    Quesadillas Caseras
    Gabby M.

Agave Azul in Boswell never disappoints!! Our friends even came 2 nights in a row because they're food is always so good! The margaritas are a classic, but I personally love their tequila sunrise! Tonight I found my new favorite dish. Quesadillas Caseras are the MOVE. I love corn tortillas so these 3 steak and cheese quesadillas hit the spot. I also love that they come with rice and beans!! Other highlights of our meal: - Texas Quesadillas - Steak Fajitas - Mini Taco Salad You really can't go wrong with any of

Food was pretty good but a little pricey. I ordered queso to go with chips and salsa and it costed $20.

Great lunch specials for $10 or less, including fajitas. Fast, friendly service. Large menu selection.

If you are looking for something more like a family restaurant, far removed from the tourist areas in almost any Mexican city or town, then you have found the right place. The place is clean. The chairs, tables and booths mismatched and well used but serviceable. The menus photocopied. The lighting is a little harsh. There's the compulsory photo of the Pope and the Madonna hanging in the corner. All of this and great food combine to make this my go to place for authentic Mexican cooking. I just sat down for a carry it dinner of 3 tacos pastor ($7.95 - Mexican style with cilantro, onion and tomato, thank you) some very good rice and the best beans I have had since I moved here from Chicago in 2005. I wish I could have shown you but I thought about pictures after I ate ... the smell was driving me wild! If your looking for real, authentic, family cooked food ... Get off of I-65 at exit 215, drive about 3 miles East to the stop sign, turn left and look for the orange building on the right. You won't be sorry. I'm thinking about going back again tomorrow!

Taquería México - The rest of the dining room. More booths to the left, but there was a family having dinner.

Taquería México - Counter, register and the pass from the kitchen. Can you spot the Pope in the corner?

So, we saw good reviews on this place and tried it. After we left, these positive reviews either meant we came at a bad time or these people never ate at Fat Rosie's, La Mex or even Pepe's. FOOD: The menu is very large. Kind of not organized in my opinion. My fiance ordered a tostada and enchilada. I had the taco, chalupa and burrito. When we left, we both agreed that Taco Bell is so much better. The food was EXTREMELY salty. Her tostada was soggy with no meat on it. My chalupa? Not at all what I expected. Taco Bells chalupas are SO MUCH BETTER. My burrito was not even wrapped at the ends, food will fall out as I bit into it. We had the strawberry margaritas, which were very good and not watered down, so there is that. Service: Our waitress was nice and knew the menu. The only thing that I raised an eyebrow (and its not a big deal) was we asked for another basket of chips and salsa. Which was good! She left, started getting the bar ready and cleaning up. When she saw we were waving her down, we asked about the chips and salsa and she kind of got miffed about it. Ambiance: The decor was really nice. The establishment was very nice over all, but honestly, we will not be returning. To much sodium in the food.
