RESPONSE TO DR.TJ: Nope. Wrong. I just wanted an in person consultation with a medical member of the staff, not a chat with someone who answers the phone (even though, again, she was lovely) or random email exchange. "You don't have to lie Craaaig."... Look, there's no reason to fabricate my experience. I didn't insist on anything--the conversation didn't get that far because I was told you simply don't do them for lips. This wouldn't "denigrate" a business if you did what you said and said what you did. Do you see how silly this is? Do what you say silly! Don't be mad because y'all are trying to cut corners and got caught. ANYWAY YELPERS--AMAAAAZING experience with Dr. Faraz Valaie. He's in Newport Beach, 5 stars on yelp, but I found him on RealSelf.com originally. I'll post pics on his yelp site, but if you've read this far, do yourself a favor and check him out. Hands down his before and afters are phenomenal, and my lips are gorgeous! ORIGINAL Post: I did as much homework as one can possibly do online when I decided to get lip injections. I was pretty much committed to Ageless, M.D when I phoned for my free consultation. Admittedly, I was nervous. This is a very new world for me, I love my face and I wanted to be certain I made the best selection and heard a little bit more about the process from the actual professional doing the procedure. I also wanted to know about symmetry and any adverse reactions they may be able to anticipate after looking at me. I phoned and spoke with Raylene (apologies if I butchered her name's spelling). She provided the friendliness and professionalism others raved about in their reviews--she was an absolute delight! She was also super apologetic...because they don't do free consultations for lip fillers anymore. Um...what? That's plastered on their Facebook and Instagram pages...so, hunh? She explained it was a rather new policy (me: it must be because there's a video on FB from Feb. 8th- 6 days ago!-that is of a lip injection with the heading to call for a free consultation) and that she's had lip injections and she's more than happy to answer any questions for me. She also stressed that she could ask the doctor and get back to me with answers, or I could send a photo in so the doctor could see it and respond via email addressing any of my concerns/inquiries. She also said she could schedule a free consultation if I had any interest in any of their other services... Look people, this is garbage. Nice garbage, but still garbage. If you offer a service, do the bloody service. This isn't an outrageous expectation. I did ask, so if you your lips done you just go and do them? Even if a new customer? Raylene explained the medical professional who did my lips would always take the time to speak with me at the procedure...The sheer audacity is ridiculous. It's not a good look, and really takes for granted your future customers as well as current base. Came here on August 2020 for jaw clenching/biting botox. Haven't been able to sleep well for years now. I've seen physical therapist and precribed with jaw exercise and jaw facial release. After 3 months of pt exercise i decided to head to MD Tsai for consultation for jaw clenching. He recommended dysport for both jaws. Procedure took 15mins only. There were 3 nice ladies at the front desk who took their time assisting me with my first experience of lip filler. I told myself I would never get filler because of the experiences of those around me. I have seen botched lips as well as horror stories. Dr TJ Tsay is not only professional but funny, confident and intelligent among the moments we shared. The entire experience was perfect and I wish I could lay it all out on here. I have 3 friends ready to book their first lip filler experience here as well and I genuinely could not be happier. So I'm definitely late on writing this review because I've visited ageless a handful of times over the past few years and every experience has been a great one. I Started getting lip filler nearly 10 years ago and have been to a couple other places and ageless is hands down the best I've been to. They really pay attention to detail to give you the best results possible. My most recent visit I saw Ami for my first time getting botox/filler in my face apart from my lips. I'm nearing 32 and am starting to really notice my first signs of aging. I was super nervous about getting filler in my face, especially my cheeks, because I've seen a lot of unnatural results and I dont want to look like a completely different person. Ami was super helpful and informative. I was initially thinking of getting filler under my eyes and in my forhead but after speaking with Ami we decided on filling my cheeks. I was a bit nervous but I'm so glad I trusted her opinion! Filling my cheeks also helped my undereyes and the little bit of drooping starting around my mouth. And it looks SO natural. Trusting someone with your face can be intimidating but you can definitely feel safe going to ageless! The front staff is always super nice too. I'm honestly so lucky to have found Dr. Tsay. I was really nervous before my first appointment because I never had fillers before. The doctor and his assistants do such a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. I appreciate that he's a perfectionist so he takes his time placing the filler. I have a pretty hard time speaking up but he always ensures that I'm happy with the outcome. The work done to my face is so natural and beautifully done. I had Juvéderm with this doctor in the lips and my lips swelled up horrifically. Afterwords I realized it was because he inserted the needle dozens of times into my lips which was unnecessary as I've had it done before and no one ever needed to stick the needle that many times. Then I brought my friend to him even after the lip incident because I did like the way the lips looked after the swelling went down. He did Botox on both of us, but he ran out of time to do my friend and rather than reschedule her he put in the Botox very quickly and very rushed because he had