I have accounts T Aggieland Credit Unions and Financial Solutions they offer as a coutesy to members. Today, was not the best of all days my MD grounded me for a trip I planned 3mo. So I had business to take care at the Bryan Branch which is close. I would like to Commend the Excellent service and direction of employee KELLEY SHAFFER for helping me with transactions today. I did not have my glasses with bifocals and she patiently helped me with my business which I HAD to complete today!! I felt respected and she exhibited tremendous patience with me on this day . Also providing information for the future that will save me time and $$. Shes the face of Excellence treating me like I was yhe only customer yet moving at a good pace so no one was looking at their watch if there was someone belind me. Absolutely terrible customer service. I was told to come inside to speak with the manager about a matter. I waited in line to be told to sit down. Then watch the manager wrap Christmas presents and carry them back and forth while other customers are getting helped. After 40 minutes she finally called me to her office then tells me it's my fault I waited because I never signed in. The lady that told me to have a seat went and told the manager I was there to meet with her! She never told me to sign in or anything. Then they couldn't even help me. read more

Mobil apps are useless. Half time don't work or down . Been a customer forever and I loathed the Mobil app for deposits. If in a hurry you better find another way. read more

I went to buy a box of pennies for a project. After waiting for 5 minutes in the lobby before anybody even came out to greet me, I was told that only members can exchange bills for coins. Some employees are very helpful and polite, so this is an administrative poke, but after several years of banking at ACU and coping with the small bank/credit union idiosyncrasies, I have decided to stop 'supporting the local financial institutions' in BCS because they have bad rates for everything and awkward policies. This particular location has "indoor tellers" so even when you get out of the car to talk to a person and ask questions, you get to use a small cctv screen and stand in your own personal 'walk in-convenience'... its like banking with max headroom... look it up, nubes! read more

Rude & unhelpful drive thru Teller when trying to make a deposit! I use a shared credit union and wanted to make a deposit. Gave them a deposit slip from the shared account, deposit slip from Aggieland C U, teller says that they cannot pull up my account AND they cannot call my bank-I have to call them. My bank tells me to give them my member number only. Drive back thru and do that. Teller says she has to have my password, which I have not used in years. I say, is the PW digits? No. I guess 2 other PW that I use with other accounts. No. No. I say could it be my mother's Maiden Name? "We could try that" Bingo. Teller could NOT have been more unhelpful. Felt like I had to beg for her to take money from me. Go to A&M and get some HOWDY training, lady. read more

My wife and I have had accounts at the Bryan Aggieland Credit Union for many years, including checking, CDs, and IRA. We have found their rates better than most other local banks and Credit Unions. We have been very satisfied with the service. Recently, I noticed on Friday Nov. 11 an error listing incorrect hours on their web page, I notified them and the problem was fixed before the weekend was over. read more

I have been a member of Aggieland Credit Union for many years. I am no longer able to interact with them via telephone since my account number is not completely printed on my monthly statement. Rather than verifying my identify via the information they have on file, they insist that I physically come to their offices to transact business. I find this to be very inconvenient and will have to consider closing my account. read more

My husband and I wanted a secured credit card and on June 8, 2017 made a deposit of $1,500.00 We were told to wait for 7 - 10 business days. No card has been sent and after trying to call the Bryan branch several times finally had a manager ( from College Station ) get on the phone and was told it had not been ordered. He didn't seemed concerned either. When I spoke with a customer service rep. @ corporate I was told there's nothing they could do about it. It was ordered TODAY June 26, 2017. We still have to wait another 7- 10 business days they can't drop it in the mail today ? Where is the $ 1,500.00 ? How does this go unnoticed ? Is this a case of selective book keeping? Aggieland credit union DOESN'T CARE that I'm concerned about what happened to our money. read more

Have been disappointed with your service, or lack thereof. Namely when visiting your drive-thru it takes a minimum of 5 minutes after sending in a check to be cashed. Invariably, tellers don't look at the check and always appear on camera to ask WHAT IS TO BE DONE WITH THE CHECK WHEN ITS CLEARLY INDICATED IT IS TO BE CASHED IN THE PAY TO ORDER AND FOR COLUMNS . I suggest you instruct the tellers to read the check and take action accordingly to save time for themselves and customers. Also having to sign a receipt for cash received appears to be redundant when you have a check showing the cash received. If teller makes a mistake the customer has enough sense to report it immediately. Its no better inside, as no one ever has the ability to cash the check and must take it to a drive in teller to get the cash. What a waste! Attempting to get service on the phone is a joke! read more

Once again they offer a service but fail to train their employees or can't really perform the service. I understand wanting to keep up with the other banks but if you are not able to perform do not offer it. I am slowly moving all of our accounts because of this. I use remote deposit in 2 other banks, works great. They email you when they get it, when they deposit it with a hold and when it is released and tell you to destroy it. Aggieland..... nothing. Then when I called the next afternoon to ask if there was a problem (after logging into the account online and not seeing anything) I get put on hold and after about 5 minutes I'm told I just endorsed it but did not put for deposit only so I need to do it again because they will not deposit with out that. I ask when they were going to contact me to let me know there was a problem. Oh they don't do that. When I ask to talk to a manager, she is busy I can leave a voice mail. Very disappointed in the decline in customer service and I have been with them for over 15 years. I have had 2 friends that I recommended tell me they are moving because of the customer service. Sadly I have to go also. read more

Forget about trying to get service over the phone. They don't follow up with what they say they'll do. You have to go in to get service. I was part of the Target scam, and was told over the phone I'd have to fill out paperwork to get my stolen $400 back and also to get insufficient funds charges - resulting from the stolen money - taken off. But the paperwork wasn't sent. When I called back, another lady told me I'd just have to wait and that maybe the first person just hadn't gotten to it. A few hours later, I just went in during my lunch break and got the paperwork. I was in a hurry since I had no money, no debit card. They weren't in a hurry. Then also because of the same fraud, they supposedly ordered a new debit card, which I was supposed to get within two weeks. I didn't. I called over two weeks later, and someone told me to wait over the weekend. I called back the same day and talked to someone else, who said it had been sent, but must have gotten lost in the mail. So he ordered a new one. I never got the first one that was supposedly sent. I also made the mistake of ordering checks from this bank ONCE. Never again. I kept going in and talking to the same guy, who said he'd ordered them. Finally, fourth try - talked to a different person and got them ordered. I will eventually change to a new bank. It's just a lot of trouble. My boyfriend is also looking for a new bank, as Prosperity has screwed him over and messed several things up since it took over First Victoria. I wouldn't go to either. Save yourself some trouble! read more

I've been a member since 1992 when I moved to College Station with my family. Now, with family off on their own, I have been a happy customer and still use them even though I moved to another city near Dallas. It's a bit inconvenient but I'm OK with that. I simply mail in rare checks written to me and my other deposits are direct. My biggest complaint is the inexcusable, preposterate low interest rate for my savings account. Really?-- pennies on a six figure balance! Simply ridiculous and for that reason I cannot give 5 stars and it has prompted me to look at banks where I live. I prefer credit unions but alas, there are none where I live. When I lived in CS, occasonally I needed to talk to someone and they were always friendly and the service was good, but I really have to find a banking facility that has a better rate for savings accounts. At my age, I cannot risk what little money I have on stock market dabbling or any other schemes which involve considerable risk. I think that getting my money out of the credit union and putting it under the mattress is better than leaving it in this credit union. read more

Not everyone does online banking ... I know but I don't think they should charge you to press a key to transfer your money from your account into another account that is at the same location.... Really....... read more
