She made me feel so comfortable, answered all my questions, didn't push me to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. As a Black woman, these types of appointments can be really intimidating and often times traumatic. Arriving all the way from Orange County, I thought I would give the imaging centers in Ventura County a try The office was extremely easy to find being in suite 120 at the intersection of the hallways, basically the center of the building. As I opened the doors, the interior seem spacious with inviting interior decorations. I am typing this review as I sit in the waiting room. The paperwork for me took about 5 minutes to finish as it was rather straight forward. The staff seem kind when they knew immediately who I was even as I was a new patient based on my appointment time. The ultrasound technician was extremely nice and courteous, having over 15 years of experience. The ultrasound experience was efficient as can be as I was comfortable, yet he was able to take a lot of pictures both ventrally and laterally with his ultrasound wand, with the right amount of pressure without it hurting. The ultrasound gel was warm and much appreciated it. The small talk was brief and enjoyable as I remained pretty much quiet throughout the entire procedure except holding breath when he says so. Afterwards, I returned to the office where I was able to reschedule my upcoming chest xray appointment with Stephanie. She had excellent customer service and was very polite. She even let me prefill a form so I don't have to fill it on the day of. Overall, I got my results back the next day. Instantaneously. I don't know about the other reviews on here but this has been the most pleasant experience I've come across in imagining. Coming all the way from Orange County. I look forward to my next appointment! Update: Amber, the x-ray technician for my chest x-ray was extremely skilled. She helped me remove my necklace, was very courteous, polite, positive, and radiant as she took my x-ray in an efficient manner. It literally took 5 minutes. The front check ins consist of 2 small sections, 1 has 2 front ladies with computers next to each other where you check in and stand up. The other small section to the right has another person with a computer and for someone to sit down if needed. However the section with 2 people you are literally standing next to another patient, me and my father were checking him in standing next to another patient as she was checking in. During check in, they did state they would ask a few questions, I did not think too much of it till they started asking him about his medical condition, past medical treatments, his current medications and history OUTLOUD. I got uncomfortable after a while and asked to complete it myself, why are we speaking this out loud? Is this not against HIPPA? They give patients registration forms to sign with a clip board and have them sit down... why not let your patients complete the medical questionnaire?! Why should patient standing next to us hear his current diagnosis, medication and current and past treatments especially if its super sensitive to him. My father and I noticed that after he mentioned specific words regarding his personal life, the patient to our right kept looking over. Again the answers themselves were sensitive and I don't feel my father got the privacy he deserved. After we left my father was really not happy with that and neither was I. He did NOT feel his information was private despite how many people are in the room or not, why does he have to say it outloud? If management is reading this, as a worker in the healthcare field myself... I would suggest patients answering that themselves on paper as this info is private. Trader Joe's: Mom stayed in the car where she could people watch and be warm in the sun. I was about 12th in line but it moved along nicely. An ee was at the door directing 1 out & then 1 in the door plus a clean cart!! She and all of us were smiling & enjoying being out safely. There was another ee gathering carts & spraying all of the carts down!! Clerk tried not touching the bags I brought & offered clean paper bags instead. I just packed my own bags to help & not waist their bags. Everyone did a good job of shopping & working safely!!!! Walmart: I was basically shocked when I entered the store. The only precautions taken were peices of tape every 6 feet at the pharmacy! Of couse they had the wipes for the carts, but, that didn't feel like enough. This is my go to Walmart where my boyfriend & I go so often that people have gotten to know us a bit & visa versa. It was disheartening to see these people not being protected in any way. I love this store but I'd give them a D- on that day. On a normal day they'd deserve a B+... Be safe and STAY HOME unless you NEED to go out.

When I made the appt, I asked the woman on the phone about numbing cream for my face, she informed me that I wouldn't need it bc it's a fast moving wand. I had never experienced this type of machine before, but when I asked her if it was the same result where all the hair falls off or can be easily wiped off after treatment, she simply replied, "yes". This was not the case, as I learned AFTER I spent $200 and wasted my time with this place. I left still looking like Chewbacca, and I emailed the office to let them know I was not satisfied. This is when I was told that each treatment would remove about 20% of the visible hair. Had I known this when I called to get info, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE APPT. I absolutely would not and could not show up to this gala looking like Chewbacca. When I asked to get my money back, I was told they have a no refunds policy. I asked them if they insist on their no refunds policy despite misrepresentation and flat out lying to me about the treatment results ... and no one responded -nor have I been refunded. Churn and burn is a bad business practice! Just gross and unethical business practices all the way around- from the woman at the front desk that made my appointment, to Angela that did my treatment (by the way, in an email she said she "assured me that I had some hair loss even though there was a lot of hair left"), to Sabina that went totally quiet after I disputed their no refund policy calling out their unethical practice of misinformation and misrepresentation. Also, upon further research I notice that a handful of the reviews are from their own employees (always with the no profile pic and only one review in their profile).
