A family I assist with caregiving arrangements for their mother found Agape Home Care and they have been using these wonderful, qualified and friendly caregivers for over a year now. There was never any "buyer's regret." Eva and the Agape team were outstanding.. We had the unfortunate opportunity to have to use their services twice within 6 months. First, When my mother was sick in a REHAB facility in September 2018, Eva and her staff stayed overnight with my mother so the family could get some rest.. we were very comfortable leaving mother in the hands of Agape. Then again in January 2019 when my father went on hospice at home, Eva was extremely prompt and helpful in helping us assess the situation and her staff were extremely attentive and caring.. In January 2024 my wife, who had been suffering with dementia for several years, was hospitalized. She got to the point that she could not stand or walk and wouldn't cooperate with physical or occupational therapy. Skilled nursing facilities would not take her and the doctors suggested hospice care was the best alternative since there was nothing more they could do for her. I did not want to put her in a facility and preferred bringing her home. I chose a hospice company to provide appropriate end of life care, I would be the main care giver, and I was also given a list of home health care companies that I could use to give me a break when I needed to go shopping or just go for a nice walk. I chose to use the services of Agape Home Care. I met Ed and Eva, the owners, when they came to our home. Eva was my main contact. We came up with a plan to have one of their workers come twice a week, for four hours each day. Hours were flexible. Our primary care giver from Agape was Louise who was friendly, professional, and took good care of my wife. Louise would feed my wife, change her diaper, talk to her, and keep her company while I was out. If there was some cleaning that needed to be done, within the area of our home that she worked, it would be taken care of. There were a couple other workers who came when Louise was not available and they all acted professionally. My wife passed away about 4 months after she came home. I feel that Agape helped make a difficult situation tolerable and I highly recommend their services. read more

This review is over due, but I wanted to make sure that I took the same time and care with this review that Ed and Eva took with my grandma. My grandma went into the hospital on New Year's Eve, and the doctor informed me that she would need in home care when she returned to her condo. I spoke with a few agencies but Agape was the only one where I met with the owners. Right from then I knew they would be the ones. I am the only family member able to care for my grandma and I explained to Ed and Eva that it was a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. They said they would be like my extended family, and they were! They sent caregivers for a week, but then suddenly my grandma needed to be hospitalized again. It was so sudden and Ed and Eva gave me all the support I needed. I didn't know when my grandma would be discharged from the hospital and they were so understanding. I had to keep changing the date and time of when she would be home. I knew this made it difficult for them to schedule their workers but they never made me feel that i was being a burden. When my grandma was discharged from the hospital I was told she needed to go into assisted living. I worked as fast as I could to find a place for her and get her moved. Again, since I did not have an exact move date/time, I knew this was an inconvenience for Ed & Eva. But again, they never made me feel bad, they supported me 100%. I moved my grandma into assisted living less than 2 weeks after her return from the hospital. It was a lot of work (I work a full time M-F job) and I could never have done it without the support and care of Ed & Eva and their amazing staff of caregivers. They truly treated me like family. They helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my adult life with professionalism & compassion. I don't know what I would have done without them. I believe that a company is only as good as its leaders. Agape is 100% quality and care because Ed & Eva are 100%. Their staff is professional, dependable and caring. in 2018 we contacted Agape after my father had a heart attack and we realized we needed some help fast. Ed and Eva, the owners, met us in the hospital for our first visit and made my father feel very good in the process. Last September my mother and I met with Ed and Eva from Agape to discuss the caregiving needs of my father and learn a bit more about their Services. He is now 90 and after a broken hip and some other issues it was apparent my Mom needed help if they were going to stay in their home. A friend of hers from the Trinity Presbyterian Church Choir referred us to Agape and we have been very satisfied with their Service. Eva and Ed are very professional, compassionate and very organized. We use their caregivers 24 hours a day on the weekends and at least 10-12 hours during the week at night to supplement a private daytime weekday caretaker.
