We made a sizable investment in building a retaining wall and redesigning our front garden. We had to have many discussions before he got it right. If you do not care about reliability, integrity and professional responsibility, then Cuddy is your man! Be prepared to wait and be continuously disappointed. By the way, if you do sign on with him, do NOT pay him in full until the job is completed. He still owes us $150.00 and we have yet to see it despite a verbal agreement by him and an email commitment from his business manager that the check would be in the mail. So far, after several emails...nothing!! Despite this well-deserved negative critique on Mr. Cuddy and his business practices, his crew are respectful, hardworking, and did a nice job with our landscaping design. Had to chase him to get the schedule but once he privided the date, his team came out on the scheduled day and completed the pavement as proposed. Lorenzo has all the big equipment to do a job like this. I was impressed with his big new bucket truck and his tree grinder. They put so many branches that were like trees themselves into that thing, it was kind of amazing to watch it. They were very neat in their work, did not tear up my yard. Put down some plywood, cleaned up after themselves, and also pruned and shaped some smaller trees in my front yard. They were very careful where the branches would come to rest after they were cut and very skilled in the exact place they lowered the branches onto the ground. They used chainsaws and pruners and roped all the larger pieces so they could control exactly where any limb landed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with their job and wouldn't hesitate to use them for anything else and they do quite a few different things.

About 7 years ago, I hired this company to regrade part of my property, install a retaining wall,…read moredesign and install several flower beds, plant several trees, and design and install an irrigation system to properly water all of the new spaces. This was about $30,000 total and was supposed to come with a warranty. In addition to an owner backing a vehicle into an existing tree and breaking a major portion off at the trunk, they also cut back and killed several preexisting trees and shrubs. Each year since the project, I've had to have companies out to repair or replace portions of the project they did because they wouldn't honor their warranties. They planted half a garden of annuals plants when the entirety was to be perennials. They didn't use fungal resistant strains of trees and this year's "gift" will be deciding if the trees are salvageable. The stone steps they placed weren't properly installed and required removal, repairs, and replacing. They stopped showing up part way through the project, they planted grass where I'd paid them to remove grass and mulch and then wanted me to pay them to remove the seed and the grass that grew. They charged me for materials they didn't install, like liner under walkways meant to prevent weed growth. The install of the irrigation system was also faulty and didn't pass inspection with the city. This company was well reviewed at the time. I didn't know that most of the reviews were from friends and family until after, when I'd met the crew. They've rebranded several times, possibly to escape the bad reviews that follow. They can keep rebranding. I'll keep updating reviews.
