One week after they put the new jewelry in, my ear was purple and swollen because they put too small of a hoop in and it cut into my ear. My ear had started growing over the jewelry entirely!!! Nick payne knocked my chest centerpiece out of the park along with a few other tattoos he's done for me, 10/10 phenomenal artist. Seve Wolfe is also an amazing artist as well, the guy is a madman when it comes to crazy lettering. He knocked out the stomach piece for me recently and did an absolutely amazing job. Madison jasso pierced my nose with little pain and was very quick and professional with the job. I wish I could leave 0 stars!! I got my nose pierced here about a year ago and I had to remove the piercing for a surgery. I went in the next day ( before I was supposed to be driving again) and they had no one there who could put it back in. Sounds stupid but I went with it and came back the next morning. I waited an hour to be seen by this wonen who stabbed me in the nose for 10 minutes without any success. And then she got mad at me because I asked for a discount on re-piercing since they were not there the prior day and couldn't fix it this day. She laughed at me and got an attitude when I told her thank you. Avoid this raggedy a** hole in the wall and her terrible attitude(apparently it's her shop). They also pierced my sisters belly button crooked so good luck if you choose to go here. Go to ambition instead, they were able to get the jewelry in in no problem and with half the pain! read more

This place was the worst mistake ever for piercing! I went in three weeks ago for a cartilage piercing and I can't remember the guys name who pierced me, but he was a big dude with a beard. This guy had no idea what he was doing. He pushed the needle through, then stuck the earring on the end but lost the earring as he tried to push it through my ear. So instead of putting the earring back on the needle, he tried to push it through without it. He couldn't get it, it hurt HORRIBLY and this was not my first cartilage piercing! Eventually he got it through and I left. When I got home I realized the ring was kind of tight around the outer edge of my cartilage but thought it was fine. I kept an eye on it for the past few weeks and nothing was wrong. But I realized I had crust forming around where it was resting on my ear, so I took a closer look and saw that the ring was CUTTING into my ear! It was RAW!! I went to another piercing place today and they thankfully were able to replace the ring with another one. But when they took the ring out, it looked like the cartilage on the side of my ear had been sliced open with a knife. The guy at Hard Knox didn't know what he was doing! He didn't recommend the type of ring or stud to get and he should've realized the ring was too small for my ear in the first place. I will never return!! read more

No one in this shop was wearing a mask. The guy who pierced me didn't sanitize before sticking such a thick needle in my lobes, and it hurt so bad. Not to forget that he had open wounds on his arms and had blood dripping down them while he pierced me.. so unsanitary. Never going here again. read more

I had a flower tattoo done here a few years ago and it looks awesome and I'm still happy with it but the artists on the other hand were a dif story.. they were both men the one who did mine had glasses and his girlfriend was also there when I got my tattoo and it was so weird because he would break and kiss her etc.. the guy that did my tattoo wasn't friendly and neither was the other guy working. they do pretty good tattoos but those two guys could use an attitude adjustment if they are still there. read more

I highly recommend this place ,specifically Rockwell,for any of your piercing needs. (Sorry,I have no experience with the tattoo artists here). I had my daith piercings done here & he made what I was informed was possibly the most painful of piercings ,almost nothing. It was similar to getting the lobes done it just took a bit longer to get the needle through. The pain disappeared almost instantly, the entire studio is immaculately clean,everything is sterile and the staff seems very professional. If I could leave a negative star for this business I would; the service I received on my last visit doesn't even merit a no-star. My sisters and I all have tattoos and had been getting them here for years, but after yesterday I can guarantee that none of us will ever return to this place. On Tuesday I walked in to see about getting a tattoo that afternoon or making an appointment for later in the week. The big guy behind the counter showed me the appointment list and told me they were booked until Friday evening. I left the shop and called back about fifteen minutes later after thinking about it and told the guy I wanted the Friday evening slot. He said it wouldn't be a problem and he took my information down. Last night my sister (Who wanted to watch) got there before I did to let them know I was on my way. One of the women there told her that my info hadn't been taken down and that someone else had the slot that was supposed to be reserved for me. The entire time this was happening, the big guy from Tuesday hid around the corner, apparently "on the phone", and refused to come out to talk about what happened. In the parlor a small, blonde female artist (I didn't bother getting her name) was working on a tattoo while cursing at us and telling us she wasn't doing "any more F***ing tattoos that night". She also made it seem like it was our fault and made a big scene about a deposit not being put down. The big guy I spoke to on the phone never made a mention of a deposit while I was making the appointment. Rather than try to work something out their attitude was one of "Oh well, sorry not sorry". I travel for work, and this week I had been planning on getting the tattoo done because I was in town a little longer and had time to let it heal a little before heading back out on the road. Getting a tattoo is a decision that most people tend to really reflect on before making the decision to go through with it. To those people, I highly encourage you not to waste your time with this facility or its unprofessional and inconsiderate staff. Like I mentioned at the start of my rant, we had been going here for years, but because of our treatment last night no one in my family will ever be stepping foot in there again.
