Caught them trying to pull a fast one. I made an appointment with Brad and left my $100 deposit. Not even two days later, I was getting my central AC unit serviced and was told it would have to be replaced immediately. I contacted Brad and told him I needed to cancel indefinitely (this was a week and a half before the appointment). He never said he worked on the design and then said it was shop policy that deposits are nonrefundable. I go to the website and screenshot the blurb about deposits and the word "nonrefundable" was nowhere to be found. THE NEXT DAY, THE WORD "NONREFUNDABLE"WAS ON THEIR WEBSITE IN BOLD LETTERS. Nice try, dude. I messaged the owner, Doc, and he gave me the same crap story, even when I pointed out that was never in writing on the website. That's how you run a business?! Avoid this place! Stopped in while on vacation to see if we could grab two tattoo appointments and it just so happened that two artists had no-call, no-shows at that time. The shop is fantastic and I loved the layout with multiple artists in one room. Both of our artists were 100% game to work with us on our sketches and preferences; pricing was a little high, but worth it for the quality work. This place is overpriced, and you just pay for their name. It isn't worth it unless you're getting your first tattoo. I got this falcon on my ankle and some basic writing on my shoulder, and don't get me wrong the tattoo is nice, but I've gotten nicer and larger tattoos that were cheaper than this. But my previous tattoos were all done in San Francisco, but you'd expect tattoos there to be more expensive than this place. The guy who did my tattoo also seemed annoyed by being there. Very unhappy. right before Covid my daughters purchased a gift certificate for me. It was for $150. I recently called to redeem my coupon and I was told that they would not honor it because it's over one year old. I expressed my concern with the person on the phone and told them that nowhere on the gift certificate does it say or show an expiration date. I still can't believe how rude the little guy manning the front counter was. He was hostile and condescending from the moment I walked in the door. I came in to talk tattoos an hour before they closed, but they were closing early that night and I guess didn't have time for me. Worst tats I've seen anywhere and on anybody. This place was filthy, dark, uncomfortable, and the people were super rude. I was quoted $150.00 an hour for 2 tiny tats on my wrists. Both of them took less than ONE hour. Neither of them were done with the correct needle and both were blown. What a total waste of money on tats that look like crap and black leakage all around them that will never go away because Cooper can't hold a needle straight. They transferred like they were supposed to look in the pics I brought but "Cooper" (the owner) does such sloppy work that no one can tell what they are. The first one says "trust no one" but he ran the words together so you can't make out what it says. The second one was supposed to be a cat inside a treble cleft musical note and he screwed that one up even worse. No eye on the cat which should have not been inked and a filled in tail which should have had no ink at all in that area. Check out the pictures I posted. These were my first tats and he screwed them both up, then overcharged me. No wonder he wrapped them so fast and got the hell outta there so quickly. After showing my friends, family and even people I've met that I don't even know, girls at the mall, etc., they said the same things. "Doc Cooper is rude, mean, and sucks" as an "artist". He's old and burnt out. He was leaving when I was pulling out and it had been exactly one hour so he rushed through both of them and left. They transferred perfectly but a 5 year old could stay in the lines better than he did. Whenever people ask me about them, like what is that, or what does that say, I tell them that Cooper at Saint Tattoo screwed them both up and to go anywhere else, never to waste your time or money there. Came here to get my brother a tattoo for his upper arm that I was giving him as a birthday present. The place is kind of hidden but a good GPS got us there. As impressions go, I was please to see a very we'll kept place and very clean. We made an appointment with Cory, came back to see him the following Saturday for a consultation. My brother explain what he wanted and showed him some pictures. We wanted a tattoo of his name to be cover but Cody said that would just not be very good due to the boldness of the tattoo. We really appreciated his honesty, as trough the work he always told my brother whenever he thought that something would not look good. We came back the following Saturday and witching a few hours he got the tattoo completed. It was a city with a big moon on the top. The building where kind if cartoonish with lots of stars and clouds. He got the name tattoo incorporated in to it to where it actually looks very cool with the rest of it. New to the town, looking for tattoo shops, it's no doubt this place has some great artists but I had to write this review. I called for a consultation they said to email them, so I email them, no response. I email them again just in case they didn't receive it, nothing. I directly emailed the artist I wanted, still nothing. I direct messaged their page on Instagram, they read the message and never replied, so I call them again and nothing. I seriously don't know how a business can do that great at ignoring clients without deliberately trying their hardest. I had to have my ear repierced bc she messed it up and it wasn't symmetrical. I wasn't upset at first bc I can't imagine that it's easy and she felt bad and offered a discount. But when I went back to get it redone a couple weeks later it still cost a lot (and I think she forgot about the discounts she promised) and she gave me a broken post on my other earring so it popped out within minutes of leaving. It's been an annoying experience, taken forever for a simple piercing, and there's been too many mistakes. I never leave reviews but I just feel like this was an unnecessarily stressful experience where I paid a lot for mistakes and broken jewelry. Got my second tattoo here. It covers my entire right shin. Matt did an amazing job, and he is by far my favorite artist there. Had to wait about 2 to 3 weeks to get an appointment if that says anything. Took about 4 and a half hours to get done, and he was fine with letting me take breaks. I went in for a tattoo back in October at saints. A couple months go by and I am on the table to get another tattoo done at my hometown. The artist lets me know that It needs to be touched up. I haven't thought much about it but if another artist says something, I probably should. I head into saints and ask them about a touch up and they told me to have a seat in the waiting room. Once I sit, the artist who originally did my tattoo came out and told me "This is what dot tattoos look like, you didn't say you wanted a dark tattoo" (keep in mind I never said anything about dot work when I originally got the tattoo) and continued on saying tattoos look different once it heals. Obviously I know this because I have several others. The problem was half of my tattoo was great and the other half I could see my skin as if there was missing ink. They made it seem like it was my fault and I was just coming in for a completely "new tattoo." I told them to forget about the touch up and I would rather go somewhere else to get it fixed but they seemed completely careless. read more

