You can read the bios and choose who you would like to work with and then choose an available appointment day and time. We chose to have our six year old's ears pierced here because of the cleanliness, friendliness and professionalism. It's important to note that if you're piercing your child's ears, go to their website and read it first. You need to bring a copy of the child's birth certificate and pay a reservation fee. The website provides lots of helpful information. Once we arrived for the appointment, I was impressed with the relaxed yet lovely setting. There are several display cases of various body jewelry. Merchandise is also available. And there are two seating areas. We were greeted immediately by a friendly employee, checked in and then we met with Barron who is a professional body piercer. He was very informative, patient and professional. The private piercing room was very clean and several steps were taken to ensure sterilization. The piercing process was efficient. Barron explained his process and followed up with aftercare information to ensure her new piercings healed correctly. Now, when it comes to piercing, you get what you pay for. The service and jewelry at Born This Way is more expensive than a say a business offering a piercing gun and nickel-free jewelry. But, Born This Way provides a safe, clean, welcoming environment. You work with a knowledgeable professional piercer and the jewelry is titanium and very good quality. We are very pleased with the whole experience and everyone we worked with at Born This Way.

I got my first ever piercing here about two years ago: a nostril piercing. I was brand new to the…read morescene, so I had no idea I needed to lean my head back when getting pierced, and my piercer didn't tell me I needed to do so. Well the needle goes in and I accidentally flinch a little bit. Clearly annoyed, my piercer told me she had to redo it because I moved. With tears in my eyes and blood trickling into my mouth, I leaned my head back while she re-pierced the hole. After a year, I had a little scar around my piercing, but I just tried to ignore it. Cut to another year later, and because of that scar, I'm still having tons of trouble with this piercing. I'm really frustrated because now I have many other piercings from different locations and I haven't had a single problem with any of them. I'm really disappointed and frustrated with this place :(

My sister went first and was a bit nervous but Bruce Lee (yes that's his name) made her feel super comfortable. He does amazing line work and she was in and out of there super quick. After her, he called me in and I am so grateful to have been placed with him. Bruce is not only an amazing artist, he is a gentle/kind human and such an amazing soul. He had us laughing the entire time we were there and we had some amazing conversations.