patients waiting. He also put in too much. My friend wound up having eye sag as a result of the Botox. This left her very sad and upset and for weeks afterward she was embarrassed and depressed because her eye was sagging so badly. The worst part of this was rather than be gracious and understanding, when we brought this to the doctors attention they were very defensive and did nothing about it and did not offer my friend anything. No one is perfect in their job including doctors and it's understandable that mistakes can happen especially when people get rushed. But there is a way to talk to people and there is a way to treat people when things don't go as planned, and the doctor was very rude, defensive, and uncaring. And this is the reason why I have not been back. ----- I just read the Doctors reply. OF COURSE this is his reply. As if we could possibly get confused or mixed up and forget these incidents. Give me a break. This type of response is exactly par for the course with this guy. He doesnt like to take responsibility, and this is what we found when we went back to see him with my friends eye all droopy. He acted like he did nothing wrong. He has a lot of five stars but when we went in to see him he has a sign giving people a discount on something if they posted a review. Who isn't going to want a discount and give a good review for that? If you've had a good experience with him that's great but we didnt and his response trying to deny this happened when there are emails to back it up is exactly why I'd never trust him with my face again. read more

I just recently started coming here, and i'm so glad I did. They were really accommadating of me at Ageless md, and they were able to squeeze me in last minute before i was due to go to a family reunion. i really appreciated that b/c i had called 2 places closer to my house and they were not helpful at all. I was just looking for a little bit more fullness in my lips and a little bit of filler in my nasolabial folds which were kind of deep...maybe a little botox in my forehead too...my intention was just to look a little more refreshed before seeing my relatives. I hadn't given much thought to what I wanted beyond that. Dr Tsay was very understanding of how i felt as a newbie to the world of fillers and botox. Of course, I was weary of what I would look like or if I didn't like it. Dr. Tsay assured me that I would be happy and that we would go slowly and start small. Also he explained that these particular fillers are reversible and can be dissolved if you are not 100% satisfied. That was extremely comforting. I could tell Dr. Tsay is very confident in his work. He shared with me many inspiring before and after photos of patients he has worked with in the past to ease my anxiety. He reassured me that my face would not look drastically different or "done." His philosophy is all about adding more later and that totally paralleled my own thoughts. I felt like he really listened to my concerns. When I met with him he also made suggestions about what he thought was best for me, but i never felt pressured to do something I didn't want to do. Dr. Tsay is very hip and cool but 100% professional too. His demeanor makes him very relateable and it was easy to communicate with him my thoughts and expectations. I felt like he was my friend and that made me trust him. I was ready and that same day we did some fillers in my lips and nasal folds, along with some conservative botox in my forehead. He suggested I might consider to do some cheek filler to get a lift in my nasal folds and that is not something that I had originally intended to do, but went back for a few weeks later. So glad i did! Love the cheeks! And he will not let you overdo it! Although, I have learned it takes an unbelievable amount of product to look "overdone." So ladies and gentlemen: Don't be afraid that you might end up looking "puffy." This is unrealistic and Dr. Tsay would not let that happen. I'm in my mid 30's so i don't need a lot of "fixing" yet, but i really responded to Dr. Tsay's explanations of how sometimes fillers are used to subtly change weak or less than ideal facial angles. Now, I'm striving for that perfect V. Ultimately, Dr. Tsay is very skilled and his work is very natural, and I was very pleased with my results. I could tell that my face looked better but not in such an obvious way. Even my boyfriend who sees me everyday didn't notice and that is exactly what i wanted. I was very pleased and went back to do even more filler in my lips and nasal folds. I also got some Voluma in my chin for a little augmentation/projection. Along with the cheeks, I feel like the results are very aesthetically pleasing and add a better overall contour to my profile. I feel prettier. Another important thing: the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming at Ageless md. This was very important to me b/c it made me look forward to going back. I was already a bit anxious going in for the first time but once i got there i felt right at home. Dr Tsay's staff and the ladies that work in the front really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. They were all extremely sweet and down to earth. That's really awesome! I am in LOVE with my results! I had my first appointment for lip filler and Botox with Allyson and she was so sweet! Their numbing cream works amazing! I barely felt a thing. They definitely know what they are doing! The healing process was also really easy with minimal bruising and pain. I will definitely be back! You do have to have a COVID test before getting anything done but it was a simple finger prick for $30 or you can get tested elsewhere and results will be good for 30 days. Super easy. :) read more

I came in to get sculptra in my cheeks, developed nodules under my eye which Dr Tsay wouldn't admitted were there and or it wasn't him that created it. Offered to "fix" it for free with some filler and now I look like I have a permanent black eye. Nodules happen, filler attracts water under the eye but the denial is real with this one.
