4 steak tacos 2 pork and 1 fish

Steak flavor was out of this world. The fish was my 2nd favorite but all three were good. Plus Tuesdays are 3$ off each taco so it's a must

Absolutely terrific restaurant! Food is great! Service tip notch! Ambiance is fantastic- you can hear everyone at table! We had the Molcajete, pork tacos, sweet corn, & empanadas are FANTASTIC! I cannot emphasize enough how good the food is here! We will be back again!!

Great place! Really nice vibes; good music, nice seating, and decorations. Our server was friendly and funny. The food was great! I got three tacos, chicken, al pastor, and ground beef, and they were really good. Perhaps the place is a little expensive, but honestly it was worth it.

When my wife and I saw the menu and photos for Nom Nom, we knew it was a must try. Nom Nom is downtown in a old building in what feels like a dive. We started out with Mexican Street Corn which was covered with lime-flavored mayo with cotija cheese. The corn came out hot and fresh and I couldn't get enough of the citrus vinegar tanginess of the lime. We ordered 5 tacos: Carne asada, carnitas, braised pork (can't remember actual name), vegetarian, and poblano. I enjoyed the Carne asada the most as the steak was marinated and seasoned really well. The carnitas and braised pork would be my next choices. I was imagining the poblano taco to be like a stuffed poblano pepper and it was similar. I thought the vegetarian had good taste but not as stuffed as the other tacos. It's always a risk to get sweet tea in the Midwest for this Bama Boy and I would add Nom Nom on the "Do Not Get Sweet Tea" list. It was not fresh brewed and from a tap. I ordered a Horchata which was all right. It seemed like I have had creamier horchatas. No complimentary salsa and chips here (boo!) Overall, Nom Nom is a pretty good taco bar. The tacos were satisfying and the Mexican Street Corn was very enjoyable.

Took the bartenders recommendation and got the Tilapia taco... it was the best taco I've ever had, you have to get it! Carne Asada taco was okay, but since the other one was so good, it really was second fiddle. Guacamole had a cool twist with the pomegranate seeds. My wife had the taquitos as her meal, she said it was fine but should have got tacos. The 5 stars is all because of the fish taco!

We had an early Thursday dinner. We started with the Chips-N-Salsa, which you have to pay for. They were actually the star for me. The chips were served with three salsas, which were so good. We went with tacos, all of which were good. My fave was the Pulpos. My daughter liked the sauces which came with the Birras. I liked the size of everything. The tacos are smaller, but not tiny. Service was friendly and attentive. Good Recommendations. The space was great with a Day-of-the-Dead dark look (not macabre), as opposed to the more common bright Aztec-style colors. It was not too crowded, but was picking up.

Love love love their birria tacos! Perfect mix of messy but controlled. Drinks are strong! Staff is super friendly! I've eaten here like 10 times now! Will always keep coming back! Also the guac is life!

Nice place for some food and drinks. If you like tequila then this is your place to stop. Plenty of seating and they are one place that tends to be open on Sundays in Lafayette. So a great option when not much else is open.

Came here for a birthday lunch and we all had a nice time. The food was like upscale Mexican. Very delicious but also a little pricey. The tacos were the bomb! The queso was great as per usual. The guac really blew me away. I could have lived off of the guac and queso. This would be such a fun date night or girls night out on the weekend.

Not amazing, but nothing bad. I came here while visiting my cousin at Purdue. It's an inconvenient location and it's well decorated, but the tacos themselves are just OK. I appreciate it that they had several vegetarian options for tacos, and the fish in the fish taco was nicely crisped.

So I've been here a few times . . The staff is very friendly. The food is decent. I usually order the carne asada tacos and it's always been pretty decent . . except this last time it was ridiculously saltyyyyyy it was very difficult to eat. I was so disappointed. I am willing to give them one more chance as I've gone a few times now.. .. if my food turns out this salty again I will have to blacklist them (which I don't want to) . So pls take my feedback as constructive.

Overpriced drinks and mediocre tacos. A classic "hip" restaurant that puts more effort into their appearance than the food itself.

Our server, Flor, was fantastic. I absolutely loved her and she had a great attitude the whole night. Her attentiveness and spot-on recommendations made our whole night so fun! I would 100% recommend everything we had that night: Started off with the queso and Pao Drank the spicy pineapple martini (10/10) and the caipirinha The Picanha was one of the best steaks I've ever had - packed with flavor and cooked to tender perfection, and the sides and caremelized onions with it gave new flavors with every bite 10/10 spot and definitely recommending it to everyone. Can't wait for our next visit!

I went there for drinks with a friend so I didn't get a full meal , but let me tell you the meals looked amazing. We had ceviche and queso. The ceviche was a little too fishy for my liking and took away from the whole dish and the queso was a little blah...it was "just queso cheese" no razzle dazzle. The chips were delicious as they were house made and the caipirini flight was amazing...that definitely was the star of the afternoon. Bar service was great with a decent number of regulars but the bar tender was still attentive and explained all the drinks to us. Gotta come back to try the entrees.
