -- but I could tell she was getting irritated. Sheryl eventually came back on the line saying she couldn't find his information either. After confirming his phone number with her, she said it must be under a different number. I told her I'd verify it and call back to complete his order, but she cut me off with, "You don't need to call back, you need to come in to be examined." That was the end of that call. I later found the business card Jose had given me at my initial visit and decided to call the number on it -- which turned out to be the same main optical line. She answered again. I asked to speak with Jose and she responded, "No, you're not going to talk to him because I already spoke to you a couple of minutes ago and told you that you need to come in." I explained that I wanted to leave him a message since he had personally given me his card and told me to reach out if I had questions. She then said he was with a patient and couldn't speak right now. Again, I asked to leave a message, which she took, but when I tried to clarify my boyfriend's information again, she interrupted me mid-sentence to say that Jose had another patient waiting and might not be able to call me back soon. When I told her that she was being rude, her only response was "ok." For reference, my first call was at 4:11 pm and the second was at 4:24 pm today, 10/27/25. I truly hope management reviews these calls (which I assume are recorded for training and quality purposes) because this is not the type of customer service I expected based on my previous experience with this location. Ironically, my boyfriend called right after me -- and she transferred him to Jose. It's disappointing because everyone else at this location, especially Jose and the gentleman who helped me during my first visit, has been wonderful. However, after today's experience, I honestly don't even want to order my contacts or do business with them again. I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve the overall experience, as the rest of the team clearly cares about their patients.
