I popped into the Falls, as I had time to spare before my dental appointment near by. I decided to walk around the mall to see, what has opened and what has closed since the pandemic. I noticed this new store. Ahat a breath of fresh air - a nice unusual concept for this area, a vintage store. It is very nicely laid out, and worthy of visit. I love vintage, but I personally prefer to poke around myself to find my own treasures. But definitely a nice store for this area. read more

I have been a user of Twice vintage since they opened. They were nice people 6 years ago. Then over time I saw their behavior changing. I must say that it is a family business. The girl, Monica, became less friendly over time. not just with me but with everyone. She was so happy at the very beginning that I could bring so many items for her shop. When they decided to move from Sunset to The Fall, they became different. Very impersonal. sometimes the girl, didn't say hello and look at us with kind of disdain. That's why I decided to come and make deposits only when the mother, Carmen, was in her store. I always play the rule of using the money they should have given me by buying something else from their store. What you need to know is that they never make your listing deposit in front of you, they never check with you what they don't take and finally never check with you what they return. So if you give them very good expensive brands or new , you must know that they consider not being responsible for anything. A lot of errors have been made with my listing during all those years. i never said anything because i didn't wanted to be unfriendly. This week i was for the 1st time. I brought a new pair of shoes from my husband (not fitting him well) and i received a listing with the wrong article written on it. So i email Carmen to let her know but i didn't had any response. When i stop by one month ago they gave me in return the pair of shoes that was written on my listing but which wasn't mine. Nobody responsible was there when i pick up the return. Then i was not able to stop by the shop for 2 month as it is located very far from me. Yesterday i pick up my unsold last depot and i bring Carmen the pair of wrong shoes. She simply told me that she was not responsible for the article ! The end of the story is that i kept the wrong pair of shoes, because no reimbursement or compensation was proposed even when i asked . This is pure theft. For me and for the owner of the pair of shoes. Take care . always make pictures. And i must add that the old blonde girl is very unpleasant and looking at you like a hawk. read more

Not a bad selection but not well organized. Plus the salespeople aren't nice, they watch you like a hawk as if you're going to steal and lock up the fitting rooms. There's one older woman who is super rude who thinks she is better than the customers. I'll stay away from now on. read more

Shady, shady! Do not do business with this consignment shop. If you should leave any of your things for them to sell, be sure to take photos and keep a record of everything! Be ready to be avoided and scammed. If you call to get information on your things, the salespeople will tell you that only the manager can give you info...yet the manager is NEVER there, I called several times and she did not call back despite leaving several messages. When she does, it was with a terrible attitude...most unprofessional. I went to retrieve my items, and they did not have the proper record of sale or payment and if I didn't know what I had left, I would not have gotten it back. They said they sold some shoes... which was on my record of sales, and when I went to get payment , they said the payment was for another item...an expensive Veronica Beard sweater, which I know was much more expensive. So I was ripped off on that. She then just guessed an amount to give me for the shoes, right out of the register without any proper sale invoice, which shows they didn't have any record and probably not the right price either. Not to mention, everything in there is very overpriced. Bad experience!! read more

I was a customer of this vintage store for many years going back to their previous two locations prior to their relocation at the Falls. The first few years were not a bad experience although I always thought it was not businesslike to not be issued a list of the items at the time you were consigning them. The list would be sent to you sometime later, so unless you had taken a picture of the items, or had a very good memory you were somewhat in the dark as to the legitimacy of the list. As the years went by, the attitude of the owner as well as her employees became quite rude and worst of all, I began to notice a lack of transparency on the lists of the items you had dropped off, sold items etc. In some cases, some of the items consigned to the store did not appear on the list provided to you. Whenever, you dare to make an inquiry, you would be treated in the most unfriendly and unethical manner. It is truly sad to see this type of business treat the source of its revenue, the consignors, as if they are a nuisance or as if the store if doing them a big favor. Although I still have some nice items for consignment, I would never reconsider working with this store again. read more

Ok 24 hours later and am still feeling with excitement over finding this store. I was initially hesitant to go in not sure why but best decision ever. They have a wide selection with different price levels and everything seemed pretty reasonable. I bought gifts for my friends and everyone was so happy. This is my fave store right now and can't wait to pop in there again soon!! read more

Love this place. I bought a dresser from 1910. I fell in love as soon as I saw it. The owners are very kind and they held the furniture until I could get a truck like 3 days later. Will definitely be dropping by again and again to see what treasures they have. read more

