I am extremely disappointed with my experience. I called to set up services for my 15-year-old daughter and was told that services could not be provided because her biological father had not signed off on them. The problem is that her biological father has been absent from her life since she was 5 years old, and his whereabouts are unknown. As the parent who has raised and cared for her for the past 10 years, it was incredibly frustrating to be told that my daughter could not receive services because consent was required from someone who has had no involvement in her life and cannot even be located. Policies should take into consideration situations involving absent parents and provide a reasonable process for custodial parents seeking care for their children. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and without any meaningful assistance or guidance on how to move forward. My counselor is thorough, kind, and compassionate, but the office staff is discourteous, incompetent, and a barrier to adequate care. Their inability to arrange payment/insurance information and manage the backend tech for Telehealth sessions has caused increased stress. read more

Worst of the worst. Absolutely no regard for my situation. Within moments of speaking to someone they were passing the buck immediately. Kathleen Haro sat and told me about how amazing she is and all this and that to then turn around and tell me she prefers to be successful and therefore only works with certain patients. Someone of lesser value can talk to me. Ridiculous! I'd recommend going anywhere else. Terrible experience. I went to the location on 94th avenue and Thunderbird to begin new counseling with Celeste Morin. At first meeting she's me walking and asks if I sprained my ankle. I say no, I have a nerve disease. I thought that was a little weird but I thought I would continue. She has me sit down and barely looks over my chart. I start going over some issues and she interrupts and says I have workbook for you to review. She texts me some information of an author that says I can control my nerve pain. Also mentions that it used to be 60 something dollars. I advise her no, this is not what I'm looking for counseling for. She says what do you need me for? Obviously, you're cured because you know more than me. I said no I don't, she says I do because I won't listen to her. I advise her that the appointment is over and she says rudely, bye. So I walk out and advise the Office Manager of the situation and he apologizes. I advised him that it should be her that is apologizing. So here's my biggest issue, how many other patients have been bullied or even misdiagnosed because of an ego of a this person who actually didn't' do their job? I advised the Office Manager that I would file a complaint with Medicare. I came to your office with real mental health concerns, and I'm treated like I'm a joke. This is not acceptable and I will make sure that people are held accountable for this. Medicare is not the only place I will be contacting. read more

Absolute worst place to seek counseling. Incredibly unprofessional. Avoid a therapist named Katelyn at all costs. She starts out nice and then turns on you and loves to flaunt all sorts of professional words. Very arrogant and narcissistic in my opinion. I'm not going to spend too much on this review. I have a lot to say but try to keep it to a minimum. First Kathy Haro is a horrible counselor. Do not go to her. She's got her own problems. Seems very angry and uncaring. She worked with my 11 year old and I literally heard her saying disparaging things about me to my own child! Second, Patrick Coulhan starts out nice... but he is too inexperienced and he isn't very organized. He mistakenly though my husband and I no call no showed. Not the case. We rescheduled. He didn't realize and didn't ever plug it in to his calendar. He calls and leaves this shitty message about how he needs to feed his family and it was just plain rude and unprofessional, when it was 100% his bad. Suffice to say, we never returned. read more

This place is a complete cluster f. They keep billing me for another patients sessions after I have called and told them we have not been there since December of last year! They have no idea what they are doing. The counselor even texted me that my daughter was extremely depressed and had called her! She did not! WTH?! I went to the North Phoenix Office. The office staff and counselors are sub par. I would look else where if you want an attentive office staff and a counselor that does more than talk about himself and ask how can he help you as if you are at a customer service desk. I asked the office staff for a receipt about 5-6 times and still haven't received it. My health care spending card is now frozen and I can't get any assistance. Wouldnt recommend to anyone if i could zero stars i would. First they refused to schedule me until my health adocate gave them my employer code then they tell me mosy recent apt is 3 weeks out.... fine then i schedule it at 4 i clearly tell them this since i dont get off work till 3 thirty. I get there and the incompetent staff tell me they scheduled me and my son at 3. The fuckin idiots put us down for the wrong block then they tell me they cant do anything because he already took the other client in. The next appointment isnt till 3 weeks out again... Idiotic people work here!!!! Hell no im not going to wait 2 whole months to speak to a therapist because the front staff are idiots!!!! I drove 30 min just to be told no. This place is a joke !!! After my first initial contact w this office, I'm not so sure I want to continue to pursue counseling here. It all starts with the first phone call and if the receptionist doesn't have her act together, it can greatly affect business! Leslie answered the phone and, quite frankly, she was very short with me and seemed uninterested in helping me choose the right therapist. My first choice was unavailable to my dismay and she said he has no opening in the near future. She continued to tell me how busy they all are, making me feel like I was wasting her time. She had no compassion for the information I was sharing w her. I'm quite certain that if Leslie were running my front office, she would have been canned a long time ago. These people ought to be trained in human compassion and sensitivity, especially being a counseling practice. I ended the conversation after she refused to answer my specific questions or offer me any constructive help on choosing the best therapist. She basically said I'd have to pay for a session and hope that the counselor I receive fits my needs. I'm not going to gamble on that. Counseling is expensive as it is. I just wanted someone there to inform me on the certain styles in therapy they offer. Again, this girl made me feel so discouraged and even more upset about my situation. read more

I've been coming to this office for a long time. I see Patti Ryan and she's great. I've never found an office where the front desk staff are great along with a counselor. The front desk staff are always so helpful and nice any time I come in. Anytime I've ever called they've always been helpful. As far as Patti, I'm so happy to have her as a counselor. Got an EAP referral through work, called, waited four days, called again.... zero response which I find extremely unprofessional. Their message greeting says "24 business hours" which is odd... so is that what most people consider one day (24 hours), or is it supposed to mean three business days (8 hrs per day)? Either way they have not responded in a timely manner, and the recording itself while spoken well, doesn't make sense in that respect. They may have great counselors, but the administrative team is clearly lacking. The location looked good, but I will have to look for someone else....IF my EAP will allow me to. read more
