No Mary Poppins magic needed when ya got these folks!…read more We had issues with our roof exiting dryer vent. Heck, we had a whole subscription! That's where this review is heading too! Right on time, as scheduled, Joe quickly assessed what the likely culprit was. (I was stumped as I'd already thoroughly cleaned out the vent from the wall to the roof. PLUS, I'd completely disassembled the dryer). He climbed up on the roof and immediately found an inner screen on the dryer stack that was completely plugged! He removed the screen while I turned the dryer on and Voila! We have liftoff! LOL And since there is a working one-way flap inside this stack there was no need to replace that lint catching screen. Problem solved! He didn't charge for the call but I got him to take some gas money. Funny, but I realized I had used them way back in 1997 right after buying a house in Ridge Manor. And they're still sweeping folks off their feet! Tell them John and Beth sent ya!

They told me my system was completely shot and that it would cost me 25K to repair. When we balked, they said they could cap it off so we could put in a gas or electric model. They said it would be $5,000 to close off the chimney and it would never function normally again. We called another group of chimney repair people. They said my system was in mint condition, raged at what these men tried to pull. My wife still wanted to install an electric. They did a professional cap for $225 and left it easily restorable to full function. DO HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Last time they showed up right on time...good thing we were ready to receive them! This father/son team (there's another brother who was here last time) got right to work cleaning both chimney and dryer vent. As previously was the case, we received honest and straightforward service, pricing and explanatory feedback from the first moment. They also stopped what they were doing as soon as they noticed a problem they were not even looking for. Specifically, the flue liner had a crack/hole in it which would make further use of the fireplace TOTALLY unsafe. They documented the whole thing and didn't even charge me a single cent for the fireplace work, despite having started the cleaning. I was charged very reasonably for the dryer flue, which was somewhat dirty/filled with lint but not dangerously so. They further advised me of an issue regarding the dryer vent. Long story short, I've used these folks before and once the chimney is deemed safe for use I know I'll use 'em again! They didn't like being the bearer of bad news anymore than I liked receiving it. Unfortunately the grill doesn't fit the cabinet, it's too big and sticks out in the front of the cabinet. When I complained about this to Hose, his response was that he didn't install the grill and cabinet therefore it was my problem. His lack of product knowledge and lack of customer service is shocking and I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this company at all. I spent a lot of money on this set up and relied heavily upon Jose's recommendations for my outdoor kitchen and the fact that it turned out terribly is his fault. Stay away from this company!