This is a cute little store that immediately stood out to me. Stepping inside, anyone can immediately notice that the store is very well organized and the pieces are well thought out. As a fashion major with an area of interest in vintage fashion, I browsed hoping to find something that would catch my eye. I stumbled upon some recipe cards that I actually did need and held onto them while I continued to browse and waited for my significant other (who had the wallets) to arrive from another store. Upon his arrival, I wanted to show him around the store. The clerk (owner's daughter) approached us hastily wanting to "hold on" to the recipe cards at the front. A little odd to do so suddenly but I prayed I was just misinterpreting the situation at first. We continued to look around, quietly discussing the items until it came time to check out. The clerk from before asked if we wanted a bag. "Ah actually, what's in that bag there? Can I just see?" A Panera paper bag filled with: a water bottle, a cup of fruit, and my wallet. My s/o and I are both black, so sadly we're well-experienced to knowing obvious microaggressions (assumption of criminality in this case.) I was praying I had fully misread the first situation but the second one, immediately after making a purchase that I now regret, confirmed what I was hoping I got wrong. I had not once interacted with the store owner, but her daughter behind the counter has left a bad taste in my mouth and soured my view of the store. Nice little interesting place. The lady by the counter is such a sweet person who just brings a smile to your face...and also gets you into the buy due to her ability to tell you what she knows about the piece you are buying. Place has a real eclectic assortment of items...from furniture (looks old/antique) to clothes, shoes and decor. Bought two items while here...a royal daulton cat figurine and a wooden cat figurine because I have a family member who just loves all things cat...nice gift for a very good price. There is no place like this in Miami. Large and well-curated, you can spot a pair of last season's Prada shoes next to a vintage Courreges leather handbag and inches away from a collectible work of art. Eclectic in the very best way. From funky jewelry (some 80s fabulousness, some 50s Havana) to evening gowns and furniture this adventure of a store is laid out very much like most of us live. Well, the most fashionable, funky, creative of us, anyway. Carmen, the owner, is usually behind the counter passionately recounting the stories behind many of the items. She gets fashion and history and is always on top of the shop's order and cleanliness, a rare thing to find in a consignment store. Set aside a bit of time because there is a lot to see. I usually have to do two or three sweeps to catch all of the details. If you are a consignor, bring your best stuff, Carmen is picky but open minded. If time permits, you can have a yummy lunch next door at Delicias de España. If you are visiting Miami from out of town, be sure to visit this place. It's an okay shop. The owner is really nice and from NYC, but the brands in there weren't amazing. I saw a few from lower end stores, and I was expecting more of a DvF, Theory sort of vibe, but I saw things that were not properly looked over. It was a bit of a hodge podge mess in the store. I don't think I'd go back. Parking was confusing as well, you have no idea where you can and cannot go, as it's not in an ideal location. I am so happy that I stopped by this little hole in the wall on Bird Road. My best friend told me that she had consigned some of her funky awesome clothes! The store is tiny but the selection is great! They only buy/sell very upscale brands (think DVF, Gucci, Fendi, Ferragamo, LV) and everything is in amazing condition. Also, they only consign women's clothing- no teen, mens' or baby clothes! The owner, Carmen, is exuberant and enthusiastic about what she does; she knew various customers by name as they walked in the door. Although she offered to buy a few of my pieces, she suggested that I check out another consignment store -- I went to the other and they bought almost double! I will definitely be shopping (and hopefully also consigning!) at Twice! It is the perfect place for an upscale shopper who has a strong sense of style and no time to sift through worn and tattered cast-offs! Carmen will do it for you! P.S. I love this store! I read the great reviews on Yelp and decided to check it out. I needed a dress for a black tie event and had been looking for the perfect dress for weeks. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so helpful. I explained that I was looking for a formal dress, they asked me questions and helped me pick out a few options to try on....and the first one was perfect. If only all of my shopping was that easy!! I take issue with the way they chose to name their shop "Twice"- its resemblance to "Miami Twice" (which has been around for over 35 years, and is amazing) is a BIT too much for me. I'm visiting and I thought the two must be related due to the names and when i found out that there is no shared ownership I was shocked. I have given my items to consignment stores for years. I can speak objectively when I say this was the worst experience I have ever had with a second hand store. Carmen, the "owner," is condescending and cold. I gave glasses to her for resale and she returned them to me without the case or cleaning cloth. When I expressed my concern, she jumped at me telling me "I'm sorry you're so upset." She then proceeded to help another customer and ignore my existence in her store. What bothers me is that she doesn't realize that without customers... She has no product!!! I hope she can fix her attitude..... And I hope she finally decides to invest in decent air conditioning. read more

I had a terrible experience dealing with Twice. I feel I was cheated out of my compensation for the items I brought in that included clothes, purses, shoes and costume jewelry. The owner, Carmen, had many excuses for not returning or paying me for my items, such as they were lost or stolen. I would never leave any items at this store again. read more

The shop is not closed but rather moved down the block on 57th Avenue just south of Bird Road on the west side. It is better than ever. It now has furniture too! Just went today and purchased a beautiful silk long sleeve blouse and black blazer - both for just under $100! Can't be beat. The owners sense of style is impeccable and she will guide you to your best look but never pushy. it might be a good place to buy something if you cannot afford it at its original price, but if you give them something to sell for you it is another story, they do not treat you the same way as if you are buying, they need to remember that without stuff they will not have a business. It is very difficult to get your money from them for any items you have left to sell, if you do not ask for your items, they never pay you or let you know what happens and they believe they are experts at valuing the stuff and I can tell you, they are not, they will not buy a very expensive purse from me, yet they bought something I had bought for $5.00 for $50.00 because "the expert Carmen" thought it was "very exotic" , they need to change their business practices when it comes to buying stuff and definitely their attitude all around, they think they are better than anyone, and they should think about it, if they were, will they be in this business and trying to cheat people from their money? I will never sell anything to them again or buy anything from them without really needing it, they make you think all of their stuff is very exquisite and some of it is really not, you can get it better at good will and for a lot less money read more
