The problem is that her biological father has been absent from her life since she was 5 years old, and his whereabouts are unknown. As the parent who has raised and cared for her for the past 10 years, it was incredibly frustrating to be told that my daughter could not receive services because consent was required from someone who has had no involvement in her life and cannot even be located. Policies should take into consideration situations involving absent parents and provide a reasonable process for custodial parents seeking care for their children. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and without any meaningful assistance or guidance on how to move forward. I hope this organization reviews its policies so that children are not denied access to services due to

I was kindly referred by the police to this facility to seek petitioning inquiries and advocacy for a family member. DO NOT send anyone you care about here, they will not care for you properly and will neglect nor keep you in the loop about anything. Take this down again I don't care but there proof in the pudding. I will come after this place with a lawyer if they force my hand and I WILL WIN. Don't test me. This place cares about none of their patients, just getting past the day since they all seem so miserable to be there. I contacted Michelle and she said that my wife is very guarded about her issues and the likelihood is that she doesn't want to work on herself. Michelle was correct. In hindsight I regret we agreed to such a long initial session. I think we should have limited our initial session to an hour or two.
