I started my visits here a few years ago with Dr. Tsay. At that time, he and Vivian would perform Kybella and botox for me to my satisfaction. There was always lasting effects. I had written a five star review for Dr. Tsay prior but I noticed a few months ago that the review no longer exist. I'm not sure why it got removed... Ironically, I only noticed that my review was gone because I had returned to write an update. I ultimately chose not to write it anymore. But now, we are a few more months out, and I have decided to share my experiences. I will naturally be an outcast among the sea of five star reviews, but oh well... In early 2020, there was a discount promo for botox performed by Allyson, so I decided to try it out. I had not had work done by Allyson before but I trusted that Dr. Tsay would hire someone as skilled and competent as he. I ended getting botox on my forehead and crows feet, and I noticed that the paralyzing effects lasted a few months shorter than it normally does. Later in the year, I scheduled again with the office for botox injections. I didn't specify who I wanted the injections with and sadly, I found out through a confirmation message a day prior to my visit that I would be seen by Allyson. I wasn't happy about that but I kept the appointment to give it another try with her. As usual, I drove several hours to my appointment because I live far away, and only upon arrival, I learned that I needed to pay for a $30 covid test before I am able to be seen. Either I pay the $30 or I am not seen for my appointment and will be charged for a "missed appointment." I was annoyed that I wasn't told of this extra charge earlier, but of course, I submitted because this appointment was the only reason I drove over 4.5 hours to. I literally turned around to head back home afterwards. I was put inside the room after I showed a negative covid test result and Allyson arrived in the room shortly. I explained to her that the results from my previous visits didn't last, so she said she would put more units in this time. Oh my goodness, it was so painful. The way she shoved the needle into my skin hurt! And I have never complained about pain over the last 3+ years while receiving botox injections. Allyson was in and out well under five minutes. I understand the need to minimize contact due to the pandemic, but it felt like such an impersonal experience. At checkout, I was expecting to prepurchase botox units as I normally do because they charge $8.50 if you purchase 100 and more units. This would make it $850, which is a saving that is much appreciated and needed. I told the staff my intent to purchase 100 units and was told that I was not able to do that. I ended up paying over $700 for 60-70-ish units if I am recalling correctly. I remembered thinking that if I were a business, I would show my gratitude to a loyal patient, especially one who drives 4.5+ hours (one-way) just to get botox. I know I am not entitled to it, but it's a professional courtesy to honor something they had been offering to patients for so long. I absolutely did not write this one-star review solely based on that though. Of course there is more. That evening, after I got home from my long drive, I looked in the mirror to discover that I was bruised at every - single - injection - site! It was even more apparent the next morning and for the following week. And finally, as if I didn't already have a bad taste in my mouth for that office visit, the straw that really broke the camel's back was that none of the botox was effective: not the injections for my forehead, not the injections for my crows feet and not the injections for my jaw. And yes, I know the aftercare procedure and followed it, as I have for the past several years. And I also let time pass, hoping for the results to finally kick in and it never did. It's been 7 months. I am extremely disappointed by both experiences with Allyson and even more disheartened that anyone would hire a person with the lack of skills. I see that there are mostly five star reviews on this page with many raving about Allyson's work, and that's great that others didn't have a terrible and money wasting experience like I did. But, other people's experiences does not negate what happened to me. This last visit was off-putting from the start to the end. I spent over $700 and drove a total of 10 hours round-trip for nothing. I have decided to find another med spa to help me. It's more than aesthetics; it's also about supporting an ethical practice and to receive reliable and pain management services as promised for the pain I suffer from sleep bruxism and TMJ. read more

SYLFIRM FACE & NECK MICRONEEDLING: Had a really nice experience getting the Sylfirm Face and Neck Microneedling done for the first time at the Ageless MD office. The staff was wonderful from check in to check out. I'd been to this office for dysport, Botox, and PDO threads before, but this was my first time doing any form of micro needling, and i didn't know what to expect. My questions were answered, everyone was kind. I was a bit nervous and soon found there was nothing to be afraid of. They numbed my face with cream and also offered laughing gas, which I passed on but was glad to know was available. The pain was almost non existent during the entire procedure. Plus, Cathy, the physicians assistant, who actually did the procedure, was just lovely! She made the process quick and easy. I've seen some results in the tightness of my skin where it used to be sagging, and I've noticed my neck lines have improved slightly. I think I'll need a few more sessions to see more substantial results, but am happy with how things are looking thus far. read more

Most reviews on here seem good for their services and in all fairness I did not get any work done. My rating is based on being told a Covid test would be done before my visit and instead it was an antibody test. The girls at the front desk were very nice but were unable to effectively explain the result. I was asked to reschedule. It would be helpful for them to provide a sign with information on the antibody test and descriptions on what each symbol means. I absolutely love DR.TSAY!!! I, unfortunately, fell victim of having the stereotypical "Asian flat nose". I've always wanted to do injections in my nose and jawline but i can't stand needles. But i definitely over hyped myself up. The pain was barely anything! The numbing definitely helped and i only felt a few slight pinches in some spots. I can't stop obsessing over my new nose. My bridge was already pretty straight but the tip of my nose rounded and drooped down so I'm so happy that dr.tsay was able to build up my bridge a little higher and raised my tip! It looks so natural and not fake at all! My jawline will take a few weeks to see the final results so I'm excited for that. I didn't feel any pain in my jawline. I went to Dr. Tsay's clinic for my TMJ. I heard from my friend that Botox could help relaxing the muscles that clench or grind your teeth in the night time. I had it at other clinics before, but didn't work well or long. Dr. Tsay suggested a new product that works quicker and last longer. He recommended me last dose cause after evaluation, he doesn't think I needed as much units that other clinic suggested would work. I felt the effect about 2 days after injection that in the night time my teeth are not fighting each other, and the tension on my jaw was significantly decreased.
