I had issues with trees in which the PLASTIC "chains" broke as well as the wooden stakes that just split in half. I asked Cathleen (co-owner) if they could come out and re-stake the trees because of the broken stakes/chains. It had only been a few months since they were planted. I also sent her pictures of the broken stakes/chains and showed that the trees were now growing crooked since nothing was holding them in place. She was going to charge me $210 to replace THEIR broken chains/stakes on 2 trees. She claimed that the warranty didn't cover damage due to a storm. I asked what storm she was referring to and she replied, "It doesn't have to be a named storm, could be just bad weather, like heavy winds or rains." What? I told Cathleen I was disappointed, especially since it was well within the warranty period and the fact that I spent a LOT of money there. I had also referred other people there (which I won't do again). Her only response was, "If you'd like me to send you a copy of the warranty, I would be glad to do that. The warranty states that we don't cover weather situations." So keep this in mind if you think you're actually getting a warranty there!

(Wonderful selection just not what I was looking for, plus I had people waiting in the car for me so I didnt really get to look more in depth into all the plants.) I did ask though as I was checking out if they would be getting some anytime soon (I really didnt want to try growing some myself from seedlings) and the lady said they should in a few weeks and even gave me a card in the case I wanted to call ahead to see if they had any. Well she wasn't lying cause I went back today and they had the plant I wanted in stock! It was an impromptu kind of trip so I didnt bother to call ahead, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it as I walked in. Also walked out with a "dragons breath" and my parter walked out with a "mexican bird of paradise" and a "boxwood basil" which we had yet to see and the few other nursery/garden stores we had been to. I politely asked a worker for assistance with loading, and I was abruptly told, "Go to the office," with an attitude that was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Being out in the sun is not an excuse for disrespect. When I went to reception, the situation somehow got worse. The facial expressions, the tone, the dismissive behavior -- is this truly the face your company wants representing it? Because it was embarrassing. While placing my order, the receptionist actually had the audacity to question me: "Why so many flowers?" and "You don't even have a landscaping company." Since when is it appropriate to interrogate a paying customer about their purchase? That is not her role. When there was confusion about the company name, I calmly offered to write it down to ensure accuracy. She handed me a pen and paper in an incredibly rude manner, practically throwing it at me. Completely unacceptable. After I wrote it clearly, and she realized the mistake was on her end, there was no apology. No accountability. Just attitude. This entire interaction was unprofessional, disrespectful, and far below basic customer service standards. I expect better from a company that wants to do business with professional landscaping clients. If this is how customers are treated, management seriously needs to reevaluate their staff and training.

I've scored some incredible bargains on their 4-inch plants for just $1.99. Just make sure you go with at least some self-control because it's way too easy to go overboard--I definitely have! I also bought a Pink Lady seedling here, and it has grown and bloomed beautifully. The quality of their plants is excellent. I've lost a few plants simply because I'm a beginner, but I've also managed to keep many of the ones I bought back in early March, and now it's July.