I went to Saints because I heard they had a good reputation. I had a very small tatoo the left side of my right foot that I wanted to cover up. It was a very badly done Jesus fish. I spoke with one of the female tattoo artists, sorry didn't catch her name. She barely looked at my tattoo, told me there was very little she could do, other than fill the "fish" in as solid black. I asked if she could put flowers or something around it to make it look nicer, and she said that she could NOT because of where it was. I asked if she would show me on my foot what she could do, with a pen, and she said "we don't do that here". OMG, how am I suppose to know what it will look like, if she wouldn't even show me what she was talking about???? I left Saints very unhappy and went up the road a few miles to a place called "Hard Knox" tattoos. Not only did they make me feel welcome, they took me and showed me several ways they could cover up my old tattoo. Shawn put a beautiful pink dogwood blossom over my old tattoo and it is absolutely beautiful! The girl at Saints obviously didn't want to fool with me. That's ok, from now on I will use Hard Knox and all of my friends will too. I have already sent several there for tattoos. I guess Saints just doesn't care if they get business or not! read more

Brad Loveday was my tattoo artist, and he was excellent. He gave me a moment to acclimate myself to the environment, he asked me several questions and really listened to me, and he was completely professional throughout the entire experience. This was a second visit to Saint...not knowing it was under new management. Back home in Connecticut, my daughter and I just returned from having out tattoos repaired one month later. Unfortunately the ink that was accidentally injected under my shin around the tattoo will be with me permanently (which is magnified by the fact that the tattoo is on my hand) .Some lessons are more costly than others and this one was very expensive. The tattoo I came out with was NOTHING like the one I had planned on. Thankfully there are tattoo parlors that can fix inferior work. I would never return to Saint Tattoo. Live and learn. read more

I visited Saint because I had only heard great things. I went to get a cartilage piercing, and the man who did it is what made the experience. I'm not the tattoo type so going to a tattoo parlor kinda weirded me out. The room was as sterile and clean as a doctor's office-- which is very relieving. He explained the whole process (I'm very wary of needles) and then pierced my ear. I'm not gonna lie, it hurt so bad, but that is irrelevant. Afterward he was talking to me about taking care of it, keeping it clean, changing the earring, etc, and I passed out. (This happens to me with needles) He was so calm! He laid back the chair, elevated my feet, got me a coke to raise my blood sugar, and the whole time while I was apologizing and embarrassed, he didn't make me feel estranged at all! He let me take as long as I needed to recuperate and didn't try to push me out the door which has been many of my friends' experiences at other parlors. The piercing is great with no complications, the pricing was very reasonable, and the service was unmatched! I would not recommend anywhere else in Knoxville! read more

I chose Saints because of their good reviews. I regret it! I went in February to get a simple bold cross on my ribs. Paid $80.00 which I thought was a little high but I wanted it to look good so I didn't hesitate.Plus i tipped him. Corey was my artist and my girlfriends that got a word on her wrist. After it healed ( and I must add I followed all the after care instructions) I noticed it was blotchy and missing ink in several places and had faded a lot. It was out of line towards the top of the cross and I could see the lines of ink running through the middle part of the cross. I knew it was normal to have it touched up afterwards. I made an appt showed up they didn't have me down ( their goof up) so I had to reschedule finally another 2 weeks After the touch up the tattoo looked exactly the same! I was so upset. I was embarrassed to even show anyone my new ink. I made another appointment for a 2nd touch up. I was 15 min late so I had to reschedule. No big deal I knew he had to move on to his next customer. He never bothered to come out and speak to me when I saw him walk by. I asked the receptionist if he hadn't started yet would he come out and take a look at it and explain to me why it looks so faded and had skin showing all through the ink. He agreed. He barely glanced at it and said" you know it wont be as black as it was when you first got it" Uh yea duh but it's April and you just touched it up 2 weeks ago. He said well your bra must be rubbing it. I pulled up my shirt.. uh no its not it's below my bra strap. He then tells me " I'm doing you a favor for doing the touch up for free" Well that was it! No I am doing you a favor by not walking around with a crap tattoo that has your name on it. I left went to Wicked Ink on Clinton hwy. A lady took me right in and fixed it for me only charging me $40.00 and I tipped her 20.00. The tattoo has just healed and it looks amazing! solid dark cross, no peachy skin showing, its nice and sharp lines and I am very pleased. I do not suggest Saints what so ever. They could careless about how it looks and could care less about your business with them. My girlfriend had to go back for a touch up from Corey as well. Appt time was not logged and she had to reschedule and they make you feel like a burden when you need a touch up! read more

I had heard a lot of great things about Saint Tattoo before going the first time. The first time I went, I worked with Corey and he did a fabulous job on a tattoo on my back. I went back about 9 months later and worked with another tattoo artist on a tattoo on my foot. Within a few weeks, the tattoo began to fade near my ankle. I emailed Saint asking if I could come in and have them make recommendations on ways to fix the tattoo. The email that I received in return said "We always tell people not to get tattoos in that location". If they were certain about that, would they feel the need to tell me? I was not told that the location would be a problem. Now, I have to get the tattoo fixed. Mistakes happen, but I'm not going to argue with someone who will be applying permanent art to my body. Had they simply said "Come in and we'll look at it". I wouldn't have this terrible sense of being wronged. read more
